My friends and I did staycation on June 30.Suite 2 was very clean and comfortable, also very quiet .I later learned there were 10 females spending the night at this property. The lone man did an excellent job of maintaining a most quiet environment. We had an excellent dinner and complimentary breakfast. The staff represents the very best of our province.I will return.

We loved the quietude of this small town, and especially of this wonderful inn. The views out of the window are amazing, but a few steps onto their big deck, and it gets even better. Our well-appointed room was spacious and clean, and very charming. We had a jacuzzi, and it was very lux and refreshing after a long drive. We also used their onsite laundry, which was simple, easy and convenient. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, we wish we could have stayed a few more nights.

We stayed at By the Sea Inn & Cafe for one night on our way to Fogo Island. We had a lovely second floor room with a large shared balcony overlooking the bay. We had a very early departure the next morning; we were so grateful that the staff delivered hard boiled eggs, crisp bacon, bread & jam and juice to our room so we wouldn't leave hungry. Dinner on the cafe deck was delicious. King's Point was a very pretty village; lots of colourful chairs along the promenade made us wish we could stay longer.

This Inn and Cafe is right by the water, convenient for travellers by car or by boat. We love our room upstairs with a great view. Very quiet overlooking the ocean. We stayed during a weekday.. No boats around us and we were the lone occupants on the floor.. with the whole deck to our own!!! Lovely hot tub in the room as well. Food was lovely too. Large portion. Friendly staff. Covid-19 ready. Lovely deck outside the dining room if you want to enjoy the ocean and fresh air. Will stay there again.

Went for the food as everyone was saying how great it is. Honestly nothing special. Just basic north American food. Beautiful area with a nice back deck. Nice staff. The village it is in is cute. The food comes with sweet buns that are great too

Opens at 11am only because it is outside summer hours. Complimentary breakfast with stay. Allowed to choose 3 items from list of items on the card issued during the check in process. Choice of indoor or outside deck seating. Food was tasty although the beans were a bit mashy. Efficient service.

This appears to be where all the locals go. Food was good. Chowder was superb. Tried the cod tongues. They were good. Surprised. Burger was good. Fries good. Crepe ok. Jan rather than fresh berries

Service staff super nice. Like super nice. However, Was super Uber super slow.

One kept coming and asking if we wanted our bill. We just had our appetizer at that point. With a bit more organization perhaps they could get speedier. But if ur not in a rush anywhere it’s a great place for a relaxing dinner

Inn by the Sea is by far the best in all categories. The suite we had for the weekend was spotless, the food in the cafe was fabulous ( all homemade) but best of all the staff were the best. The service was second to none. We would highly recommend Inn By the Sea and hopefully will get a chance to visit again.

I had to do some work in the area. We had visited this area before and we knew how beautiful the place was. We arrived tired, had a rest then wonderful sea food dinner and wine. Then relaxed in the suite with the jacuzzi tub.
Everything was fantastic, warm friendly staff. Excellent service and a fantastic view of the bay.
Kings Point is one of our favorite places to go, just a short distance off the Trans Canada, well worth the detour. Enjoy the area and relax in this wonderful inn and restaurant.

We were visiting family and couldn't find suitable accommodation in Springdale so we decided to try By The Sea Inn, which was 20 km away. So glad we did as the stay was just perfect and the breakfast the next morning, which was included in the rate, was great way to start our day.

The staff and chef went out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable. Can't wait to see the finished product as the property has plans to build additional condos. Breath-taking views of the bay from our room.

I stayed in a ground level room that you can park just next to the door. If you request for it early, i don't see why they can't reserve it for you. Only set back is that you can hear the footsteps of the unit above you because of the wood flooring.
