The room (418) over all was clean, but the rug was obviously faded and worn. The walls are not sound proof, you can hear everyone in the hallway and next door. The A/C unit was rather loud and bathroom while clean had a really old toilet seat, that was faded, the tub while clean, had rings and stains. The sheets while clean were very thin and well as the comforter what was REALLY REALLY thin. Internet worked well,
While the buffet was open, it was unattended and messy and not appealing, the eggs were dry, and potatoes and sausage looked grey, this was at 9 am. especially for 150 bucks a night. There were no juices in the juice machine, the coffee was warm and not hot. The waffle batter was AWFUL and made thick frisbees that had the consistency of wall paper paste. The waffle machines were unattended and messy.
Now for the two issues. The internet was terrible. Once I got a connection, it was fine but after about 45 minutes, it kicked me off for about 15 minutes. This happened repeatedly all night.
The second issue was bizarre, close to midnight, I heard a gurgling sound in the bathroom and went in to see what it was . It sounded like someone in the floor above me was taking a shower and I could see the source of the sound. Their shower water was draining into my bathtub. I could see hair and soap scum as it bubbled up. I called for maintenance to come up, but by the time they arrived, it had drained. Maintenance look at it and left. The management never apologized nor offered a discount.
If these two issues were fixed, it would be a nice place to stay.
As a matter of fact we still haven't received our refund. Its been 2 weeks and now working with the bank.
It was too late to make reservations else where so we ended up going to the local Walmart to buy bed sheets set, a blanket, Lysol spray and hand sanitizer.
To top everything off the elevator was broken and no do not disturb sign for our door.
A staff members was also smoking right outside the door allowing her cigarette odor to consume the lobby area.
I was very disappointed with this hotel and quality of stay provided.
