Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Keeping in mind that this is a two-star motel, we did not expect it to be luxurious. However, the rooms and bathrooms as well as furniture, are a bit dated. There are a lot of markings on the walls, so it could have done with some new paint. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom mirror was cracked. The bath towels seems a bit on the old side. However, the room had a small refrigerator and a microwave. There was no safe. Glendale is a nice area and our windows faced into the inner courtyard, so it was quiet during the night. We did not hear any of our neighbors on either side, but we could hear other guests walking in the room above us. The water pressure in the faucet was good and temperature consistent, but the shower head was old and the water spray did not deliver as well as it could have. Internet signal was strong, but unreliable; it would randomly shut off and one would have to reconnect again. This was probably the most bothersome issue. We also had a flood, when water started gushed from underneath the sink. We were not in the room at the moment when it started, but since we were only gone for about 40 minutes or so, we were able to alert the management almost right away. Luckily, there was a large garbage can underneath the sink, which caught some water and we quickly pulled the garbage can from the bathroom and replaced it. There was still a lot of water on the floor, and we had to wade into the bathroom to get our things out. Also, my suitcase that was sitting next to the sink was a hard-shell type, so even though it was in water, there was no damage to anything inside of it. The management reacted very promptly, they offered us a different room and help moving our things. They were very courteous and professional. We were moved from a double room with one queen bed to a larger room with two queen beds and more space. Things like that happen, so we were not at all upset about that. Especially considering how quickly the management took care of us after the incident. Overall it was a good stay.

In my experience, the first point of contact sets the tone of your stay. Property manager "Mike" greeted me with a warm smile and went above and beyond to acomadate my personal needs. My room and bed offered me all the comforts of home. And size does matter, a King size bed acompanied by a massive room television, it was a perfect fit.
And the location of the property is surrounded by plenty of eateries. What surprised me most was that even though the property resides on a main Street the noise factor was zero, I slept peacefully.

We arrived early in the day after a long flight on little sleep, and the hosts were very generous about giving us an early check-in to get a nap. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated having a microwave and fridge so we could stock groceries from the nearby supermarket for breakfast at a small dining table.

Very nice reception people and the area is okay, but otherwise a bad hotel. There was a moldiness in the room that left my voice hoarse for a couple of days and made it harder to sleep The heater was super loud, and turning that off to sleep, the blanket was not warm, so I was a bit cold. There was a ton of light coming in the window, as there was a bright light outside the window and the curtains let a whole lot of it through. There was quire a powerful smell of deoderizer in the room, as to cover a smell. The shower never got hot, just tepid, and the towels were rough.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed, including a microwave oven, which is not provided at most motels. One morning, my brother went to the office to get coffee. He asked for cream and sugar. The clerk provided sugar and stated that they didn't have cream. The next morning, my brother was walking to get coffee from a nearby fast food restaurant and the clerk ran out of the office and told him that he had coffee for him with cream. It made a huge difference that they went out of their way. My brother, sister-in-law, and I were in Glendale due to the passing of a family member. That small gesture was appreciated.

If you're going on a business trip, this hotel is nice and quiet and a good price. Looks like it has been remodeled, we did have some issues with our room like the AC kept turning off and the shower drained the water very slow. we notified the staff, hopefully it gets taken care of. overall, a decent hotel to spend the night.

We were at a weekend event in Pasadena and The Chariot Inn was so convenient, only 15 minutes away. A great value, pleasant and clean room, super-friendly staff! This was our second time staying at The Chariot Inn, and just as nice as the first.

Just a lovely hotel! Clean, quiet, comfortable and safe. The staff are amicable and quite courteous, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Parking is secure and closely monitored, the Glendale area is one of the best in LA.

They didn't make us feel very welcome. The check-in office was locked at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, he said because of Covid. But the Covid restrictions had been relieved two weeks ago. Then the first thing he said was not "Good afternoon. Welcome to Chariot Inn," The first thing he said through the thick glass night window was "Do you have ID? Do you have a credit card?" Then he went and fiddled with his computer terminal for several minutes before passing the key and telling us where the room was. Not very courteous. The room however was acceptable enough. Not anything special. Bed was comfortable.

Overall good but needs updating. The rooms seem a bit out dated and old but service was good and no problems encountered. Also, need tp have a microwave and better Ironing board cover, the cover kept falling off and it made it difficult to iron our clothes. However, I would rate the stay a 6/10.
