This resort is amazing! Our family just stayed there for the first time this past week, and we had so much fun! Check in was a breeze, and we were able to start our stay very early in the morning, and luckily they had a room ready that we were able to get checked into way earlier than expected which was nice! Water park was fun and had something to do for everyone! Breakfast buffet at the loose Moose was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Rooms were very clean, spacious, quiet, and beds were comfortable. The shower was amazing and I loved the scent of body wash and soap they provide in the rooms! The wolf passes for the kids were totally worth it, and gave them access to all the fun activities! The activities offered on the wolf pass have changed (from my research) over the years and some amenities are no longer offered, but the changes were okay and they still had fun. My only regret is not staying longer!! I highly recommend this as a fun and relaxing family getaway, especially when they are offering promotions.

GWL is very expensive. In order to get more bang for your buck, arrive BEFORE check in. This is something the hotel does not advertise but something you can totally do. Arrive early, leave your bags with bell service. They can hold it until your room becomes available. Also, do NOT pay for meals ahead of time. It won't be worth it. The way that works is, "Breakfast with Characters" is paid up front. The payment includes gratuity, meals expense and taxes. You're better off paying that directly when you get to the park. Also, for lunch and dinner, if you get the meal plan, the hotel will issue you a voucher with a "Paid balance". If for any meal, you come under the balance, it will not be refunded to you (thumbs down). Any overage you will be responsible for at checkout. Also, if you paid for food ahead of time, make sure you use lunch and dinner on your arrival day as they expire at check in. And the last time that I can give is, you can enjoy the park AFTER you check out. SO DO NOT purchase the late check out. You're welcome, I just saved you $69.99.

Booked 2 very large, very expensive rooms for 12 of us, each room slept 6. Not at all a cheap deal. A few things that are good to know. On a Saturday the waterpark was at capacity -we had to wait for people to leave to get in and once in it was crazy packed. Now if you are worried about Covid a crazy crowded indoor waterpark may not be right for you. I mean its packed and indoors and no one is in a mask, no large open windows to the outdoors (we are in SoCal so I am not sure why that was). I was OK with it but I am not sure everyone would be. Also I wish they had water filing stations so you can bring your own water bottle and refill easily- I hate all the plastic waters bottles they are selling. Kids liked the Pizza and it was pretty reasonable. I packed snacks and breakfast for the room. Mini Golf at $7 was ok and arcade was small and crazy crowded. Everyone we spoke to was nice and helpful rooms and lodge were clean. Kids liked the waterpark. Overall value for the money was not great but kids did have fun and the rooms are clean.

the Loose Moose restaurant (inside the hotel) is way over priced and most food is not kid friendly. We bought the food package and thought it would be simple to use, NOT so, what they don't tell you is they give you a budget and most of the food actually cost more than what the budget allows. So you pay a flat fee for food in advance and then when you check out they add more extra costs to your room. The pool was so crowded it was difficult to enjoy and the water smelled of urine. The plumbing made noise most of the night and when we called the front deck at 5AM we were offered a free night.. When we check out the next day NO ONE remembered anything about a free night. We actually had to shut the water off to the toilet so we could get some sleep. If we were going to do this again DO NOT eat at the hotel. There are many food places close by and the kids would actually eat the food.

BEWARE they add hidden costs and the resort fee is substantial.

The average room at this resort hovers around $300, disregarding any promos that may be running. For that, you get 4 passes to a water park that's almost as good as any other, a room, and not much else. The water park has the basics: A kids splash area with bucket, a toddler pool with slides, 3 tube slides, a racer slide, 2 raft rides, a small vertical drop slide, wave pool, and a lazy river. Only one of the rides is really unique. There are activities, such as kids yoga and story times that are free for anybody in the lobby. They have a game called MagiQuest which is a fun enough fetch quest game, but nowhere near a good value. Everything else is prohibitively expensive. The only reason to come is if you really want to go on waterslides in the winter. Otherwise, you are better off getting passes to Soak City.

We’ve been to many GWL and this location is RUN DOWN!! Carpet is nasty, rooms are cramped and not efficient, no closets in the grizzly bear suites like most locations have, no clocks in bedrooms, all the chairs have fabric (which is gross at a water park), and we waited in line 1.5 hours to check in and our suite wasn’t ready. We were told this location doesn’t guarantee your room by 4pm check in time. Magi quest is similar to TX where it is on multiple floors which is cool… but it’s the same game so if your kids completed it at another location, they will be bored. The gift shop is sparse, and overall the hotel needs a major rehab. Surf ride was closed, and was the main reason the kids picked this location, so that was another blow to this lame GWL. There were about 5 single tubes for the lazy river so you had to walk around it. Complete joke and they told us we had to keep an eye out for one of the 5 tubes to become available. 1 out of 6 of us finally got a tube after 45 mins of walking the river waiting. Other locations are full of both double and single tubes for the river. 2 stars because the cleaning staff does clean the old and busted finishes here… so much that the door handles and toilet handles have their paint worn off. You can’t just clean worn out carpet forever and expect it to still look decent. Don’t expect the same quality here that you have at other GWL locations like CO, TX, or AZ. A few of the customer service staff are rude for no reason and you can tell they don’t want to be here, it just adds to the negative experience. We spent most of our time leaving the hotel to find other stuff to do.

I got my reservation for this hotel through Priceline, and when I checked in they charged me additional "resort fees" and I was quite upset with that! The front desk said that they would have a manager talk to me about the fees and that never happened. I then got an email survey and requested to be contacted and that never happened either. AND I never got a receipt for all of the extra charges that my credit card statement reflects.

If you have children and can take advantage of the water park, it might be the place for you, but I don't have small children. Also, the room key is a wrist band that grants you access to the water park (that I didn't use) and was told that if I lost the wrist band then they'd charge me $50/band. The room also didn't have an alarm clock or any device to charge my phone. I won't be back.

I waited a couple of weeks to post hoping that the property would respond to my internal review I gave them, sadly their reply was poor and did not address 90% of the issues I mentioned. To start, we love Great Wolf Lodges, we have stayed now at 4 different lodges. Sadly this time, the experience was awful. The only highlights were the Front Desk and Housekeeping Teams were pleasant and helpful. Room Cleanliness was poor, tape left on walls from last guest and both beds were short sheeted, which is difficult to do on a queen bed. No alarm clock in the room either. Hair and mildew buildup in shower, several stained bath towels as well. Both beds had rips in the top sheets. Overall food was poor, pizza and burgers had little to no flavor, garlic bread was brunt badly, dinner buffet was a complete rip off, $30 a person for a sad selection and maybe the worst prime rib I’ve ever had. Water park was fine except that the next day after we departed I received an additional bill for $50 for not returning pool towels, we gave 2 of our towels to the towel attendant, not our fault he didn’t log it. The 3rd towel did go back to our room but it was sitting in the bathroom with the rest of the towels when we left. You mean to tell me that Housekeeping doesn’t have a process to report when they find towels? I find that very odd and poor service. The person who thought it was a good idea to put the Magi Quest stations on the hotel floors was either drunk or high when they thought that was a good idea. The layout took all the fun away from the game having to wait for elevators or climb stairs. On top of several stations not working, the solution, “we’ll just advance you in the game.” Sad! We had a 1st floor room which was great so we didn’t have to deal with the elevator traffic, but our room over looked a patio and we didn’t have any sheers on our windows to let the nice outside light in but keep some privacy. Dunkin’ Donuts had a spot for mobile orders but they were not accepting mobile orders. The app to order food did not work most of time we were there (seems to be a common issue at all Lodges). Having to pay $30 a day for parking on top of a resort fee is straight out robbery, I totally understand needing to charge for parking for non-hotel guests, especially given the location. But for hotel guests, parking should be part of the resort fee. Oh and my ticket didn’t work twice and I had to go to Front Desk to get new ones. We spent over $2k just at the property and on our last day we sadly couldn’t wait to leave, it was that bad. We didn’t get our money’s worth, not even close. I hope this gets to someone who can affect change and have this Lodge live up to the potential it has, it’s a nice building.

This place is a joke of a resort! The room is inadequately supplied with pillows for the extra sofa bed and the beds have no blankets. Only sheets. 4 pillows for 2 queen beds and a sofa sleeper. The staff is rude, condescending and honestly should not even work in the hospitality industry. The girl in the candy store was the most personable on the entire property. The state that there is a Disney shuttle, but that seems to be a joke as well! The staff has no clue what Apple Pay is when using it to book a room and cares not about listening to anything you have to say to explain. I would not recommend this place to anyone, ever! The carpets are old and dingy and the elevators smelled like urine!

We visited GW on a Sunday of a 3 day weekend. We got there at 1pm and once we did the pre-checkin on the app, went to a pre-checkin line and were able to get our wristbands and wolf ears. We were greeted warmly and tended to in a prompt and friendly manner. We were then instructed to await a text letting us know when we could enter our room. Regular check-in time is 4pm, however, it's possible they would text you sooner based on room availability. In the interim, we were permitted to go into the water park where there are changing rooms and shower stalls. Around 330, we received the text that our room was ready.

There are a lot of family activities to take part in and the staff is friendly and helpful. The Lodge itself is not fancy, but is definitely clean and well kept.Check out is a breeze and done on the app. We will definitely be visiting again!

They have (had?) a check service at the front desk. I would reconfirm though before counting on it.

They can! There are water slides that they can ride down on rafts with an adult. Also, there is a huge play area for little children with slides, climbers, and a lot of splash pad features. They can also play in the wave pool.
