We checked in late on December 30th as we arrived for a Disneyland New Years Celebration. Check in was fast and easy. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We went to our 6th floor double queen room. The room was very clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. This Hilton is a short drive from Disneyland and most Uber / Lyft trips ran about 12 to 14 with a tip. This place has a great little store and they serve breakfast. We did not eat breakfast as we were always rushing out to get to the parks as fast as we could. This Hilton Garden Inn is doing things right! We will be back!!!!!!

The hotel is a little older but clean. It does not have the safety security box in room but you do have access to a lock box through the front desk. The hotel does not have a lot of extra amenities but this is all made up by the excellent care from the staff. My experience was through my 70 year old mother. I was attending a convention and during the day she remained at hotel due to her wheelchair mobility. She had breakfast each day in the hotel lobby restaurant (serves breakfast and dinner) There is also a small bar if interested with weekly specials. (beer $5/cocktail $6). I have to give a shout out for Wincess her breakfast server. On the first day she asked if she could have a smaller portion and have the child serving instead of the adult and the server was more than happy to accommodate her. The next day he asked he she would like the same and with a few changes she received another great breakfast. By the 3rd day he had her preferences down and she felt spoiled and catered too. It was funny as on the 4th day which was Saturday (the day we were leaving) Wincess was not on staff. My mother was so very disappointed that she did not even know what to order. The staff on hand of course accommodated her and catered to her very demanding needs. I appreciated their patience with her and maintaining the high level of service they provided. The hotel does offer the opt out program of daily maid service which I generally use. However, my mother insisted on the daily cleaning of our room. I want to give a shout out for the maid service as well for being accommodating to her needs. The front desk was always helpful with any questions. I even had one of the staff drop what they were doing to go upstairs to take some utensils to my mother as I was heading out. She said the staff always ran over to open the doors for her as she did go out several times a day to go outside to get some air and enjoy the weather. I think she will remember this trip forever as being special and how wonderful the staff treated her. All I can say is thank you for making her stay so special and taking such great care of her during the day while I was away.

This hotel, like all the Hilton Garden Inns that we stay at is consistently clean. They have connecting rooms, which makes it much easier for our family to stay together while still having not too many people over load one bathroom. It is very convenient to Disneyland, so we were able to drop off our teenage daughters at Disneyland, and my wife and I were able to finally have some alone time for some nice meals and relaxation. The rooms have refrigerator, microwave, coffee makers, and irons. This makes the whole experience very user-friendly. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom , so I did not have to secretly raid the chambermaids supply cart.

We have stayed at this property previously and it has always been a "safe bet" when visiting the area. Not now.

We checked in and were told there is no food service, the pool is open by reservation only, and quite frankly all of that is understandable given the pandemic. However, after two days of not having our room serviced we called the front desk only to be told that for guests staying three days or more we need to specifically request to have our rooms cleaned. I have never experienced this before: ever.

What I am annoyed about is that they were allowed to accept the reservation and not tell us about the limitations prior to our arrival. Quite frankly had we known we would have canceled and booked another property. It seems like a failing on the part of Hilton to enforce standards and on the local management it appears to be n nothing but a money grab; don't tell guests about the problems until they arrive and maybe they'll just say O.K. and stay.

After being a Hilton Honors member for twenty-plus years this is hands down my worst Hilton experience.

As a final indignity, our bathroom sink would not drain and when we mentioned it to the front desk they did fix it, but no one cleaned up the mess afterward. See the photo...

Hilton Garden Inn is one of my favorite brands of all the Hilton properties. This one however needs a lot of improvement in the food and beverage area. I came in my first night relatively late and had not eaten all day so I decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. Mind you I spared no expense and I ordered the ribeye steak medium. When it arrive it came chargrilled and with absolutely no pink it was the consistency of a hockey puck. I was so hungry that I suffered through it and just asked for additional salad because the salad was better than the rest of the meal. They did this take the steak off of my meal as it was not cooked correctly and the manager did try everything they could to rectify the situation. In addition I ordered the wine that they were out of on the menu and they tried to serve me red wine that was over two weeks old. Gave me a hard time when I refused and ask them to open a new bottle. The second night I stop by the bar simply to grab a drink on the way to my room. The bartender saw me wave at some fellow people and assumed I was with them so said that I needed to order with them with the different waiter and not with him. I looked at him and dismay as he embarrassed me by assuming I was with a party that I was not invited to. I was utterly embarrassed and went running out of the bar and looked at his name tag and he said yes my name is Carlos. The clear and utter disrespect is astonishing. One of my staff members had treated just like that I would’ve fired him on the spot. The manager just stood there and watched. I really do hope that the GM will take these comments under consideration and work to improve.

We have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and have never experienced such horrible service. The electricity was out when we arrived so we had to walk up 5 flights of stairs to our room. We stayed for an entire week and only had our room made up once and they didn't even empty the trash or replace coffee cups, cream, or bath products. As Hilton Gold members we expect more. The only person who actual gives a fig is a young woman named Sam. Every other person we spoke with was extremely rude. Bennie was the most rude person I've ever encountered at a Hilton. As other posters have stated, this hotel does not notify guests prior to their arrival that the services are ZERO yet they charge the full rate.

We were absolutely blown away with the incredible experience we had with Hilton Garden Inn Anaheim. Stewart Arevalo took excellent care of us! We arrived about 10am assuming we would leave our bags until the 3:00 check in. Stewart was able to get us our room early and were able to rest in our room before going to Disneyland. We also were celebrating 3 bdays on this trip and there was an amazing gift basket with balloons, candy and mickey ear headbands for each birthday kid. Our kids were thrilled!! Breakfast was included in our Disney vacation package and the breakfast staff were very accommodating. They had our food ready quickly and even offered to go containers on the mornings we were in a hurry to get to the parks. We were even given a drink carrying case to carry our juices. All of the breakfast tasted great.
We go to Disneyland once per year and usually stay at a different hotel but after this amazing experience we will be coming back to this hotel for our yearly vacations! Thank you to all of the staff!!

The close proximity to Disneyland is great. Their buffet-style breakfast options are perfect. There’s cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit which is great for the little ones. The rooms have a mini fridge and microwave which is awesome if you’re bringing kids and their snacks. For the price, this was a great option.

At the strong recommendation of the H Honors program I had applied and received the keyless check in. The room away from the very noise Harbor Blvd. On arrival did they not honor the keyless check in and I had to physically check in. They gave me a room just facing Harbor Blvd. The shower/bath tub had blood looking stains but I was told that it was Ok as it was only RUST. “The tub is rusted.” When I brought up both the noise and the rust I was not offered a room similar to the one I had reserved. A self served beer costs $8.00 and a small ice cream cone $4.00. This is not the Astoria in New York or the Eiffel Tower in Paris or Disneyland. The fro t desk people are very pleasant and kind. I believe the management needs some “repairing.”
