This hotel is amazing. While our room was a bit dated and worn (and now currently all rooms are being refurbished) the service provided by everyone we encountered at this hotel makes it a 5 star!!!! I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and never have I had everyone that works there making customer service a #1 priority. I am talking from the front desk, to the breakfast area, to the gentleman who seem to always be cleaning the carpets (so clean all the time), the shuttle, local recommendations, the pool area with the basketball court, ping pong table and comfortable chairs and tables. The breakfast options were one of the best included breakfast I have ever encountered. We stayed at a hotel in a brand new hotel in LA for a few days after that could certainly use a few pointers from the staff here! Upon arrival I had groceries delivered. They had them already put in our room so we did not have to lug them up. I needed sour cream for a dinner we had delivered bc it was forgotten and they got me some from the kitchen area. Needed a cup for some hot chocolate and so on. They were spot on for everything.

Best free breakfast ever. They have scrambled eggs and bacon very early so your entire family can eat before the park. They have coffee and water all day. The pool and jacuzzi are very relaxing. The pool is heated and we swam in January. It's a little further than I normally stay from the park but worth it because of the accommodations. The shuttle is 6 bucks a person so if theres several of you, it's worth just paying for parking at the big structure.
My room was huge and had a full kitchen, so we brought food up too. they have a great store filled with Disneyland souvenirs at great prices.
The front desk workers are very nice. The maintenance people are friendly. We lost track of time in the jacuzzi and they were very nice about letting us know.
They were tons of families staying there too. I will definitely stay here again

We have stayed here before and it was in better.condition. But they are going to remodel shortly after we stayed there. The rates were great and free breakfast is always a plus. They also have a shuttle you can take at the front of the hotel for $6.00 for adults and it takes you to Disneyland and back it leaves every 30 min. We used it and it was very convenient. Our room was the 2 bedroom suite and had a view of the fireworks from our windows. The only complaint I have is that our room was right on the end by the road and even with ear plugs I could here the motorcycles reving up. We will definitely stay here again especially since they are remodeling.

The hotel service is top notch. The lobby is always clean or being cleaned which definitely shows how serious they take this pandemic. They treat the elevators the same way. The staff is super friendly they always cheer up my mornings with a nice greeting and they always make me feel better coming in with a warm welcome. Housekeeping has a superb work ethic they have yet to dwindle in their services. Maria B. makes an extra effort to get to know the hotel regulars and she’s always ready to attend to your breakfast needs. Thank you so much for helping health care workers during this great pandemic!

I made a reservation for a very specific room type at this hotel at least a month in advance. When I arrived late at night to check in I was told that my room had been downgraded due to overbooking. The new room was not going to comfortably accommodate my group of four (they really expected me, an 200 lb, 6’1” man, and my girlfriend to sleep in separate twin beds).

First of all, I stay at Marriott hotels because I expect the premium price I pay to reflect a higher level of service and competence than a Best Western. Second, they did not even have the courtesy to call to let me know they were downgrading my room, which would have given me time to change my plans before I arrived. Instead I was scrambling at the hotel at midnight trying to find other accommodations. Ultimately we left this hotel and went to another. I didn’t get into a room until 1 am at a Sheraton, and it totally threw off my group’s night and the next day.

Even though I went to another hotel, I was still charged for the room at this Residence Inn that I did not end up saying at. I’ve elevated the issue to corporate (pending matter) and I’m hoping they can make it right.

If you’re going to stay here, I would recommend calling the hotel before you arrive to make sure that they didn’t move you into a broom closet. Absolutely ridiculous advice to be giving for a Marriott, but please really do proceed with caution.

My wife and I brought our eleven year old daughter to Disneyland for her Spring Break. We used a travel agent to book us three days in Disneyland with Disney Genie+ service along with a four night (4th night free with 3 nights booked) stay at this hotel as a Friend of Disney.

The hotel was in decent shape, but definitely showing some signs of wear on the exterior and interior. Our room was a nice size, a king suite with a separate bedroom/bathroom for our daughter, and had a kitchen with fridge, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. The dishes were NOT clean, so they all got a thorough cleaning before use. The bathrooms were a bit worn - our tub had some stains, and our ensuite sink drained very...slowly. We had requested room servicing every other day, and our second room servicing was not done - we had a weird interaction with the cleaning lady at 5:27PM asking if our room had been cleaned that day, and when we asked for the room to be cleaned, she declined and said that she was off in three minutes.

There was a breakfast included with the package, and this was a nice perk. The breakfast area was busy all four mornings of our stay, and had a decent variety of cold (cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc.) and hot options (scrambled eggs, pancakes, toast, sausages, skillets, or chorizo/tortillas), three waffle stations, two juice bar stations, and coffee/tea.

The front desk staff were very helpful with tips on getting to Disneyland via Anaheim Rapid Transit (ART). Daily passes were $6 per day for each of us, easily accessible on South Harbor Bvld out front of the hotel (#3), or by walking over to the Hilton Garden Inn just to the north. There were a number of restaurant options within easy walking distance of the hotel within half a block, and we went to the Outback Steakhouse, La Casa Garcia, and Masala Craft on three of our nights for dinner.

Overall, the hotel was a positive part of our Spring Break surprise for our daughter, but definitely not a clean and polished experience.

My family very much enjoyed our stay at the Rez Inn Anaheim Garden Grove. We came to California go to Knotts Berry Farm. While this Rez Inn is not the closest to Knotts, the accommodating staff, the bedroom configuration (family 2 bedroom with 2 queens in one room and a king in the other, 2 bathrooms) made it a comfortable set up for our family. Susan, who I believe is a front desk manager, was amazing at getting us set up ahead of time. She was in touch with the GM, who was very accommodating.
The kiddie pool was enjoyed by our littlest, the regular heated pool by the rest of my kids.
The breakfast variety was terrifc. They have three waffle makers going, and space indoors and out to eat. Ana, a kitchen attendant, spent a lot of time with me, going over what was and wasn't within our dietary restrictions, and it was very much appreciated.
While they weren't able to bring us an additional table to eat by (and chairs), we definitely managed and it was not a major deal. They also don't provide a cleaning service daily, but most hotels don't nowadays.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making our stay a memorable one! :)

The hotel was very clean, newly renovated in 2020. The customer service was exceptional. Each person helping us from checkin, to changing to different rooms to accommodate our family, to food service was excellent. Lea, Susan, and Stephanie were the best. Breakfast had a good spread of hot and cold foods. We had scrambled eggs, sausages, breakfast potatoes, fresh fruits, breads, croissants, cereal, oatmeal. There was something for everyone. The eating area was cleaned regularly and the food was replenished really fast. The location was great. There was plenty of parking. I plan to stay here next time I visit Garden Grove. We went to Little Saigon, Christ Cathedral, Long Beach, Covina. The location was convenient for us. It was close to many entertainment , and restaurants. We felt very at home here due to the excellent service we received. We felt pretty safe in this area.
Thank you!

I cannot say enough about Susan and the entire staff at this hotel. Their customer service is beyond outstanding!! Our flights in and out were at really awkward times, and our room was ready to go when we arrived really early and we were also given a nice upgrade. They have a free hot breakfast buffet every morning which is such a money saver. It does get crowded in the morning before everyone leaves for the park, but nothing unmanageable. The rooms are super clean and nice, and well equipped with what you need. The short walk to the bus to the park was easy and convenient, arriving every 30 mins. The pool area is really nice and they hot tub is huge! If you want a great place to stay close to the park, and in walking distance of great restaurants - stay at this property. Most important, they will go out of their way to make your stay easy and amazing! I will not stay at any other property for our next Disney vacation. Quick tip- if you don’t have a rental car- Amazon fresh can deliver your groceries right to your room!

Our family has been to this hotel twice this year, we are continually impressed by the staff and the professionalism of the team.

This property is what we would call near-ish Disneyland. It is far enough that we still drive and park at Disneyland for the day, however, if you are keen there is an effective public transit station immediately outside the hotel that will take you directly to the parks. It is walkable, though a really long one.

You simply cant ask for a better value at this price point. The hotel is clean, the amenities are well stocked, and anything you might need is immediately available by asking the front desk staff for assistance. Breakfast is what you would expect from a suite style continental, and laundry facilities are generous.

My advice to all ... recognize this is an upper level value hotel. It is very VERY good in its price point. If you are expecting brand new finishes, glossy furnishings, and flawless perfection, I would recommend a property down the block for easily 5x the price. Unfortunately, I have watched far too many folks complaining at the front desk for features that are wholly outside this price. Look ... the same residence inn brand in (which is far newer and prettier) a few blocks closer to the park is 1000 a night, compared to here at 250.

So my point is this, please don't book this hotel if you have expectations for a 5* resort. However, If you are looking for a great value, a great staff, and are willing to tolerate a few hiccups here and there, you wont find a better bargain in the area!
