Far from downtown. Very expensive parking and resort fee.

I booked with a third party and was told the resort fee would be $26. This, while they also claimed the hotel had "free" internet , etc., which, of course was not free. It was part of the resort fee, which is $38.50 with tax. Parking is $31, which was expected, but I was disappointed when I found out that there was no short-term parking at all. So when I expected to have friends over for drinks before we went out to dinner in town, that wasn't practical, as they'd each have to pay $31 to park for a couple of hours. And since this resort is several miles out of town, you're not going to be walking to any of the attractions. It's a pretty spot, for sure, and the rooms are very nice. It was just a waste of money for what I was expecting to be able to do.

I just returned from a long weekend and I can’t say enough about the outstanding service provided by everyone we met. From our server Andrea C to Jessica one of the bartenders to Elizabeth the concierge -everything was top notch. Of course the property and location were beautiful. I would gladly return to this property tomorrow

While we stayed for just a night? The staff and service was superb - BAR NONE as they say! "The Landing" Restaurant was outstanding in every conceivable way from table layout, views, service AND FOOD. The VIEWS at this place of all including marina's and over to the Mexican border were spectacular. The outdoor areaS were magnificent in every respect with pools, umbrellas and stellar seating arrangements. Our room was outstanding - clean, comfortable (-though my bed a bit worn I suspect, all else really did more than compensate...)

Much more than expected.

Booked a single night here at Loew’s Coronado and mentioned in the booking that it is for my fiancé’s birthday. I had forgot that I wrote that but when we arrived to check in they said happy birthday to her and they automatically upgraded our room to an amazing bay view. Later that evening they surprised us with champagne on ice, a card and chocolate covered strawberries. The room is great, large and comfortable and every single staff member has been courteous or better. It was an expensive stay for one night but well worth it. The manager, Michelle Pareja made this all possible for us and I thank her for it. My fiancé felt that it was a very special experience.

Really nice stay

Our trip at the Loews Coronado was relaxing, quiet and peaceful. The grounds and location is just beautiful! The staff was friendly and warm and the rooms were clean. We will definitely come back again during a warmer season.

Considering to stay here for my 1 yr wedding anniversary. What kind of activities are nearby or are there entertainment/activities at the resort? DO you have spa treatments available as well? Trying to get a nice getaway with relaxation but we like adventure too.

They have spin classes and lots of activities poolside. Highly recommend this for a romantic getaway!

Hello! We are headed to Coronado to stay at the Loews this Sunday. I know it’s June gloom time, and the forecast looks like highs of 69-70 degrees. Is that warm enough to swim? What type of clothes should we pack? Thanks!

It was the same whilst we were there but most days at least for some of the time it was warm enough in the pool. It was chilly some evenings so pack some warmer clothes and a water proof light weight jacket. Hope that helps David

Not an all inclusive resort. One great restaurant but food and beverage needs to be paid as served.
