Facilities were good, great Onsen facilities (I wish there were not closed between 9am - 1pm) where you can regenerate and relax. Ski rentals onsite with good service, reasonable gear. Very good morning buffet breakfast, great pastry with bakery onsite and good selection. A library to wait and relax and a cafe with good coffee and also some food. Shop onsite to get some munchies. Coin operated laundry. Bus stop outside on front steps. Great facilities.
Service was very good, very helpful front desk where you can buy your ski passes and organise everything. Very friendly staff.
Rooms were fine, ok in terms of space and bathroom. I mean. mot people here go out and ski and rooms are there to sleep :) Good beds and had good night sleep. The rooms are either on the parking side (front) which has uninspiring view and on forest side (back) where the view is amazing. Get the rooms facing the back of the hotel if you can!.
Skiing was great, despite the An'nupuri being the smallest of the skiing areas, we found that it had everything to offer, from greens to good reds and off-piste powder.
The bus that goes to other resorts comes only once an hour and is usually full, it's not easy nor fast to travel for dinner to other resorts like Hirafu. That is a disadvantage as there aren't many other places to eat close by. All need booking as they get full, that is a big disadvantage if you are after some night life, you're not getting it here.
Overall, I was very very happy to spend the 6 days here, prices were very reasonable and I would recommend it.
We had breakfast twice and dinner once and it was very good.
The steak was especially delicious and the whole family had it many times.
The breakfast bread was served freshly baked and warm and crisp, and it was great to eat any of them.
The bath was not so hot, so I took a morning bath and an evening bath.
The outdoor bath while watching the snow was really good.
It is pisteside, so you can rent it and go straight to the slopes, and the location is very good.
The entire hotel is renovated and beautiful, and the kiosks are also well stocked with food and drink, souvenirs, and skiing equipment.
It was amazing to see the city, beautiful scenery and Aurora in my own eyes, and I really enjoyed it.
Thank you very much.
From the skier's perspective, you can't really beat it.
Ski lockers are perfect, everything dry out nicely overnight.
You ski down to gondola and chair lift right from the ski room (very European set up). Buy your ski pass on-line and pick it up at gondola.
And you can be up first on the best powder slopes in Niseko without much of a hassle.
Night skiing is just out of the ski room too.
For those who need to rent gear, there is a large rental right in the hotel. And it looks like they have a large selection.
Onsen is great, very clean, and functional.
Bar is very nicely appointed. The only complaint is that it is odd that it's closed from 5 to 6pm. I guess it has to do with the staff shortages after Covid. I think they need to open it later (not at 2pm) and keep it open.
Food is plentiful (buffet), and could get a bit monotonous if you stay for a couple of weeks, but you can always go out, there are a few options in Annupuri and the Niseko bus stops in front of the hotel.
Rooms are small but totally ok - you can store all bulky items and suitcases at their storage next to ski locker. Yes they may need a bit of an upgrade, but seriously they are completely fine and the sleep quality is good.
Will be back for sure, and perhaps we should keep it a secret since the number of tourists in Niseko has exploded since we first came here more than 10 years ago!
The room was spacious and comfortable, perhaps the hotel to improve on the timing for room cleaning service, especially for guests staying more than a week and expecting the room to be clean when we are out.
The hotel has its own mini-mart, which help you to get some junk food and accessory for skier/snowboarder - a bit pricey but it's expected in the Niseko area anyway. The other downside is the hotel location is far from other convenience stores and restaurants (affordable where u can easily access in Hirafu) so it makes you book a room with breakfast and dinner.

The Asian foreign trainee staff seemed to have a hard time serving customers, but the Japanese staff were polite.
Breakfast and dinner were also pretty tasty. The breakfast croissants seem to be popular, but I think freshly baked ones are recommended.
We checked in early so we were able to relax in the hot spring, but it may be a little small considering the number of guests, and the open-air bath was not particularly charming.

Especially the steak. Not at buffet level.
The sweet shrimp was also good...
Even though it was in season, the restaurant didn't feel crowded.
The bread at breakfast was delicious.
I personally didn't think the open-air bath was very aesthetically pleasing, but my wife loved it.
I wish it was a little bigger. It was too full for four people.
It was a relatively quiet hotel, and you could feel the local atmosphere.

The room was spacious enough, and we had the bath to ourselves, so we were able to relax.
It's a low-rise building, so it's wide, but we didn't feel it was particularly inconvenient.
We skipped the dinner buffet and went out to eat in our car. We had booked a shuttle for the return trip, so we were able to get back smoothly.
The breakfast buffet was also delicious.

and if the upper lift closes, you can not access to village, hirafu. we missed bus from airport to niseko area because of flight delay so we had to rent a car. thats why we could drive to village.
hotel was ok. but not luxually type. felt kinda over paied.
they have a restaurant lounge which is used for breakfast too. there is no bars and izakaya near here. i recommend go out to hirafu or village, kucchan.
honestly i would choose other hotel next time.
PROS
- Optimal for skiing - literally sitting at the base of the Annupuri slope. You can ski directly from the slope into the side door and your hotel (ski-in ski out) if you no longer want to ski or need a break. Inside this area are free lockers (code enabled) and shop with ski hire and ski school reception.
- Breakfast buffet included, which is delicious and knocks money off the room
- Rooms were large, clean, comfortable with a higher end feel to them
- Staff were friendly and helpful
- Provided a drop off for free to JR station, although did not respond to pick up request via email.
- Nice facilities inside the hotel including ski areas (as above), a bar, library, onsen.
- Reasonably priced for a higher end place
CONS
-To my eyes this appeared to be one of the only accommodation options in Annupuri and as such there wasn’t a great deal of restaurants or nightlife proliferating around the area. Therefore at night to eat somewhere you would have to either eat at the restaurant in the hotel (not cheap) or pay for cabs to niseko village (not cheap, at least 2500 each way). Shuttle buses are an option but are unreliable, coming only hourly and ceasing after a certain time. We ended up eating at the bar most nights. This wasn’t a big deal to me as we were more focused on skiing and were only there for 3 days but I feel for others wanting more of a nightlife (either drinking or restaurants) maybe hirafu is a better option as this place is a bit quiet.
- Wifi only available in the bar and this was very inconvenient and surprising that they didn’t get modems so it could reach the rooms
- This slope is the shortest of the 4 and has mainly slopes for beginners and intermittent individuals with minimal angles. You can access the others either via the shuttle bus or by crossing at the top of the mountain.
CONCLUSION
It really depends on what you are coming to Niseko for. If it is predominantly skiing over a short term period this place provides ideal value and is highly recommended. However if you would like also a slice of the nightlife or are staying a bit longer than a week perhaps you might be best booking a place in Hifaru or the village that provides more options at night.
