Wonderful stay at Intuition.
We booked our Niseko ski holiday for a week to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.
From the moment we were picked up we were greeted with the friendliest smiles and Happy Anniversary wishes.
The staff at Intuition are exceptional and definitely need to be congratulated for providing 5 star services, nothing was a bother front desk , conceirge, restaurant and cleaning staff all delivered amazing service
The hotel is nicely located approx 400mts to the nearest lift which is walkable although a concierge pick up drop off service is available need to pre book .
The ski lockers are easily located at the foyer so a breeze to pack all your ski gear away , with heated boot & helmet dryers in each locker
The rooms are beautifully furnished, comfy beds nice mountain views we stayed in a 1 bedroom deluxe apartment perfect for a couple . Seperate bedroom full kitchen and laundry so easy to cater for eating in options
The Onsen is perfect after a big day on the slopes with both inside/ outside baths all bath products are high quality and provided .
A lovely welcome pack of facial beauty items also provided.
Breakfast was buffet style with a mix of Japanese and Western options all delicious with new options daily .This was included in the room rate which definitely is a bonus
We would definitely return to Intutition and highly recommend. Thank you everyone for a perfect holiday and Anniversary celebration.

A stunning hotel with well sized family apartments, each bedroom had its own ensuite and the apartment had well appointed kitchen facilities. Beautifully situated on the outskirts of town very close to the Family run chairlift. Vehicle available to run to the other Niseko chairlifts or gondola and restaurants, but it is so close you can also walk. Well appointed hotel with a beautiful indoor outdoor onset. Delicious breakfast buffet included. Staff were excellent particularly Lily, Chris and driver Hector.. Intuition had an excellent ski room also with heated cabinets to dry out your gear each time. Snow-covered walk to and from the village and plenty of room for the family in our apartment … would highly recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed at Intuition for a week in Jan and had such a lovely experience. It’s a perfect location very close easy walking distance to a nearby chairlift for skiing, as well as all the shops and restaurants in Niseko. The hotel has a very convenient private transfer service available around Niseko that was always free whenever we called for it. The rooms are stunning and fit out with everything you’d need. The breakfast was great, the ski lockers very useful and the Onsen was amazing. The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful - shoutout to Louis from Maroubra for giving us all the greatest tips and being a very helpful transfer driver!

All in all - highly recommend !

We booked a stay for a week in Intuition to go skiing in Niseko.
We ended up having a room with serious soundproofing issues and we had to ask the staff every day what they are going to do about it and we never got an actual answer. Only after 4 days of constantly complaining about the noise and demanding actions from the staff we got transferred to another hotel and downgraded room.
Otherwise the hotel is super nice and the rooms are spacious and modern. Outdoor onsen is also fabulous. The hotel has a shuttle service to King and Ace gongolas, not further, which seemed a little strange. We had one dinner at the hotel restaurant, where a table must be booked 2 days in advance and I must say it’s ovepriced, but so are many other restaurants too in Niseko and we really enjoyed the food.
All in all the staff in the hotel seemed a little arrogant towards our problems regarding the soundproofing issue and we didnt feel like they were trying their best to fix it. Also the transfer with all our ski gear to downgraded room was not what we paid for and no refund was ever offered by the hotel.

Dear AtteN20, Thank you for sharing your experience at Intuition Niseko. We truly appreciate your feedback and regret that your stay did not fully meet your expectations due to soundproofing concerns. We sincerely apologize for any frustration you experienced while seeking a resolution. While we always strive to provide a seamless and comfortable stay, we regret that we did not effectively communicate our efforts to address your concerns and explore alternative accommodations. Your feedback has been noted, and we will work with our team to enhance responsiveness and problem resolution for future guests. We understand that moving to a different property meant a change in facilities. While we always seek guest acknowledgment before any relocation, we regret that the experience felt like a downgrade. However, the alternative property provided was an upgrade, offering more extensive facilities within the unit. On a positive note, we’re delighted that you enjoyed our modern rooms, outdoor onsen, and dining experience. Your comments regarding the restaurant reservation system and pricing are also valuable, and we will take them into consideration. Once again, we apologize for any shortcomings and truly appreciate your honest feedback. We hope to welcome you back in the future for a more seamless and enjoyable stay. Kind regards, Intuition Niseko Team

The staff was wonderful and they really try to help me meet all my needs. For most part, Nisade (property mgmt) was very good. Stayed 4 days and I really wanted to like it, but quite a few issues with the property:

my single room was connected via a locked door to the neighboring - bedroom, but the door didn't stop the sound and I could literally hear every little word they said next door. the gap between the door and doorframe/floor was too large to fix. thank god the staff let me change rooms to a studio, not connected to any other room.

The heater made a loud buzzing sound, like a muted blender, about every 10-20 mins for a few minutes. they couldn't pin point the source and I didn't want to bother with it, but its loud enough to hear when I recorded it.

heater blows directly on my head while sleeping, so I had to turn it off at night. yes, even after I adjusted the vents, it still hits my head.

breakfast was disappointing. I just come from a week at Chalet Ivy with excellent breakfast buffet, so it was def a letdown. Ate one "Japanese" breakfast and didnt do breakfast there again. I hope they get better food.

Suggest putting scraper/brush outside of ski storage so we can brush snow off the equipment and boots.

The complementary bus is very crowded. not pleasant. The staff ended up drive me up to the lift in their van.

Again, the staff like Ruby, Reo and the manager made the stay welcoming which compensated for the otherwise poor experience.

Ladies who lunch! Avoid this hotel, and Niseko in general, if you’re looking for a world class family ski resort with healthy food options. This hotel advertises itself as having a restaurant but this is missing the point that if you’re a lady who lunches you’ll find nothing in this hotel or resort. They are open for breakfast - great for the kids. No lunch. Dinner is a whole set menu affair that is suitable for no one who’s been skiing all day with kids and wanted a big lunch and a light supper and bed. For lunch, good luck! Most places have the most cheap and awful commercial food. Imagine Ramen with pork (vomit), fried chicken, awful pizza, not fresh sushi. No spa, no pedicures, not even vegetables available in the supermarket!! I’m not exaggerating. In three supermarkets the only single vegetable we could find was cabbage. This hotel has zero to do if you’re not a skier and its supposed position, nestled in a forest, is actually on a main road. AVOID. This resort is for young people who don’t care about their gut microbiome and don’t want any luxuries. Stick to France and Switzerland.

Dear Sally, How are you? We’re sorry to hear that your time in Niseko wasn’t what you had hoped for. It is indeed very different from the likes of Verbier or Coucheval, if that is what you're used to.  Niseko however is sought after for its amazing jaPOW, it has the finest powder snow in the world! And people come from all over to experience it. But the trade off there is that it does snow a lot more vs the bluebird days you have in Europe. It is also much colder, hence we don't have such a big après ski scene.  That said, we have to stand up for some of Japan’s culinary treasures—ramen with pork (chashu) is a beloved delicacy, and fried chicken (karaage) is practically a national treasure. It is Japan, so unfortunately you won't find fondue here if that is your preference. While we understand they may not be to everyone’s taste, they are staples in Hokkaido’s food scene, alongside an abundance of fresh seafood, dairy, soup curries, and, yes, even vegetables! We promise, more than just cabbage—though we understand our team drove you to the supermarkets which had an array of root vegetables but that it was not to your liking. In regards to spas, we don't have one on site but we do have an amazing indoor and outdoor onsen which is excellent after a day up in the mountains. While it’s true that the town isn’t modelled after European resorts with long lunches and spa afternoons, its charm lies in the incredible snow, Japanese hospitality, and unique experiences that set it apart from France and Switzerland. We appreciate your feedback and hope that if you ever return, you might give Niseko another shot—perhaps with a warm bowl of ramen in hand! Best regards, Stephanie Chai CEO

This was our second family ski vacation at Intuition. Compared to the first opening season in 2022, the management team has put efforts and thoughts improving various details of the property, for example the ventilation of the corridor, ability to open the windows, heating of the pavement outside the building, heating of boots and helmets inside the lockers, and the excellent conditions of all appliances. Breakfast was carefully curated, healthy and tasty. The hardware side of the experience was spotless. But above all else, it was the staff and the service that stood out. This year James, the “encyclopedia of Niseko”, led a team of young, energetic and friendly staff. We stayed 17 nights in total, during which there was hardly any issue or problem at all. No news was good news. Special thanks to Ollie, Loui, Rachel, Nideesh, Thomas and Josh for driving us around. And shout out to Ollie for his quick thinking and reaction that saved the ice fishing day. Special appreciations to Chris, Joanne, Lily, Anna, Rose, Tristan, Minato and Iori at concierge and front desks that handled every request patiently and effectively. As both owner and guest, I am delighted to witness Intuition Niseko growing into an epitome of understated luxurious experience and a desired destination in Niseko.

A true gem for the perfect ski holiday!!
A quiet location but minutes from restaurants and ski lifts. Modern, spacious and very comfortable.

Warming ski lockers and a wonderful indoor/outdoor onsen to soothe sore muscles at the end of the day.

The breakfast was healthy and delicious but it was the staff that took it to the next level!!

Available and helpful for anything from a restaurant booking or ski lesson info .. thank you Lily, you’re Fantastic!!. They arranged transport wherever we needed to go, thank you Ollie and Ladesh for your bright selves and good humour … provided sleds for the kids to play with (thanks Rose) and when we left our phone in the transfer to the airport Chris, the Ultimate in concierge!!! , managed to find the driver and get it to us before our flight.

We’ve had a great holiday. Thank you for everything!!

More like an apartment with kitchen and utensils for cooking yourself. Large room with washing machines. We are a family of four and had a two bedroom apartment. Plenty of space for four of us. Staffs were very nice and helpful. Has a onsen on the ground floor where there are indoor and outdoor options. Not a ski in/ski out but only a 100m walk to the family lift. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Dinner was excellent.

Three reasons I gave it a four stars instead of five are: the hotel, the hallway and the apartment were constantly too hot. The heat was too hot. No matter how we set the temperature in the apartment, it was still hot. Secondly, the walkway entering the hotel from the driveway was slippery. I slipped right in front of the hotel when turning in from the driveway and hurt my elbow and hand. Thirdly, the metal door leading to the outdoor onsen in the onsen area has a sharp lower edge and corner. If not careful and standing too close to the door, the corner could easily cut one’s toes.

And it was definitely pricey.
