For over a century The Beverly Hills Hotel has been the chosen place for Hollywood's brightest lights. She greets you like a movie star from the moment you step onto the red carpet and enter the grand lobby. Fondly nicknamed the 'Pink Palace', the hotel's 12-acre gardens and famous pool offer an experience that shimmers with history and glamour. Spacious suites pay homage to the legacy, while bungalows offer the true Hollywood experience inspired by their famous guests. No restaurant conjures the magic of Hollywood quite like The Polo Lounge. This sought-after spot has long been the favourite of LA stars and deal-makers. For casual dining, discover The Fountain Coffee Room or relax poolside at The Cabana Cafe. For other memorable moments, be relaxed or revitalised at the spa.

Detailed Reviews
The Beverly Hills remains one of my favorite hotels in the US with a singular sense of place and history that’s second to none—no other property in Los Angeles/Beverly Hills feels quite as special. Service is consistent, courteous, and warm and the concierge, Jess in particular, is a wonderful asset to their guest services team. Meals at the Polo Lounge and Cabana Cafe, albeit pricey, were top notch with breakfasts being a real standout. The pool attendants could not be more friendly and will happily go out of their way to ensure afternoons by the pool are relaxing and comfortable. Housekeeping is prompt and extra points are always warranted when preferences from prior stays are noted and executed in subsequent stays as was the case during this trip.
Notwithstanding the 5 star review, there were unfortunately a few criticisms I would hope to see remedied upon return visits. We booked 2 Deluxe King rooms, and while both were spotlessly clean, I found that the room facing the gardens to be in far better condition than the room facing Crescent Drive. The carpeting throughout the Crescent side room was worn and appeared stained in several large spots, draperies had some clearly visible stains, and the room’s other case goods all showed a fair amount of wear and tear. That said, the bed was still supremely comfortable and the Frette towels and sheets were as luxurious as ever. The condition of the room was certainly not so bad as to negatively impact my stay, but I would definitely request something facing the gardens in the future—the garden facing rooms are larger, too! Another negative, and perhaps a casualty of covid cutbacks, were the loss of small touches previously enjoyed during earlier stays. For example, housekeeping no longer provides glass cleaning cloths when they see a pair of glasses on the nightstand or tidy up loose charging cords with branded cord ties. These simple amenities are the types of things that set luxury hotels apart from others and it’s a shame to see The Beverly Hills has opted to no longer provide them. Given that room rates remain comparable to pre-pandemic prices, I’m hoping these are just temporary losses.
Overall, my family and I had a wonderful stay and the hotel provides an excellent environment to relax and escape the stresses of the pandemic with comfortable and spacious rooms, great service, and beautiful outdoor spaces. I look forward to returning soon.

Dear MrMBenz1, Thank you for taking the time to write such a detail review of your recent visit. I am happy to hear you had a wonderful stay and that we are one of your favorite hotels in the US. Thank you for your feedback regarding the carpet, please know we are currently in the process or recarpeting all of these rooms. And I apologize you were not provided a cleaning cloth for your glasses and a cord tie, this was a human error on our side as we do offer these amenities still. I will follow up with the team to find out what happened here. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. We always enjoy welcoming your family back to the hotel and look forward to your next visit. Warm regards, Edward Mady General Manager

As you can see by my numerous reviews, I have stayed at many 5 star luxury resorts around the world, and I can say without a doubt that The Beverly Hills Hotel gave the best service I have reviewed anywhere.
Naturally, I was concerned about traveling from North Carolina to Los Angeles during the corona virus pandemic, but we took the splurge for our 25th wedding anniversary which also happens to be my husband's birthday. The outstanding service started immediately upon booking with a personal note from Dino, the Guest Relations Manager, asking for our requests and preferences regarding our stay. (which were all met and exceeded)
We were originally booked for a 4 night stay, but because of airplane engine issues, our arrival was much delayed, but the hotel graciously only charged us for the 3 nights we were able to stay.
On arrival we were greeted by name and escorted up that glorious red carpet into the lobby where we were delightfully upgraded to a larger room! Also, in our room, we found champagne on ice, fresh fruit, and custom made chocolates of every kind imaginable!
The cheerful concierges (Mitchell, Jesse, Brian) assisted us with every detail of our stay including making our dinner reservations and local hiking, sightseeing recommendations.
We enjoyed breakfast in our room every morning and let me say it was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
We also enjoyed lunch at the Cabana Cafe and dinner at the Polo Club (both outdoor dining) (the servers all wore face masks in addition to full face shields).
We felt pampered the entire stay and cannot say enough about how kind every single employee we encountered was.
As far as covid-safe, every employee wore face masks and the hotel did a great job social distancing all the guests.
The property - oh the grounds were Gorgeous!!! So lush and green and so many flowers in bloom! An oasis in the city. A joy to see the landscaping and smell the fresh, verdant, tropical scents.
We were treated to a fascinating personal tour of the property including stories of all the illustrious guests that have stayed there.
It was honestly refreshing to receive this level of service in the United States, where I personally feel that it is severely lacking these days.
Thank you so much to every single member of staff for an experience that well exceeded our expectations. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

We have been staying at The Beverly Hills Hotel for years, and there's a reason: it's our favorite place. Sure, we love the shopping and restaurants in the Beverly Hills area, but the biggest attraction, to us, is The Beverly Hills Hotel.
Guests are greeted warmly by the valet/bellstaff and reception desk upon arrival, and the excellent service continues throughout the stay.
The hotel is beautiful...the lobby, all common areas, the restaurants, the rooms and suites, the pool...but what really makes this hotel special? The people who work there. They have lots of loyal employees who love what they do, and it is always clear to me that they love where they work. That feeling is infectious...it makes the guests love it too! The staff anticipates the needs of the guests, and they greet guests warmly at every turn.
We have stayed in different types of rooms all over the hotel, and every room has been immensely comfortable and quiet. I must have great air conditioning to sleep well, and I always sleep better at The Beverly Hills Hotel that I do at home! The beds are comfortable, and while the rooms are luxurious, they are comfortable at the same time. The bathrooms are different in every room, but the shower pressure is always excellent, and the bath amenities are great too.
The dining options are varied and great. We love The Polo Lounge. Each section has its own allure. The bar is fun for people watching. The main dining room is great for relaxing, and the patio is just exquisitely beautiful. The Fountain Coffee Shop is great for casual dining in a more relaxed atmosphere, and you never know when you'll be sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with someone you've admired on television, in a movie, or on stage! And the Cabana Cafe is great for al fresco dining by the pool. We have found the service is exceptional at each, and the food offerings are perfect for each setting.
If I could live at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Unfortunately, that's not an option, but we return as frequently as possible, so we can feel like we are Hollywood royalty!

I have wanted to stay in a Beverly Hills Hotel bungalow since I was a teenager. We did so on Christmas Eve. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were upgraded and thoroughly enjoyed our surroundings. The extra details seen to by the staff enhanced the experience. The restaurants were closed due to the Covid lockdown, so we ordered the Christmas festive dinner and then breakfast from room service. The meals were excellent and served by very friendly and accommodating waiters. The hotel staff certainly went above and beyond the normal hotel service, and we will definitely stay here again.

I love this place. The service is impeccable and it is well worth the slightly chunky pricing. I look forward to my next visit. This place is also very kid friendly and they make an extra effort to look after our daughters. Paradise on earth.

It’s taken me awhile to write this review as the visit was such a let down.
This was supposed to be THE hotel, I had such high hopes for it.
It started when we checked in and they “upgraded” our room. Sounds nice right? Well the only reason they upgraded us was because they gave our original bungalow away to another guest.
I had considered which room type to stay in for hrs and since we had our pet with us I realized the bungalows would be best for the outside access. They put us in a junior suite, which was inside the hotel without direct outside access, right near front desk, noisy, stuffy and with a fabulous view of the parking lot.
When I called to complain that’s when I found out all the bungalows were given to another party.
They moved us to a garden suite, now this would have been great, but there was no soaking tub and not only that but the bathroom made this hideous humming sound from the vent or the water heater, it gave me such a headache I barely wanted to shower in there. (I have a video but can only attach photos for review unfortunately)
What truly bothers me is this: I called in advance and said explicitly that this was my birthday trip, and I wanted a room with two things 1) a soaking tub, 2) a bungalow that lead directly to the outside.
Somehow upon check in The Beverly Hills Hotel could not accomplish that ask which I called in advance to have and was assured would be no problem.
Finally they suggested we move to these sort of hidden rooms that seemed almost like private residences (not seen on the website)
They looked nice enough, only issue was that they were directly behind the Polo Lounge’s kitchen. I was in the room for 2 minutes and heard plates crashing, yelling, and employees chatting.
Disappointed, we stayed in the garden suite which was quiet and nice albeit no soaking tub which was important to me.
We left early and disappointed.
The BHH could have made this right, they could have upgraded us to a nicer bungalow but instead kept assuring us that the rooms they showed were “a full level upgrade”
Why would I care about what level upgrade it is if it doesn’t have the amenities that are important to me?
I’ve honestly never booked a specific room type only to find that a hotel gave that room type away to another guest(s) and was certainly not expecting that here.
Another thing I’ll note, everyone who helped us was brand new. They had all been there like 3 months, and often got lost taking us to our room options. One actually had to stop and ask for directions because they went the wrong way.
I don’t doubt you can get great and memorable service here, but you’ll have to be somebody BHH deems worthy, some b-list actor would no doubt have a more valued experience than we did.

+1
An historic and service-oriented hotel.
Arrival: very attentive valets and doormen.
Decor: beautifully appointed throughout from fresh flowers in the elegant lobby to excellent hardware on doors.
I attended a professional conference in the “Crystal Ballroom.” The facilities were excellent- beautiful, clean, and well appointed.
Wifi: complimentary wifi for the conference was not fast. Ran an Nperf test and it measured the wifi at 18.9 Mb/s down and 14.2 Mb/s up. Not good enough for real business needs but barely adequate for checking email at a conference.
Overall cleanliness: excellent
Restroom cleanliness: excellent
Catering: Had a catered meal for the conference that consisted of tortilla soup, chick on risotto, and a chocolate dessert. Tortilla soup was so-so, chicken was good, and the dessert was good. Excellent service.
Service: all encounters with hotel staff were excellent. At a catered event, one of the guests of honor was a WWII vet who is 100 years old. A young lady on the hotel’s staff paid extra attention to this gentleman and assisted him by letting him hold onto her arm as he got off the stage. She was very proactive in assisting the elderly gentleman.
Value: the least expensive room for the conference was $1000/night before taxes. I spoke to a colleague who stayed here for the conference, and he reported a good sleep experience with no noise. But he didn’t think the room was worth the price. On the other hand, it’s all about location and convenience in Beverly Hills.

I just spent two night at the Beverly Hills Hotel and I was blown away by the level of service and attention to detail. The personalized pink and green macaroons in my room upon arrival was just the start. The safety precautions are top notch, the rooms impeccable and the atmosphere at the hotel was truly unique and top notch. Meals, while expensive, did not disappoint. Highly recommend the spa - I had the best pedicure of my life there! You will NOT be disappointed by choosing to stay at this property.

We booked via hotels.com to stay here and the booking from hotels.com clearly confirmed VIP perks of complimentary room upgrade, bottle of wine and early/late check in/out because we were Gold members.
Upon arrival none of this was acknowledged and when we informed them of us they flat out refused to accept our status. We even emailed them our confirmation email which stated all the above and heard crickets.
We then had to call hotels.com and they then called the hotel and finally they accepted our status. After dealing with several unhelpful people and waiting for the so-called manager to get back to us (who didn't) we were eventually helped by a lovely lady, Fouzia.
She was the only one that was professional and actually interested in resolving our issue but even she mentioned that the management were difficult to deal with and at the end of the day, she is just an employee.
After our stay I filled in a survey about the issue and was contacted by their guest relations who 'confirmed' that they were right to which I replied that they were clearly wrong and if he wanted to actually investigate properly I could forward him the hotels.com email confirming the benefits but there was no reply.
A bit of research shows that they are part of the Dorchester Collection who is owned by the Sultan of Brunei and a quick google search shows why many celebrities are boycotting this hotel and it's not just the service.

A bit of research shows that they are part of the Dorchester Collection who is owned by the Sultan of Brunei and a quick google search shows why many celebrities are boycotting this hotel and it's not just the service.

Dear 755starlights, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback on your recent stay with us. We came to the Beverly Hills Hotel to celebrate our marriage and we were awestruck by the kindness, hospitality, professionalism and care of our stay. The entire team was so approachable and truly went above and beyond in making our stay special. I cannot begin to describe the amount of champagne bottles, fruit platters, beautiful notes that they showered us with. They also upgraded us to a beautiful suite and truly made our marriage something more special than we could have asked for. The spa is fantastic. The dinner at the Polo Lounge was delicious and the staff work so hard to make you feel special. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff and of course Galit in catering who made us feel so taken care of. Yes, the Beverly Hills Hotel is top notch and comes with a premium price but if you do stay here - I can tell you that you are kept in great hands. If you want to treat yourself to a beautiful stay, this is a great place to indulge.

I believe valet parking is $70 per day. There is minibar in each room, and some suites have refrigerators. You might be able to request a mini fridge, as the hotel is very accommodating. I don't remember coffeemakers in the room. I always order up from room service or go to one of the restaurants for coffee. The house car does not take you to Disneyland or Universal, but you can hire a car to take you through the hotel concierge, take an Uber or taxi, or drive yourself. Hope this helps.
Hey Cathy, I suggest reaching out to the hotel as prices may change without notice. The brunch is outstanding, enjoy!
Yes, the rooms are well appointed and kept up to a high standard.
