We really enjoy stopping by for a coffee and watching what's happening on the water. The atmosphere is comfortable and cosy inside. You can also sit outside to watch the world go by. The food and coffee here are really good. I've stopped by for a Sunday lunch previous to my latest visit which was delicious - would recommend booking a table. This time we stopped by for a coffee and saw the scones (they are freshly made), we just had to have one they looked that good! We were not disappointed they were so good, they rival the ones I've had in Devon. I enjoyed every mouthful along with my caramel latte whilst watching the swans on the water. Can't wait for my next visit.

A little gem that serves the best ever fruit scones with jam and cream. Beautiful location where you can relax and just watch the world go by. Arrive by boat or walk from the town, you will always be greeted with warm and friendly welcome. You may even be lucky enough to meet Roger the poodle!

What an excellent experience. From start to finish, we have loved being at this fantastic hotel. It is described as a family hotel and it certainly has that warm family feel. The family should feel proud of what they have created here. We weren't sure if we would be able to have a room with a view but, on arrival, we were welcomed into a fantastic room with a balcony with a river view. The room had an enormous, comfortable bed and a great bath/shower arrangement. Water was always hot; toiletries and replenished. The tea tray was also generously replenished regularly. The food was beyond brilliant - all other eateries were a disappointment in comparison. Not cheap but well worth the price. A different bread each day. A wide selection of food - all delicious. Staff were outstanding - warm, friendly and always helpful. Thank you so much Wroxham Hotel. You have made our anniversary/big birthday very special. We are very happy.

From the moment you walk into the beautifully fragranced lobby you are greeted with the warmest welcome from all the staff . This boutique stylish hotel is beautifully decorated to a high standard , the lady owner has exquisite taste and a fabulous eye for details and standards that we witnessed first hand . The bar area is very warm and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the broads . The breakfast menu is extensive fresh and well cooked . The waiter at breakfast is so accommodating and friendly . All the staff are a credit to the hotel . It’s exceptionally dog friendly with beds treats bowls and poop bags provided in the room . The housekeeping staff are excellent and rooms are spotless . Every little detail is looked at from fragrant reed diffusers and tea lights around the hotel giving ambience and a real quality yet comfortable vibe .

Visited for a special dinner for 2. Not greeted on arrival as restaurant manager (blond haired chap was busy and bar staff have no initiative). Eventually offered a table after grabbing a drink at the bar, the bar staff need some training in being pleasant, the girl with “Bosh” tattoos on the back of her neck wasn’t rude but wasn’t nice either and when you’re paying premium prices you expect a smile and some manner. The food on the other hand was amazing, the restaurant manager was very polite, friendly and saved the experience for us. The music though….. pop music at too loud volume playing 60 seconds of a song then skipping to the next one. And nobody wants to be having a nice dinner listening to the f bomb in pop songs. So that definite needs sorting out. Overall it was ok, food awesome, service patchy and not cheap.

Had the pleasure of booking a table for an evening meal booked through the manager, outstanding meal, it was a special of the day which was a roast dinner. The chefs please do take a pat on the back, really good food. Sadly, on arrival, we introduced ourselves to the lady running the restaurant who informed us we were early and would have to wait. Not an issue as we went to the bar, how dare we be early (15 mins). We had a drink and waited, and waited, and waited…. We asked a lady who was serving and she said our table has been waiting for us, we weren’t informed, however, this lady was great and so supportive (thank you again). We were served by this new lady and we had a great meal, paid a tip and went to leave. On walking out through the bar, the restaurant manager (who I think she was or acted like she was) informed us that we hadn’t paid and needed to return to her immediately. Not only was this embarrassing, it was wrong as we paid and gave a tip. Knowing she got it wrong, she didn’t apologies and just walked off. Basic manners cost nothing, accusing someone of theft is another, getting it wrong and not having the ability to apologies is hugely disappointing. I understanding hospitality is difficult at the moment, however, getting the right people in your team is vital for success, especially as the chefs and other staff are outstanding. Crazy, across the road Mc Donald’s service was far better the next morning, maybe she can look at their customer service manual for advice!

A senior couple, we tend to look for short stays on a Sunday evening, which we all know will give you the best rates. We were delighted with the room we received which was the 'Hickling Suite' with a lovely balcony overlooking the river adjacent to the bridge. The room was superbly appointed, and immaculate. Although in truth I have confidentally given 5 stars, it must be acknowlegdged that the actual decor and fittings are dated, but very well kept. The beds are super, and the bathroom facilities fine. Staff were lovely and the food offerings excellent, if a trifle expensive, but it is an Hotel, and the seasons must be short. As seniors, staff were happy to carry our luggage up the rather steep stairs, as there is no lift. A super Hotel, and one we would certainly recommend.

We visited the Hotel Wroxham for just a coffee. We sat outside waited about 10 minutes no one came to take our order, so my sister went inside to order. She asked if they could bring it to us as she's unable to carry a tray as well as open the door and go down the steps carrying the tray. After another 5 minutes no sign of the coffee so she went back inside to see our coffe on the bar. The lady said she would "try & get someone to bring it to us". She asked the young man at the side of her to take the coffee to us to which he replied "no" sh she brought it to us, and of course the coffee was luke warm. I think the staff need to be trained in customer service, as none was shown today.
