The rooms are ok, they are essentials, it would be good to improve the cleaning. Beyond that the receptionist Ali is a pleasant person, he’s very kind, helpful and welcoming. The price is competitive.

I was planning to stay 1 night and stayed 4 because i felt extremely welcomed by issam the owner and the room was very clean and comfortable, wifi was excellent and u can use the kitchen at your convenience and they provide free coffee and tea all day, they also have a great open air terrace with a fantastic view where u can chill. I recommend anyone to go there and really enjoy the kindness of the owner Issam who is doing it’s maximum so that u enjoy ur stay there . Location is great near the bus station, all restaurants and shops and a walking distance, and 20 minutes to the entrance of petra site. No one knows the area better than the owner and he will give u the best advices u can wish for. If u want an authentic feeling of the jordanian hospitality this is the place to be ! I recommend anyone to stay there 100%

We stayed here 29th Feb - 2nd March. Nice place, clean and the beds were really comfortable. Basic but great for price. The staff were really nice and friendly. Very accommodating helping us with transfers, etc We were up and out so early we didn’t get the try the breakfast, but looked good. Amazing location! Right in the town for easy access to food, shops and cash machines. We were able to walk to Petra from here 20mins to it and about 40mins back as uphill. Only downside for us was, even though the rooms are non-smoking, the lounge area allows it and we found that the smell travelled into our room and was very over powering for us as we are not smokers.

We loved the hospitality of the owner/manager of this hotel. The decor in living room is set up really well. Breakfast is basic but good. It is close to many good restaurants, one of which is owned by the hotel manager, which you can get 10% off discount! The room we got is a lot nicer than how the online pictures depict them. It's roomier than we thought it'd be, and the water pressure is not bad compared to other accommodations we had in Jordan. Our room faced the street. It was quiet for 2 of the 3 nights we had. One night though, there was a really loud ongoing fight amongst some guys at 1:30AM. It didn't end until about 4:30/5AM. I'm a light sleeper, so I was awake most of that night. But this is not the fault of the hotel. We just got unlucky with some angry locals screaming at each other!

We paid 50 JOD (£55) per night to stay in a double room the heart of Wadi Musa. The room itself wasn’t great - definitely a budget option but the owner makes this place. His advice on visiting Petra, helping us park, taking us up to the roof to watch the sunset and getting us to try his homemade traditional food with his friends before we went out for our own dinner. Breakfast was similar to other small hotels in Jordan - tea (with milk!), boiled eggs, pitta bread, hummus, laughing cow cheese, cucumber and tomato. The 5 JOD lunch was similar with cake and fruit added. Hand towels in the bathroom and a lamp in the room would make for a more comfortable stay but otherwise the owners should keep doing what they’re doing. To be completely honest if you’re used to European 3 star+ hotels, this place isn’t for you but if you value experience more than a plush room, there isn’t anywhere better.

Landed there out of the blue one night after escaping a dreadful hotel in Petra the night before ... and what a nice surprise. It is basic, but has everything needed and the owner is just great! Clean beds, clean room and shower. Hot water (not a given in Petra) and pressure. Lovely breakfast and great big room to hang around in and watch tv! Owner is just super nice and advised us on loads. Thanks you!

I spent three nights at My Home Petra. The accommodation is basic, but it was adequate for my needs - I didn’t plan on spending any time there apart from to sleep. I was given one towel and one half used toilet roll. The room wasn’t serviced during my stay, so I had to ask for a replacements. The water was hot, although it took an age to heat up. Breakfast was okay, with enough staples to fill you up before hitting Petra. It starts at 7am - I’d have preferred an earlier start if I’d had the option. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available 24/7 - just help yourself. They also do picnic bags but I didn’t get one so I can’t comment on them. They have an arrangement with a restaurant nearby (10% discount) which is actually very good. The food is better than the others in the vicinity in my opinion. I was driving and there’s no dedicated parking spaces - luckily I found one close by. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Petra, maybe 25 to walk back as it’s all uphill!

Very friendly owner - I didn’t make a reservation but could stay here anyway because he had one room left. Nice breakfast, shower is warm (just let it run for a couple of minutes) and the beds are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hello everyone, I really recommend you this hotel. I have been there for 2 nights with 3 friends, we got a warm hospitality by Isaam, a very kind man. Good breakfast, all clean. Isaam explained us all the good things in Wadi Musa, Petra and even invited us for a watermelon in the evening. No complaints at all, only compliments!
