We loved our stay at Petra Fig Tree. First the location is amazing, with wonderful views over the mountains and Petra. We were sleeping in the big family room which has a wonderful little outdoor deck, perfect to chill out after a long day hiking in Petra and to watch the sunset. Second, Yolanda! She’s one of the nicest B&B owner we’ve known! She gave us advices on where to go hike, go eat, and told us many stories. She even gave us advice on other place in Jordan before we had even arrived in Jordan, was really nice! And she made wonderful breakfasts too! We really felt at home at the Fig Tree Villa, thank you Yolanda! And our 3yo son loved it too (she even prepared a box of toys for him!). Hope to come back there soon!

This is a beautiful house on the edge of town with a wonderful view just minutes from Petra Visitors Center. We're were completely pampered and cared for. A delicious breakfast is included and you can order a homemade dinner or a packed lunch to take with you. Jolanda is very available and helpful with any questions you might have about the area. Once you decide on Petra Fig Tree Villa everything else is easy to arrange with her help. My children who are 10 and 6 loved it here. There are kids books in English available and space to play outside.

My stay in the Fig Tree Villa was beyond all the expectations. I spent 3 wonderful and restful days with Jolanda and her family which gave me a positive recharge physically and emotionally to face the stress of daily work afterward. Fig Tree Villa embodies the real meaning of a guest house thanks to Jolanda hospitality and generosity. My airport transfers and hike went smoothly thanks to her thoughtful organisation. I feel that I have a home in Wadi Moussa. I will definitely return back.

The place has a stunning view and is conveniently located to visit Petra. The owner is very warm and welcoming and took care of every little thing, from travel trips to a contact with a local taxi driver, even a hot water bottle for the night! The breakfast was especially yummy and made with love, in part with ingredients from the garden. I loved the cozy atmosphere, as a solo traveller was nice to share a chat over a tea. Did I mentioned the two lovely cats? I hope to visit again!

My time at the Bed and Breakfast was the absolute highlight of my trips to the Middle East. Jolanda is friendly and helpful, Pumpkin and Ginger (the two permanent feline residents) are a treat, and if you're lucky, you might even see the tortoise in the garden. Rooms are comfortable and cozy, and each one has its own unique beauty. With charming gardens, stunning views, and a short walk from Petra and all of the amenities of Wadi Musa, the Petra Fig Tree Villa is the best that Wadi Musa has to offer

We stayed two nights at Fig Tree, we had a very pleasurable stay and felt at home in no more then a second. After sleeping in anonymous hotels for a week our stay in Fig Tree really have a little bit of that personal and relaxed feeling. The service was great and we havent missed out on anything.

I stayed there for one night with my partner. Jolanda is a great host, we had really interesting conversations with her. And she made sure everything is up to our expectations. She has two adorable cats if you're a cat lover. If you're not, or allergic like myself, sleeping in the rooms won't be a problem because cats don't go in there. We definetly recommend staying at Jolanda's. It was great!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Wadi Musa! Jolanda was an amazing host from start to finish (and before we even arrived). First, her home is beautiful and is in the perfect location for visiting Petra. We also loved taking in the views while sipping tea on the balcony. In addition, Jolanda provided a delicious homemade breakfast before our tour, and also made a nice packed lunch for a long day at Petra. Most of all, she makes you feel at home the entire stay. We loved sharing stories with her and relaxing in the evenings. If you’re looking for a stay in Wadi Musa, don’t go anywhere else and stay at Jolanda’s wonderful home.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay with Jolanda in the Petra Fig Tree Villa. She is extremely friendly and welcoming, and did everything to make us feel comfortable. You feel like you are visiting someone in your own home (which you are!), and she spoiled us with her delicious cooking, also giving us provisions to take with us on our intense excursions to Petra itself. She has two cats, 16 chickens, and a fascinating large garden which kept our two young children more than occupied. The location is perfect, with a stunning view over the surrounding mountains, and a tantalising glimpse into the valley which beckons to be explored. The main entrance to the Petra site is just a few minutes' drive away. We had the place to ourselves on our stay, which was perfect under the difficult circumstances of the pandemic. Jolanda is very knowledgeable about the local area, and is more than happy to give suggestions for local hikes other than Petra, etc. The house is very clean and maintained to a high standard. Water- and energy-saving measures mean that you may not have the luxury of a decadent hotel when it comes to bathing etc., but it is a homely and honest place.
