Stayed here for two night on a week’s tour of Jordan. Perfectly located for Petra, Petra Museum and the Cave Bar which is well worth a visit. Clean, comfortable rooms and a wide choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed our short stay very much.

This hotel is in a great location if you are there to go to Petra. Very close to the entrance, which was great for us. It is also near shops & restaurants. It has a pool on the roof, good service & a decent breakfast buffet. However, there is a lot of road noise, & our room had a rather unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. There is also a small fridge with a glass door that is always lit up, so you may want to cover it with a towel if you like a dark room. This is a non-alcohol hotel, if that is important to you. Our room was clean & the staff were friendly.

It was a very nice hotel but the beds were very uncomfortable. The location was good and they even gave me bear pancakes. If you want to go to Petra (see my other review) you just have to go down the road and then you’re there. Overall it was very nice.

Standard size hotel room but clean and well furnished. Bathroom functional but on the small side. Availed of room service dinner on one night which was reasonably priced by Jordan standards. Extra pillows willingly provided on request and buffet meal offering had a good variety. Hotel is not licenced but alcohol venue options are nearby with Cave Bar recommended. Location is wonderful with a 2/3 minute walk to Petra Museum and Visitor Centre.

Great location just a five minute walk to the entrance of Petra. Rooms are a bit small but clean with modern furnishings. The outlook from my room was an ugly incomplete building structure. My room had a comfortable double bed. The bathroom had a good size walk in shower. There are the usual amenities. The TV only has a couple of English speaking stations. The wifi is fast & reliable. Breakfast was included and there was a comprehensive selection of hot & cold dishes both western & Middle Eastern. Dinner is also a buffet with plenty of dishes to choose. There is a swimming pool located on the top floor, level 5. Pleasant & comfortable hotel. There is a luxury hotel of the same name next door.

I can't believe there's a better option than Petra Moon for visiting Petra - the location, the fabulous rooftop pool, the amazing breakfast buffet, the superbly helpful staff, the quiet comfy room, the reasonable cost...and did I say location? 2 mins walk, if that, from the museum and visitor centre/entrance, which makes all the difference. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an extra day in Wadi Musa and visited the rooftop swimming pool at Petra Moon for 15 JOD. Sultan, our waiter, was so attentive and friendly. Delicious lunch and great views! Would highly recommend!

The staff is excellent: friendly and quick to answer your needs. The room I stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was provided for free with body and hair products from the famous Dead Sea mud. Dinner was served on the rooftop terrace and the tables are facing the hillside which is beautifully illuminated by night. The swimming pool is also on the terrace and it's facing the West, which means you can enjoy the sunset going for a swim.

I rarely leave reviews but have been really impressed with this hotel. The level of service has compared well to any 5 star resort we have stayed in. All staff have been polite and gone out of their way to make sure we've have a relaxing stay, with lots of little extras thrown in. The buffet on the roof terrace was exceptional and a really special experience and at breakfast I was looking at a Jordanian dish and two chefs put together a traditional dish for me (Foul Medame) which was really unexpected and tasty. The location is perfect- a few minutes walk to the main entrance of Petra and is nicer than the Movenpic I feel as they are next to a main road with a pool terrace very sheltered from the sun at the back. The Petra Moon has a lovely sun terrace with towels and shade if needed. Contrary to other reviews I've seen, the WiFi is free and fast. We had a suite and found it to be spotlessly clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and would love to come back!
