The public areas of the hotels look fairly ok. The rooms however are in serious need of refurbishment. This means changing out all furniture carpets and other fixtures and totally redecorating the rooms. Diner and breakfast were pretty boring. The main thing going for the hotel was the view.

Here you got almost all the promised comfort they advertise: a nice view of Petra, really large room with same balcony size etc. We were lucky to get a room with a wiew, so it was perfect for us, even we spent only one night there. The hotel staff was very nice and willing to help on the spot, which make a big difference. All in all, we were pleased with our short break there.

Hotel facilities are simple, but quite enough. Staff was friendly and polite. The best part is surely the majestic view of the valley, it's possible to see parts of the hidden city Petra. Sunset is wonderful from there.

Located in between a mountain overlooking nearby Petra, at Wadi Musa, Jordan. A small family hotel resort business, near Petra with free WIFI, friendly arab staffs, middle price, outdoor swimming pool and free-parking. The entrance of Petra is just a 5-minute drive away. The buffet breakfast serves daily with middle east menu, coffee/tea and continental cuisine.

We were part of a bus tour of 20 people and my wife and I were allocated room 257 at the end of the long corridor and on the same floor as the reception. The odd numbered rooms have the view. Our room, and the two next to it (255 and 253), had large balconies. The stars at night are absolutely beautiful from the balcony. There are also good sunset and mountain views, as the name of the hotel implies. It was too cold to swim in the pool but the swimming pool appeared to be well maintained. My only complaint with our particular room is the hard metal angle-iron sticking out 3 inches from the end of the corner of one of the beds, and 4 inches above the floor level – as I found out, a shin gouger as it was on the corner you skirt around to get to the balcony door - ouch!!! Our room had two double beds, fridge, safe, TV with an English movie channel, flyscreen on the balcony door and facial tissues. The air-conditioner only worked on “high”. Complimentary bottled water was supplied. The modern bathroom had the usual toiletries, a plug in the sink, an excellent strong shower (which had a handrail), a bath and a washing line. The hotel had good wi-fi in the large lobby area. Dinner was a very nice buffet – quite plentiful with a lot of variety. Wait staff were attentive and unobtrusive. Breakfast was similarly good quality. Wine was comparatively expensive at 28 Dinars (A$56) for a bottle of local (from Madaba) Saint George Cab Sav Pinot Noir 2016 - the wine at the Marriott, 250 metres up the hill, starts at 20 Dinars (A$40). The local Petra beer is 8 Dinars (A$16) for a 500 ml bottle. I would have given this hotel a 5 rating if not for the angle-iron – if my shin found it, surely others had as well. However, overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful however the hotel is tired and dated. The pool was closed even though we had warm to hot days. Location is great for the view but that's where it ends as there is actually nothing close by to the hotel. Food is via a buffet and has limited variety however it is tasty. Drink prices are extremely high as what you would Expect from a 6 star hotel even the water is 6 times the prices from the local supermarket.

When I saw the Hotel from a distance, I was impressed. Two stars for the nice views ( seen from a friends balcony) and spacious rooms. After that it is downhill. My room was dirty and shabby. Some of the light fixtures did not work. There were no hangers in the closet. Some rooms had a shower in addition to a hand shower. I only had the hand shower and generally that would be fine except the water pressure was very low and I barely got a trickle of water. I had an adjoining room and the conversations from the next room could be heard clearly. There is no way this hotel can have a four star rating.

A hotel with a view. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Food is average as always cold. The rooms are old and it shows. Tour operator put us here as probably cheap. Only a 2 star hotel. Very clean though.

We were booked into this hotel by our tour operator. It is incredibly tired and run down. The rooms are basic with no tea and coffee making facilities or mini bar. The staff are nice. The general areas of the hotel are clean but very dated. The windows are dirty. The pool was very dirty. The only good thing was the view.
