A comfortable refuge at the end of a tiring day of sight seeing! My room was very clean, nicely decorated, good medium size, with a nice outlook over the Wadi Musa town. There are tea and coffee making facilities, which you don’t get in every hotel in Jordan, so I appreciated that. And some yummy fruit awaiting me, perfect to have a small snack while I relaxed after a hot and dusty day.

Excellent location. Very friendly staff and great rooftop terrace. The main restaurant is big and surve a buffet you can enjoy your dinner at the cave of the nabateans King lol. The area near ks full of restaurants and shops also. The museum and the main gate for petra is 3 minutes walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone.

We stayed for three nights, it’s in a great location 5 minutes walk to the gates for Petra, the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is nice, I would not mark it as 3 stars there was no room safe, no tea making facilities the rooms are small the bathroom and shower are small, our bed had a kings size mattress on a double base. Ok for one night stay but not longer. Although Turkish bath in hotel was amazing.

Great location and good facilities. Unfortunately lack of attention to detail lets it down. For instance, our room did not have the promised fridge. After we asked we got in. Likewise there were not enough hangers but more were provided when we asked. The breakfast is OK but more fruit is needed. They don't have a terrace of any kind which is a shame, why not use the roof which has great views?

Room Tip: Some rooms have a view of a building site. Avoid 614 and presumably similar rooms on other floors.

Location is excellent, 5 min walk to Petra visitors’ centre, museum and site entrance. Also close to convenience stores for cold drinks and snacks. We stayed 3 nights. Our room was on 7th floor, apparently recently renovated, although not to a North American or European standard, and the bathroom was not renovated - tub/shower combo with sliding glass door. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Kettle and instant coffee provided in room, paper cups and stir sticks, empty mini fridge. Air conditioning doesn’t have thermostat, and with temperature 36C plus, it had to be on to sleep, so either you have to get up in the night to turn it off, or freeze. Construction currently going on next door during the day, with hammering, but not noisy at night. Breakfast was very limited, some cereals, yogurt, sandwich meats, hard boiled eggs, pancake station sometimes staffed, weak coffee. First day there they ran out of coffee cups and never did restock while we ate, I drank from a milk pitcher I retrieved from behind the bar, as did another guest. We tried 3 nearby restaurants, all reasonable - My Mom’s restaurant, Red Cave restaurant, Pizza House.

Room Tip: Apparently you can ask staff for an omelet for breakfast but you will need to be bold.

Not clean and very bad customer service; i pulled the cover of the bed to find out hair and an already used pillow cover. They refused to change the covers as there was no employees working at night!

Location is perfect and breakfast is good although you have to ask for omelet because it is prepaired in the kitchen. The rooms are less, I would have rather slept in the lobby which was clean and updated, the toilet in the room didn't work and the reception was very unfriendly.

3rdfloor is very basic . Try to get the rooms from the 4th floor and up . Breakfast is decent . They have a nice rooftop but no alcohol served . There is no water in the room so adding a small botle would be nice ! Everything is about the location !

the edom hotel is centrally based in Petra within walking distance of the entrance to the musuem and entrance gate to Petra. The reception area and restaurant area is well equipped and inviting. However the rooms are somewhat dated and are in need of updating and having a makeover. Their is a roof top bar that has a few selction of drinks but nothing of alcoholic beverage. you may need to find a licenced premises if in need of a chilled relaxing drink

The hotel is walking distance to the entrance of Petra. That was so wonderful. We were very pleased with the helpful staff especially Emud the supervisor at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered local and western cuisine. Acceptable 3 star hotel.
