Detailed Reviews
The room was spacious, bright, and the bed was very comfortable. The air condition worked perfectly and was quiet. There was a fridge and kettle, and tea bags and Nescafe coffee packets were provided. I wasn't feeling well and didn't go down to the restaurant for breakfast and dinner for two days. The manager of the restaurant was wonderful, and helped my husband to put together some food he could bring up to the room. This was one of the best places we stayed in during a 15-day trip to Jordan.

+1
We did book two rooms the night before visiting Petra. This hotel is located rather up a hill dominating the town.
Friendly welcome (could be more efficient) in a lobby with a nice view.
But the hotel is a bit tired and would need some renovation.
A few things are broken in the room (no big deal given price).
The basement has a small gym and pool but too cold at this time of the year.
The bfast is taken on the roof. Disappointing.
First I don’t like when a waitress stands leaning against the wall, starring at you and not doing anything. When asked where is the cutlery (to bring outside on the terrace where no table was set) she has to ask a colleague ... useless. Change job. This was Friday 28 Feb at 8:05am.
The breakfast food is really average.
I don’t recommend this hotel. Find a cheaper, more modest one to have better value for money.

Welcoming comfortable hotel.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. It was very reasonably priced, about $80 on booking.com.
The hotel has a rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The room was comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many choices both Jordanian dishes and western dishes. They have made to order eggs.
The dinner buffet, 12 JOD, about $ 17 USD, was plentiful and delicious. You’ll want to eat here after a long day at Petra.
The hotel has a pool in the basement which looked inviting, especially in the summer.
The owner, George, was very friendly and helpful. He of Indian descent by way of Hong Kong. He spoke English very well.
The only drawback to the hotel is it’s location, which is about a mile to the Petra enter an email site. We took a taxi, 2 JOD, and about 4 minutes to get to and from the entrance.

Stayed at the Tetra Tree Hotel for 3 nights in Nov 2019. We'd had some problems trying to find somewhere nice to stay in Wadi Musa, as the reviews for a lot of places were mixed. We plumped for the Tetra Tree thinking it would probably just be ok, but we were more than pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very good value for money for what we paid, and very clean and comfortable, plus we had a nice room with a view over the city. Our favourite thing was sitting on the terrace - either in the morning eating what was actually a very nice breakfast, or in the evening with a beer watching the sun go down. Ok the hotel isn't perfect - there was stuffing coming out of the chair in our room, there was a slight leak somewhere in the bathroom, and the aforementioned beers were 5JD for a small can, but none of these things would put me off staying at the Tetra Tree again if I visited Wadi Musa. I should mention however, that the hotel is some way from the Petra site, and parking at Petra can be quite difficult. We ended up walking most of the time, and the walk back to the Tetra Tree is a bit of an uphill slog. Keeps you fit though !

This review is for Tetra Tree Restaurant. We had an incredible experience with the most delicious food at the Tetra Tree Restaurant in June 2021, they had even done all these special things (playing specific songs, bringing cake, setting up a romantic dinner) for our friends that had recently got engaged that night overlooking the sunset. The restaurant was charming and had a beautiful rooftop patio overlooking Petra. A wonderful experience, with a very hopsitable staff. The Tetra Tree Hotel owner was super welcoming and warm and the JHT organizer Andrea was amazing and even stayed to chat with us for dinner and helped organize all the amazing details for the post-engagement dinner for our friends. I would definitely come back to eat her for the restaurant. Unfortunately, we weren't staying at the hotel but our experience at the restaurant was amazing!

We (a group) stayed at this fabulous hotel for 3 nights and we loved our stay! The rooms were big, lovely, clean and very warm which was a big bonus as it was cold in January (plus the bedding was very good quality). The hotel owner was always on hand to ensure his staff were doing a fabulous job (and they did, everyone was very polite and the service was excellent). They bent over backwards to organise everything for us (and Petra itself is just a short walk away from the hotel) and we can not help them enough!
Nice, safe, secure hotel to stay where you are well looked after! Plus there is an upstairs restaurant and cheap bar👍
Thank you so much and we will definitely be staying with you again, 100% recommended👍

This is such an amazing hotel. The staff here are amazing, so well-mannered and will cater towards your needs if you need anything! The manager Ali welcomed me and my mum so nicely & we had such an amazing time. The food here is 10/10, I really enjoyed it, the chef was really nice to talk to aswell. Any questions, quieres you have they will get back to you ASAP and will do everything in their power to fix it. The stay here was amazing. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Honestly, couldn’t have asked for anything better. Everything was perfect. Thank you for having me and my mum. We really enjoyed it. We 100% recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Petra. The tourism area isn’t too far from here too.

Reception area welcoming. Rooms a reasonable size but very dingy. The dining room with a roof top balcony is a real talking point. Cracked crockery, same food served at every meal of a poor standard. Nothing seems fresh apart from the omelettes which are cooked to order.Holes in the floor bits of sellotape stuck on the ceiling filthy windows. It is a real appetite suppressant. Needs a total refurbishment. Avoid.

We were staying at a nearby hotel but decided to have dinner at Tetra Tree's restaurant for dinner celebrating our proposal and what an amazing dinner it was! Beautiful views, authentic and delicious Arab food. The owner put on music for us and we had a lovely time. A great spot to have an intimate dinner (especially during COVID when few things are open) with wonderful and kind staff.

Unsure about a packed breakfast, as I don’t recall seeing anything about it. However there’s no harm in asking, and the staff couldn’t do anything more - so I’m sure they’d be happy to help.
Sorry, maybe I do not understand the question but I believe that every room only has one bathroom.
Dear Bob, a friend of my just comment to me he did the same trip as you and the best way is to fly to Eilat then take taxi till border and then from border the hotel will arrange to you a driver at the border to get you to petra. Is much cheaper then taxi from Amman or Aqaba.
I hope this will help you. In all case contact hotel by email they will tell you the best and cheaper way to com to the hotel.
Have a nice trip and enjoy Petra
Hi, actually I contact the hotel few days before I cross the border, and they arrange my pick up, about the transportation from the hotel to Petra park it's so easy, I did once with taxi and it was only 3 mints drive and the next day I thought I could make it walking and was much better idea since I was looking for ATM and some shops to do my shopping on my way to Petra
