Welcome to the Seven Wonders Hotel / Petra situated with dramatic views over the town and valley of Wadi Moussa, which houses the ancient city of Petra, now one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. We are a newly built 4* hotel with super-added facilities of a rooftop swimming pool and terrace, and what we believe is the best fitted Turkish Baths suite in Jordan. The hotel is well situated at the upper end of the scenic Wadi Moussa valley and town. It is a short walk from the town center and souk. Although the area generally is hilly, some of the roads being quite steep, the walk from the hotel to the upper part of the town is almost flat and can be undertaken by most reasonably fit people. We are easy to locate, a short drive in on the main access roads from Shawbak and Ma'an, on the right hand side, near to the Police Station. The principle part of the town, and the Petra ancient ruin, is on the same road below us continuing through the valley. Our aim at the hotel is to provide you with a happy experience of Arabia within a comfortable family orientated setting. To this end, we regret we cannot accommodate pets, nor do we serve alcohol inside the hotel, although it is available elsewhere in the town. The building which was completed in 2012 is of a tower design with lift and stairs The lift means it is suitable for elderly and slightly less able bodied guests. We regret bathroom facilities are not adapted for wheelchairs, nor for walking appliances, due to lack of floor space.

DO NOT STAY HERE ! I stayed in room 306 with my boyfriend. Our rooms were not ready when we arrived, the owner said check in time was 3 pm when the booking advert said 12. The card and lock of the room is faulty, we had to go to the concierge every single time to open the door. To this end, they removed the entire electronic card system on our doors and 4 other neighbouring ones to replace or reset it. During which we waited at the pool, the water was cloudly and murky in colour. I called for their in-house hammam service for 2 only to realise that their only male “worker” in the hotel was doubling as the cleaner, handyman and now masseuse. Our card still doesn’t open to door without a trip to the concierge. This place is a disgrace treating us tourists as fools. I do not recommend this place at all.

Our bathroom had mold all over the ceiling, hairs in the shower and very dirty overall. Food in the restaurant was average at best. Great location though. Issue with hot water. Unfortunately would not recommend.

Not the cleanest hotel we stayed in during our trip. Two members of our party were subjected to inappropriate conversations with hotel staff, I would not recommend this hotel for females travelling alone.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms, comfy beds and great rooftop bar with pool - perfect for watching the sunset. Parking is close by, as well as few nice restaurants. Unfortunately I caught a food poisoning on the way to Petra, so I needed medical help while staying in the hotel. Luckily there was Jehad, hotel manager, that was super kind and thoughtful. He provided the doctor and everything that could help me feel better. This was one of the nicest experience ever and I am really grateful to Jehad for all the effort and kind gestures. Definitely recommend staying there.

Outdated. The hygiene is below standard, stains in bed/bathroom. No free socket, we plugged out the fridge so we could have 1 socket for charging our phones. Breakfast was old, molded bread, dry cucumber etc. The day after we got exactly the same things as the day before. The staff is friendly.

This place was definitely an adventure. On the surface it seems ok definitely out dated with no open plugs for charging and a lot of problems like a whining mechanical noise all night long and the shower water switching from cold to hot every 2-3 seconds with an odd sound. Other issues included a non working hair dryer and Wi-Fi that sometimes works. I wouldn’t recommend booking with any expectations but if you were forced to stay here it’s tolerable.

Very nice hotel with top service. Everything we needed they provided. The room was very nice, spacious, with a balcony with a very nice view and also the heating was working very fine. It was warm and cozy. The food was delicious. They served us also traditional food which was just perfect. We enjoyed also the spa which was relaxing. And also we enjoyed a very nice view of the sunset on the rooftop bar. I highly recommend it and I can't wait to stay there again next time we visit Petra.
