Let’s look at the positives about this hotel. It is in the central part of town a very short walk of 5 mins from the entrance to Petra. It has two pools one enclosed on 4 sides by the hotel and one that was more open. Both are OK, I can rate them no higher. The open one was very cold whilst the enclosed one had a lot of leaves floating in it.

Booking in was efficient but hardly welcoming and the room, lacked care and attention to cleanliness. The shower is state of the art, the money would have been better spent on the painting and décor. The toilet was disgusting with what looked like urine stains on the porcelain. The safe did not work and maintenance had to be called twice. The in room telephone did not work and whilst they were going to replace it, this did not happen. The food, we had dinner and breakfast, whilst adequate was dull and lacked variety. Yes, there was a choice but it was the same over the course of my stay. Having tried the dinner the first night, I decided to eat out from that point onwards as there are a good selection of restaurants with good foods.

The best part of the hotel is the bar. The barman was friendly, welcoming and made a great effort to make people feel welcome.

If I returned to Petra I would certainly not stay here again. It is not worth the money and can only charge what it does, because of its proximity to Petra.

Tha hotel position is excellent for visitng Petra, but the management has to work harder to make this establishment more friendllier. Reception folks lacked any customer service making the check-in process very uninviting. Rooms lack any sound proof and you’ll awake un the middle of the night by entrance doors being slammed or by road noise coming from the outside. Old bed mattresses, pillows, sheets and miserable bath towels.
Stay at this hotel if you don’t really care about a sleeping or don’t care if minimum comfort. Breakfast was mediocre.

Stayed here for 1 night to visit the wonderful Petra. The hotel is about 500m from the visitor centre at Petras entrance and there's a few restaurants nearby.
We had some issues checking in (not the hotels fault) and Safi on reception was really helpful and also arranged our 'Petra by night' tickets (do this if you can).
Jordan seems to take a varied approach to plug sockets, using standard three pin, european 2 pin and also a slim 2 pin plug. Our room at the only socket we didn't have adaptors for, but the staff at breakfast let us use the sockets in the restaurant.
The room was basic but really clean and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast had a reasonable amount fo choice and was ok quality.
There's also a 'pub' attached to the hotel which offers beer, but as Jordan is a predominately Islamic country, alcahol is pricey.

Dreadful. Failure to put drinking water in a hotel room when you shouldnot drink the tap water is totally unacceptable.
Corridors and rooms old and tired. We had a 6th floor room with sliding patio doors, no balcony, but plenty of ducktape & a long drop.
Certainly not a Palace, it does not warrant it's 3 stars!

A big hotel with nothing special.

The pool only had 6 long chairs, (for more than 50 rooms at least!) and when we asked if they could provide more, we had to go twice to the reception to then find out they would arrive the following week.

Old rooms with some broken sinks...

yet clean overall and welcoming staff!

Before you stay here ask about renovated rooms. We were with a tour and there was a wide variety of rooms. I think we got the “about to be renovated” room, there was a hole in the wall. Some in our group had normal rooms. The thing holding the handheld shower was broken so you’re on your own. No water pressure anyways. We showered in someone else’s room. The decorative bed cover was super dirty, there was food on it. The towels were also dirty like I think they gave us dirty towels. Housekeeping wasn’t understanding when we showed them. They were annoyed. A guy kept knocking on our door but we couldn’t communicate. He came back several times. So strange. There were only two plugs. Really dim light. Everywhere in the hotel is full of cigarette smoke. Was just not a happy place. It’s about 6,000 steps to the treasury so that’s good!
BUT we did used the Turkish bath/ Hannah portion and it was the best thing ever!!! Would highly recommend that.

This hotel is located in a great location and was pleasant enough but a few things were worth noting. We did have a problem with our toilet that took two communications to finally get it fixed. Also, don't count on having WiFi and know that they only supply one key per guest room, which was quite annoying when staying with someone on a different schedule.

The hotel overall is quite sad to look at and the rooms are not very comfortable (though not dirty either.) This place should be half there price for what you're getting, but Jordan also isn't a country where you get anything good for the money you spend. Breakfast was not good, and late check-out was not possible despite booking dot com b having at least 8 of that room available for the day

Not the cheapest option in Petra/Wadi Musa but a surprisingly good hotel for families given the cavernous and comfortable rooms and, most of all, two swimming pools; an absolute life-saver after a morning of trudging in fierce heat in the pink city. The communal facilities have a slightly 70s vibe, reminding me of the hotel in The Shining, but in a good way. The breakfast is excellent, combining Western and Jordanian bits and bobs (hurrah for choco pics after a week of hummus first thing) and the English Bar is rather quaint too, despite the horrifically priced lager.

Well compared to other recent hotels visited in Jordan this can only be classed as very very tired. The rooms were basic with no frills ie drinking water, tissues etc. of toiletries. However it was at least at face value clean, and breakfast was good. It was located very near the visitor centre for Petra but was clearly a transitory hotel.

There is no parking at the hotel but parallel parking allowed on the street. Also since it is very close to Petra entrance. You can park in the Petra parking lots free.

Hey Do you have facility of electric kettle or tea coffee maker in your room? Thanks
Answer from Annie D

No there wasn't a kettle or such like - there was bottled water and a safe but that was about it. There's a bar just off reception, I never went there but the staff are very friendly so would be worth asking them to make you a hot drink to take to your room.
