Unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel at all. Although the location was perfect (250 meters of the entrance of Petra), and the rooms at first glance seemed to be okay, after three nights it turned out that we should have stayed somewhere else. First of all: even though I had turned on the "don't disturb" sign, it turned out that my room had been cleaned. I missed a tube of expensive body lotion afterwards, but at first I thought i put it somewhere else. The next morning after cleaning, my mother suddenly missed a silver bracelet in her room that was on the desk. She reported this to the front desk, and the two cleaning ladies reacted with a striking laugh. They then went into the room with my mother and at first there was nothing behind the desk, but when my mother looked the other way, one shouted that the bracelet had been found! It was supposedly on the floor behind the desk. A very dubious state of affairs. But, unfortunately this was not all. Fresh towels were provided after being in my room. I took a shower and without looking at it, grabbed one of these towels to dry myself. Shortly afterwards, to my horror, I saw that this towel was filthy and thus had been laid out as "clean" (see picture). I felt very dirty. At the reception I quickly got a new set of new, clean towels, but the damage was already done. In summary, if you'd like to keep your belongings and not let your vacation be ruined, then look for another hotel. The two stars are because of the location and the coffee lady who prepares delicious capuchino on the hotel terrace.…
My husband and I staying at this hotel which was booked via Jordon Beauty Tours. This hotel is the perfect location if your visiting Petra. Its just a few minutes walk to the visitors centre. It was lovely stay for two nights and view from the restaurant of the highway was stunning.
The hotel is at 5 minute walk from Petra entrance, very clean and the staff is super nice. We wanted to enter Petra earlier than the breakfast hour, and the staff prepared us boxes to take with us!! When we arrived from a long, exhausting day in Petra, they let us take a shower, even though we had already checked out of the hotel. We highly recommend the place.
The hotel is located just a few minutes from the main entrance of Petra complex. Tickets for Petra at night are available at the hotel itself. The day tour of Petra is very tiring and it is good to have a hotel nearby once you finish the day tour
Nice hotel, very close to the entrance of Petra. It only served Buffet food for either breakfast or dinner and no alcoholic drinks are allowed. Overall quality of food average! Good housekeeping and customer care.
I spend three nights here: The first night i was placed on the lowest floor (They called it the Mezzanine). When I looked out of the window, I looked at a staircase and a wall less the 3 meters away. On the 2nd 3rd night I was "upgraded" to 2nd floor. The room was functional, but again I starred directly into a wall when looking out of the window - a hotel under construction right next to this one.
Affordable hotel close to the entrance to Petra and to public parking. Room was clean. Staff were nice, and helped to prepare lunch boxes, since we went to Petra before breakfast. The food in the lunch box was poor though, can't say nothing about breakfasts.
I wanted to find a hotel that was the right mix of quality, affordable, and close to Petra - which turned out to be the La Maison Hotel Petra. Our family stayed in two triple rooms. The rooms were spacious and roomy, with comfortable beds, and amenities like satellite tv and fridges. The staff all spoke wonderful English and were extremely friendly and welcoming, from the front desk, to breakfast staff, to bellhops, and housekeeping. Breakfast was downstairs and the variety and quality were solid. But the location was huge. An easy walk to Petra - and more importantly, an easy walk BACK after a long day of hiking at Petra. Highly recommended!
Best hôtel to enjoy the Petra experience Great view on the town of Petra The staff is very welcoming and professional Rooms are clean and pleasant They make authentic Jordanian tasty food I Highly recommand this hotel It's almost 15 minutes walk to the site The town is secure
We stayed at the hotel as part of a tour. Our room was clean and roomy with an updated bathroom. The front desk service was friendly and prompt. The breakfast buffet was large but I was shocked to see that there was no hand sanitizer nearby as all of the serving spoons were used by guests. Fortunately, we carry our own. Exiting the hotel, it is just a five- minute walk to the entrance (but uphill on the way back) A solid choice at a moderate price point.
