We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Jordan. the location is ideal as it is only a five minute walk to the visitors centre. the hotel has a car park across the road if you are self driving.
We had a top floor room with views across towards the hills (and Movenpick!). They called this the ‘ honey moon suit’. Spacious comfortable room, and large bathroom. Very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities.
Buffet Breakfast was served in the dinning room which had large windows with views. an omelette station where you could have yours cooked to order.
We ate here one evening. The buffet was varied and the chef talked through the dishes and the various salads and dips- sharing his recipe for one of the spicy dips!
A comfortable reception area to sit and relax as well as a rooftop cafe with terrace and views.
Yes there is building work going on around the area, but that is expected as Petra is developing as a tourist destination. We were not disturbed by noise from the work, despite one of the builds only feet away from the hotel. ( this will distract from the view for some rooms in the future).
Highly recommend this hotel, staff are friendly and helpful.

The welcoming was very warm, the staff in the reception spoke fluently in English and from the first time they offered information about anything a stranger would ask for (wifi pass, Petra by night info, etc).
The room was decent, comfortable and very clean, had more than one pillows for each person.
The breakfast was really cool because it included jordanian cuisine and salty tastes.
You can exchange euros to jods in the hotel, too.
The hotel is literally 3 min walking away from Petra - very helpful because after Petra you really need your accomodation to be close to you.
Finally, near the hotel you can find 2 mini markets for some products.

Recently spent 2 nights here in the double king room at a cost of around £85 per night. It was perfect for us. If you only have a limited amount of time in the area then you will want to be as close to Petra as possible if you don't have a car, and this hotel is just a short walk away. We received a friendly greeting upon check in and were provided with lots of useful information about visiting Petra. Unfortunately I came down ill that night, and the next morning the very kind gentleman on reception helped us organise a taxi to the pharmacy for a reasonable price, which I really appreciated. After a long day at Petra, it was so nice to come back to a clean and comfortable room where I could relax while not feeling too well. There is a lovely rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a tea or juice. Overall, this is the perfect hotel for a short stay in Petra and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel at all. Although the location was perfect (250 meters of the entrance of Petra), and the rooms at first glance seemed to be okay, after three nights it turned out that we should have stayed somewhere else.

First of all: even though I had turned on the "don't disturb" sign, it turned out that my room had been cleaned. I missed a tube of expensive body lotion afterwards, but at first I thought i put it somewhere else. The next morning after cleaning, my mother suddenly missed a silver bracelet in her room that was on the desk. She reported this to the front desk, and the two cleaning ladies reacted with a striking laugh. They then went into the room with my mother and at first there was nothing behind the desk, but when my mother looked the other way, one shouted that the bracelet had been found! It was supposedly on the floor behind the desk. A very dubious state of affairs.

But, unfortunately this was not all. Fresh towels were provided after being in my room. I took a shower and without looking at it, grabbed one of these towels to dry myself. Shortly afterwards, to my horror, I saw that this towel was filthy and thus had been laid out as "clean" (see picture). I felt very dirty. At the reception I quickly got a new set of new, clean towels, but the damage was already done.
In summary, if you'd like to keep your belongings and not let your vacation be ruined, then look for another hotel.

The two stars are because of the location and the coffee lady who prepares delicious capuchino on the hotel terrace.

We stayed at the hotel as part of a tour. Our room was clean and roomy with an updated bathroom. The front desk service was friendly and prompt. The breakfast buffet was large but I was shocked to see that there was no hand sanitizer nearby as all of the serving spoons were used by guests. Fortunately, we carry our own. Exiting the hotel, it is just a five- minute walk to the entrance (but uphill on the way back) A solid choice at a moderate price point.

I arrived to the hotel with my sister to enjoy one night in beautiful Petra, when we arrived the recipient welcomed us and gave us WiFi access, informed us about breakfast box and all other services. We found the trim well cleaned and well maintained. Staff are well trained. Am coming back again soon. Thank you all

Stayed here as part of an Exoticca/Jordan and Beyond tour for two nights while visiting Petra and then Little Petra. Very nice small hotel. Check-in was quick and easy. Room was small but clean and in good condition. Included breakfasts and dinners were excellent, with good variety and plenty of choices.

You can see the Visitor Centre and entrance to Petra from the dining room, which was a major plus as our group was at Petra from about 9 until 6 pm, but we had walked enough by 4:30 so avoided what others in our group told us was the pricey cab ride to other hotels further away when we left early.

Would have no trouble recommending this hotel !

This hotel was ideal for us, we stayed for 2 nights in total. It had a beautiful entrance and the rooms were really clean. It was so central to the site of Petra, maybe a 5-10 minute walk to the visitor centre. The meals were in the form of a buffet, I really enjoyed the breakfasts, they had a good range of cuisine.

Location to Petra entrance is the only advantage to what is otherwise average accommodations. TVs in several of our group’s rooms don’t work; my shower head was broken and not fixed even after requesting repair. The breakfast buffet is better than average but not stellar.

Hi, It is possible for you to arrange driver to pick you up from Amman airport straight to La Maison in Petra. Do talk it over with the hotel and ask for them to make the booking. Note that it takes around 3 hours to get from the Amman airport to La maison
