The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from the main bus station, so a very good location and a few minutes away from the main entrance to Petra. The hotel from outside looks great, as well as the lobby and it looks like they have new carpets, but the rooms are not that good at all. They all just need a good clean and there's a permanent sewage like smell in the corridor. The breakfast was good with lots of variety though. It felt very over priced and really poor service from the hotel while we were there.

Conveniently located 5-10 mins up hill walk from the Petra site, also conveniently located to the terminating area for the Jett bus from Amman or Aqaba. It was a clean hotel with smallish rooms and small bathrooms. Bed was comfortable and pillows good as well, not too hard or lumpy. Reception was pleasant and helpful with good English. The room only had a small window with only a view of the building next door. The breakfast buffet was good with a good range and egg’s cooked to order. Get this as an inclusion if you can at a reduced price. The wifi was a bit patchy and you had to get a 2 day voucher with a separate password for each device. There is a roof top bar, non-alcoholic drinks only, which has a nice view. Their main clients appear to be French tour groups. Recommended if you can get a room for a good price. There are restaurant choices close by in Tourism St which are pretty much the same and the standard street restaurants you get across the cities in Jordan, My Moms Recipe is probably the best. This hotel’s location is a distance from downtown, which is significantly uphill to get there. We went to downtown once and there really was not much there. The issue with staying up in downtown is that you will need a taxi to get to the Petra site, taxis are everywhere so theres no issue getting one, its just an extra cost, anywhere from 5-10jod for a few kilometres. If you want to go to Little Petra for the shorter route to the Monastery and have a site entrance ticket, dont get a taxi, there is a free shuttle bus that goes from behind the Petra ticket office. Ask at the ticket office for directions. From little Petra there is a “Jeep” its not a jeep its a small open truck that seats about 20 people that can take you to part way along the walking trail to the Monestary, this reduces the walk by half. It costs 5jod. Ask about the jeep at the little Petra ticket office where you arrive from the free shuttle.

Stayed here as part of a tour. The room was small and old but incongruously had a lot of electronics! The included dinner and breakfast was copious but only of average quality. People were pleasant. Being close to the Petra entrance did not make a difference as it’s closed at night.

I stayed at this hotel as part of Intrepid tour. This was my best hotel while in Jordan: - modern room - excellent wi-fi in the room - good water pressure in the shower (but shower and toilet space a bit cramped) - clean and comfortable bed - very good breakfast, with someone cooking omelets like you want - 5 min walk from Petra entrance - friendly staff No view at the window but I could care less about this, I only stayed at the hotel for sleeping. Sometimes in the evening there as a cigarette smell coming into the room. I would stay there again.

The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk to the Petra entrance. The cost of our room was about $105 USD. The people at reception were very friendly and professional. The hotel itself is nothing amazing, but one can't beat the price and accordingly merits a five star review

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights whilst visiting Petra, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast were the best that we have had whilst in Jordan. The location is ideally placed being less than five minutes from the main entrance to Petra

Near to Petra. Clean rooms. Good sleep. Quick checkin. Made a breakfast box for early checkout. We were vegetarians. Inspite of reminding, they added meat in packed breakfast box. Hotel staff can be more considerate for families with children and their requirements. Good for 1 night before you head to other locations.

Location to Petra entrance is the only advantage to what is otherwise average accommodations. TVs in several of our group’s rooms don’t work; my shower head was broken and not fixed even after requesting repair. The breakfast buffet is better than average but not stellar.
