If you are looking to book a place to stay while you are visiting Petra, please go immediately with Petra Guests Hotel in Wadi Musa and don't look any further. You will be welcomed by amazing and extremely friendly Mr. Mohammed who will make everything for you to feel like home. Mohammed has a lot of experience with Petra as well as hotel managment, so next to having a great stay in clean and spacious rooms, Mr. Mohammed will help you with the best tips on how to explore Petra depending on the number of days you plan to give for this ancient site. He will tell you about the best locations and trails you have to take, otherwise you would miss many of them, I am sure about that. His tips will make your exploration of the site the most efficient and you will see and have the best experience possible in Petra out of all tourist, and the tips are his gift to you. Just follow his tips! The food was delicious, local and the portions were more than enough for getting energy to spend entire day walking and hiking around Petra. Mr. Mohammed can provide you with his contact in Wadi Rum if you wish to go to the desert. Thank you Mohammed for being such a great host and if I ever come back, I am booking your hotel again and telling my friends who is No1 host in entire Wadi Musa if they decide to visit Petra!

What a beautiful and amazing stay I had at this hotel. I felt like at home. Truly jordanien hospitality. Mohamed makes me feel like part of his family. He is very professional, friendly and took care about anything I needed. Very nice rooms, clean and with the most beautiful view I saw over Petra. Breakfast and food was absolutely delicious. Mohamed is very generous and he will take care of anything you need. He gave me a plan to see almost all Petra in one day. He prepared for me a breakfast box to take away and he even picked me up from Petra because I lost the bus. If you are looking where to stay in Petra/Wadi Musa I highly recommend staying at this hotel. You won't regret it!

If you are thinking of coming to Petra, RUN, don’t walk to Petra Guests Hotel! What a remarkable establishment! The owner, Mohammad, is a force of nature! He made the whole family feel at home, and made our whole Petra experience WONDERFUL! His knowledge is impeccable; all the things he said we must see were spot on! What a fabulous resource. Then, there’s the food! Mohammad would want to know what time we would be in for dinner so he could “prepare”. We usually like trying different restaurants in an area to get the “experience”. Well, Mohammad prepares everything fresh and delicious, so we ended up eating there most of the time because it was SO good! Most of the ingredients are fresh from his garden! But, most importantly, any problem we had along the way, Mohammad seems to magically resolve, through his many friends and contacts, he was a lifesaver more than once. I implore you, if you are coming to Petra, don’t even think about it! Stay here! You can thank me later!

My partner and I stayed at this wonderful hotel for several days during our time in Wadi Musa. There are many excellent features to this hotel that went above and beyond our expectations. First and foremost, the owner Mohammed made us feel welcomed as family from the moment we checked in. He asked us about our time in Jordan and our plans for Wadi Musa. He then pulled out a map and thoughtfully guided us through the best way to see Petra in the limited time we had. This continued each day. Mohammed would ask our plans, then take as much time as was necessary to ensure we had a stay to remember. The hotel had great homemade food for breakfast each day and dinners as well. The hotel was walking distance to tourism street and a short drive to Petra visitor center. Furthermore, the hotel provided an ideal vantage point to see the city lit up at night. Would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here during their visit to Jordan.

We had a great stay here! Great location where you could walk down the hill to some spots to grab food. Short drive with our rental car to get to Petra. There is an option to eat at the hotel too or ask him about prepared lunches if you are planning to hike all day.

The best hotelmanager I ever met. Thanks Mohammed for the great stay. He explained us the best way through Petra and on last day he organized a Jeeptour through Wadi Rum. The breakfast was really good. Very large selection of typical Jordanian things. A night in this hotel is an absolute must!

Mr. Mohammed is by far best and most helpfull host I ever had. He provided us with amazing experience and great plan for Petra tour, with benefit of money saving along the way. Amount and taste of food at dinner and breakfast was incredible. To summarize all together I recomend for everyone to stay at Petra Guest Hotel and share our experience.

The best hotel during our 3 weeks of stay in Jordan (after changing accommodation in Wadi Musa from a less superior place). Amazing value for the affordable price. Helpful hospitality, homely atmosphere, view into the valley, cleanliness and generous breakfast - all were way above average! If you are looking for a treat after dusty, tiring days in the Petra site - here you go, no need to look any further!

If you're planning to visit Petra or Wadi Run and you've never been to Jordan before, Mohammad is the host/advisor you need. He will tell you for free the best routes to take when visiting the amazing site of Petra and will gladly assist you making further travel arrengements in the area. After a few days of walking non-stop in Petra my trekking boots got broken and he had them repaired for me and even offered me a spare pair of walking shoes. The room was super comfortable and sparkling clean with a lovely view of the mountains. We had the mansaf for dinner one night (chicken with rice and nuts) and it was the best rice I had in Jordan during our two week holiday. Mohammad also arrenged early breakfasts and lunch boxes to take away with us for a very cheap price. We look forward to come back to the area again and stay here. Btw, the hotel's former name is Petra Princes Hotel. You can check more reviews for it under that name on TripAdvisor, as well as on Google maps.
