This is a mid range hotel that is walking distance to Petra. It is a great value. We had a room with a view and small balcony. Breakfast was good. If you get a box lunch, downsize it before you set out; it is huge. The staff was very professional and friendly. The shower is hot at night. I would stay here again. If you drive, plug in the Resteraunt name into the gps app: Shamat Resteraunt.
I picked this hotel because of the good reviews. Unfortunately, the only positive of this hotel is the location. Less than 10 minutes walk to Petra, which deserves the 2 circles. It started when we were given a room which was already occupied. When we opened the door of the room, two ladies were watching TV inside the room. We confirmed we both were given the same room number. We went back to the front desk and were given to a new room. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and all 3 days/nights the bathroom had strong sewage smell. The TV was plugged and that was it. It was not attached to any antenna nor a receiving device. We reported both problems to the front desk in the next morning. The employee wrote them down and told us they would take care of them. After over ten hours visiting Petra on the 2nd day, we entered the room still with strong sewage smell and the TV was still not working. Finally an employee came to our room and installed a receiver for us and he also could smell the sewage smell, he immediately called housekeeping who came in and pour a bucket of hot water into the drain and told us it would solve the problem. Unfortunately it did not, but we gave up and just close the bathroom door and have the fan on all the time. Also the room key stopped working on the 2nd day, it was reprogrammed and it stopped working again on the 3rd day, and when we brought it to the front desk, the employee on the front desk accused us of putting the key together with our mobile phone which I did not, I just put it in my front pocket of my shirt with my face mask. I guessed the wire of the face mask must have interfered with the key. The key worked once and stopped working again. We brought it back down and finally the employee at the front desk programmed a new key for us. I guess, he finally realized the problem was the key itself.…
We originally booked Petra Jewel Hotel, but they moved us to this hotel which is owned by same manager. Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. We were satisfied with this hotel. The room was clean, mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable. Food was good. It is also close to Petra visitors center. Parking is good.
Amazingly helpfull manager, so kind and polite. Hotel perfect for sightseeing Petra with free parking and only 5min to Petra entrance. Clean rooms with comfy beds. The restaurant serves also dinner buffet Very high standard
This is a new hotel not far from the Petra entrance (a bit over 5 minutes by foot). I had a comfortable room and slept well. The breakfast was a set menu. It was brought to my table about 5 minutes after coming to the table. It was huge (I couldn't eat everything) and with mostly local dishes. The best part was the service. When I arrived I parked my car on the street in front of the hotel. I asked the receptionist where the hotel car park is. He asked for my car keys and went to park the car while I went to my room. Soon he returned the keys to my room accompanied with a welcome drink. So wonderful! The hotel has a restaurant of its own. As the hotel is close to Petra, the area naturally has several other restaurants as well. A word of warning for those navigating with Google Maps offline content: the hotel location was marked wrong there, much earlier before Petra than it actually was. I first searched for the hotel there for quite a while. The map I had printed at home showed the correct location.…
excellent journey in wadi musa The staff is so friendly, the hotel manager Zeyad is very very nice, je offers me some slices of chocolat cake when I was leaving because I told him I loved it. Great experience. Hotel is clean and seems on the newer side. It is walking distance to petra and restaurants in town. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful and nice. Room had 3 single beds, separate heaters in each room, hot water in the shower. We asked for lunch boxes which they made for us as well.
Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are clean and beds are really comfy. Zeyad managed for us amazing traditional jordan dinner. The food was really delicious. The portions was huge, after dinner we got amazing tea and sweet dessert. Hotel is situated closed by Petra entrance. We highly recommend this hotel. And in the end of our stay we got a gift ... Really wonderful experience.
Petra Corner Hotel is perhaps the embodiment of Arab hospitality in Petra. We hadn't planned on staying a night in Petra, because there is generally not much to do in Wadi Musa if you don't have a car. However, we met another guest at the Hotel at the treasury and he recommended the place to us (himself being a very experienced hotelier). So we stayed and did not regret that we had done so. The staff was very friendly and tried to cater to any wish we had. The rooms were extremely clean and seemed to be newly renovated. The breakfast was delicious and we were allowed to stay some hours longer without any extra cost to pack up our things. If we ever come to Petra again, we will definitely stay here. We also asked for a lunch recommendation and the concierge referred us to an amazing local restaurant with great prices and even greater food.…
