The Nomads sits atop of a hill with some beautiful view over Wadi Musa. Overall the place has new rooms, a good shared lounge, a nice rooftop terrace and a friendly staff. Nonetheless, it seems to me they really try push you buy the dinner they offer since the shared kitchen is absolutely terrible, not even a knife to cut was available and had to make a trip to their actual kitchen to get one, two floors above. This is pretty sad cause is also the whole meaning behind the "nomad" concept. Generally it was a pleasant stay.

Nice location and very friendly staff, especially the two girls at the reception who were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel itself is located just few minutes away from the archeological site and the mountains' view from the breakfast room is outstanding. Our room was cosy even though the bathroom was far too small, cramped and really uncomfortable. Plentiful breakfast and all in all nice atmosphere.Recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Nomads. The food was good, the bed was comfy, and we enjoyed meeting all of the young people who were staying there. There was a 10-15 minute downhill walk to the entrance of Petra that was a nice way to start the day.

+ The hotel was nice. We booked double rooms with private bathrooms. The rooms were good, clean with comfortable beds. The bathroom was a little wasted, but acceptable. There are few parking spots in front of the hotel. You should be careful where you park if you will park on the street. The breakfast was good, starting early enough. If it is included in the price it is good, if you have to pay it additionally I would take something else. There are some games and football table in the lobby. Good wifi in the common area and in the rooms.

- The hotel is on super steep hill. It is close to Petra enterence but walking back to the hotel is not pleasent at all. Use your car, if you have one.
The dinner is not worth the money. I would not pay it if I go back again. The meals were fine, but you can find more delicious ones in the restaurants, nothing special. They said the dinner will finish in 21:30. Some other guests came in 20:00 and half of the food was finished and they said they will not take out more. It would not be pleasent to pay 10 JOD for dinner, to go on time and to see empty buffet.

Warm hotel managed by a welcoming and kind team. The rooms are efficient and simply decorated. Breakfast and dinner are made of local dishes prepared by hand by local people and based on fresh products. Moreover, the hostel is located only 2 minutes drive from the archaeological site of Petra, which is very convenient to arrive there very early in the morning before the heat and the world arrive. I recommend this place for a stay in Petra.

Great hotel for a visit to Petra. Staff are super friendly and breakfast offers decent options (fresh bread would be appreciated though).

The room is simple, clean and well designed. They have managed to make the most out of limited resources. It’s not a luxury hotel and for what you pay, it’s a really good offer.

It’s not a long walk to the visitor centre, but it should be pointed out that it’s a very steep walk and part of it is unlit. After a day walking around in Petra we ended up driving the 5 mins it takes to get to tourist street, just to save us from having the walk up the hill. Felt extravagant, but my legs were not having it..

Rooftop terrace has massive potential of a cafe with some drinks and snack to enjoy the stunning sunsets even more, but it looked like this is coming.

Warmly recommend this place for an unpretentious and friendly vibe!

Stayed for two nights while visiting Petra, and it is literally a 2 min drive from the visitor center so great location to start. The ambience is solid, cool exterior, with a dining room offering dinner+breakfast and terrace with alcoholic bar and sweeping views of the lights dotting Wadi Musa

I was in the 4-bed room and can’t complain - met a few cool people and curtained-beds were offered. Offer lunch boxes for the road in Petra but they were subpar.

Hosts were nice and helpful, a good stop while seeing the wonders of Petra.

I couldn't be more impressed with the overall experience. The hotel's location is simply fantastic - less than 10 minutes away from the visitors center of Petra, which allowed me to maximize my time exploring the site without any hassle.

The staff were excellent on all levels, from the moment I checked in, their warm welcome and genuine friendliness made me feel like a valued guest. They were very accommodating and incredibly knowledgeable about Petra, answering all my questions and providing insightful suggestions on places to visit and activities to try.

The highlight of my stay was the rooftop bar with its stunning panoramic views of Petra's mountains. I tried the local beer and it was really good! It was nice to enjoy the breathtaking sunset after a full day of exploration of the site.

The value for the price paid was exceptional!! I strongly recommend Nomads hotel to travelers looking for an unforgettable, hassle-free stay in Petra.

First of all, the exterior of this hotel has such a vibe and aesthetically pleasing. I like the concept of how everything you need in a city is clumped up into one location.

The dinner (which is a buffet style) is sooo good. I didn't have breakfast and they also have a lunch box where you can take snacks when visiting inside Petra. They also have an amazing view of the rooftop and offer drinks as well. I didn't even attempt to explore the city to find restaurants or cafes.

The room that I have was a typical bed sharing hostel but the attached bathroom is a new experience for me as I don't need to share with more people other than my 3 other roommates.

The staff are AMAZING! Every single one of them. They helped me to book a bus going to the next city, to save time and money by giving tips and tricks on how to visit Petra efficiently.

What I didn't like was the hike going up and down from the hotel to Petra is quite tiring but if you have a car it will be helpful. But for me, it didn't bother me. It's like a pre-workout before walking and exploring Petra so that's great I guess.

I have not had the opportunity to stay at this hotel. I made a non-refundable reservation before the conflict between Israel and Palestine began and a few weeks later the airline I was going to travel with canceled my flights and the Government of Spain warned that it was not advisable to go to the area and that the correct was to cancel or postpone the trip.

For these reasons I contacted the hotel through all possible means but they neither wanted to refund my money nor responded to my messages nor did they accept a change of dates.

I have traveled all over the world and experienced similar situations and I have NEVER, EVER seen a lack of empathy like this. It is the worst experience I have ever had because even the Jordanian government has granted me a postponement from Jordan while the people at this hotel did not even respond to the messages. UNBELIEVABLE.

Is this a hostel rather than a hotel? We are 4 adults, 59 years old. Is this place for youngsters and back packers?

I found it very ‘inter-generation ‘ - all ages hanged and chatted on the terrace. Not a basic party place just nice people
