This is a great location for a hostel, it has the best dinner I've had in months (and all homemade) but the wifi can drop out. The staff are incredibly friendly and it's very close to Petra. Great for solo travellers
Located 5 minutes away from Petra’s visitor center, the hotel offers great location, services and a nice view of the surrounding valley, and with a healthy breakfast includes, choosing to come back was an easy choice: highly recommended!
Warm hotel managed by a welcoming and kind team. The rooms are efficient and simply decorated. Breakfast and dinner are made of local dishes prepared by hand by local people and based on fresh products. Moreover, the hostel is located only 2 minutes drive from the archaeological site of Petra, which is very convenient to arrive there very early in the morning before the heat and the world arrive. I recommend this place for a stay in Petra.
Great hotel for a visit to Petra. Staff are super friendly and breakfast offers decent options (fresh bread would be appreciated though). The room is simple, clean and well designed. They have managed to make the most out of limited resources. It’s not a luxury hotel and for what you pay, it’s a really good offer. It’s not a long walk to the visitor centre, but it should be pointed out that it’s a very steep walk and part of it is unlit. After a day walking around in Petra we ended up driving the 5 mins it takes to get to tourist street, just to save us from having the walk up the hill. Felt extravagant, but my legs were not having it.. Rooftop terrace has massive potential of a cafe with some drinks and snack to enjoy the stunning sunsets even more, but it looked like this is coming. Warmly recommend this place for an unpretentious and friendly vibe!…
I don’t know how the ratings are done, but I will rate this hotel correctly. The bathroom is old and almost is falling apart! Our toilet seat is broken. The breakfast is lousy. It’s very noisy. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!
Nice location and very friendly staff, especially the two girls at the reception who were extremely kind and helpful. The hotel itself is located just few minutes away from the archeological site and the mountains' view from the breakfast room is outstanding. Our room was cosy even though the bathroom was far too small, cramped and really uncomfortable. Plentiful breakfast and all in all nice atmosphere.Recommended!
We enjoyed our stay at Nomads. The food was good, the bed was comfy, and we enjoyed meeting all of the young people who were staying there. There was a 10-15 minute downhill walk to the entrance of Petra that was a nice way to start the day.
Good location, comfortable bed. Basic yet tasty breakfast. Sometimes erratic internet. Poor design of the bathroom (wasted space). Shower drain slow to empty. Very friendly and caring staff. Very inviting common areas.
The Nomads sits atop of a hill with some beautiful view over Wadi Musa. Overall the place has new rooms, a good shared lounge, a nice rooftop terrace and a friendly staff. Nonetheless, it seems to me they really try push you buy the dinner they offer since the shared kitchen is absolutely terrible, not even a knife to cut was available and had to make a trip to their actual kitchen to get one, two floors above. This is pretty sad cause is also the whole meaning behind the "nomad" concept. Generally it was a pleasant stay.
We were travelling with 2 families with kids. We spent 2 nights in Nomad hotel with fantastic service. The hotel have a nice, comfortable lobby. The staff especially manager was very kind and helpfull. We really recommend this place. It’s close to the Petra visitors center.
