Stayed here for 1 night on a group tour of Petra. The view of the hotel is great, you see the town of Petra on one side and the mountain on the other side. Very picturesque especially at night. The hotel is nice, comfortable bed. The TV channels in my room were not clear. Both dinner and breakfast are fantastic. Will definitely come back.

We had a very pleasant stay at Petra Guest House. The room was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. I left my sunglasses on the patio after dinner. The next morning I checked with the front desk. Hanadi said she would open the restaurant and check their lost and found. After breakfast a smiling Hanadi was holding my sunglasses for me. Thank you Hanadi!

We were with a Titan/Saga tour and I had high hopes for this hotel. First impressions were very good. Room was comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities. Toiletries, but no shower gel. Small bath + shower. Unfortunately, our first evening meal was a bit of a shambles. Our tables were reserved for us and there was no flexibility, so friends had to sit separately in some cases, even when other tables remained empty for the whole evening. The waiting staff did not write down the drink orders, so it was pot luck if yours arrived. They were very short staffed and were running around like headless chickens. The buffet food was good although certain dishes did run out. Breakfast was fine the first day, but the following day it was very busy and again certain food items ran…

How to describe the disappointment that is Petra Guesthouse, proudly robbing guests of 300 euros a night? Honestly, you'll be thrilled with the impressive "vintage" atmosphere, including broken drawers and furniture so worn out you'll feel like you've visited your great-grandparents' haunted house! Now imagine trying to take a morning shower in this supposedly luxurious abode, only to experience the magic of an almost non-existent water head. After wandering around Petra all day, you'll undoubtedly appreciate the water savings at the expense of your own cleansing experience. And on the off chance that you do get some sleep before 5:30 a.m., be prepared for a rude exposé - a joyous symphony created by the staff loading your luggage under your window. Amazing hotel with excellent big, clean and spacious rooms. The staff were very kind, the location is perfect, very close to the entrance of Petra.
