During my stay in Wadi Musa, I had my dinners in Beit Al Taybeh. What a wonderful found! The food is home made and great here. Once you try it you don’t want to go elsewhere. I came here thanks to Jolanda who was hosting me in The Fig Tree Villa. The food is made and served with love and the portions are generous.
We had an excellent diner here. All fresh cooked by local cook. Did’t sleep here, but the rooms looked fantastic and romantic. Next time in Petra I’ll love to stay here and enjoy the stunning view over the valley.
A beautiful, authentic place with a stuning sunset-view from the rooftop. The food was delicious and the best of all was the warm welkom and the good vibe of the people and the place. We really felt like special guests with the personal touch and care.
Wat a fantastic place so nearby Petra in Jordanië. Beautiful rooms, authentic, romantic, place with delisciuos food and very, very kind people. I wish I was there again. Thank you for our stay. Krista
For two days we were the guests of Fadi in Beit al Tayben. What a place to call home. Stunning views, beautiful authentic resthouse, super food, warm welcome and help of Fadi and his staff. The perfect basecamp to visit Petra or go on hiking trails in the beautifull surroundings. Also a perfect place for a restday.
If you love to stay in authentic places instead of sterile 5 star hotels that all look and feel the same - this is the gem you are looking for. Situated in the village of Tayba roughly 10 km prior to Petra. The house is situated just on the outskirts and has been fully renovated. It offers various types of rooms we had a double and a twin bed room. The bathrooms are shared. The rustic look has been kept to keep the authentic feel but modern facilities have been added to make it very comfortable. My husband and I slept like babies. Upon request we asked for a traditional dinner called Mansaf and what a meal it was.
We stayed 2 nights in Febuary at this incredible typical place with charm and nice views. We felt very well welcome since the beginning and the room was nice and comfortable. We had very nice breakfasts with home made products every morning included in the price. We also had a typical delicious abundant dinner the first night. The employees and hosts helped us to arrange the different activities we wanted to do in Petra and Wadi rum desert, as well as our transfers from Amman to Petra and the way back. There were only some heating problems in our room the first night and they took care immediately to solve them. Finally, we would like to highlight the kindness and professionality of the employees that work at and for Beit al Taybeh.
I was so glad to have found this place, especially after being unimpressed with the lodging offers in Jordan. This was exactly what I look for in hotels/B&B abroad: charming, small, authentic, stylish, topped off with great service. The place is really cute, our room was great, the food we had was delicious (in fact, my favorite meal in our week-long trip in Jordan was our first dinner here). The house is an easy and gorgeous 15-minute drive from Petra's visitors' center. The communication by email with Jolanda prior to arrival was easy, fast, and precise, and at the place with our host Narjes perfect. I highly recommend Beit al Taybeh.
What a find!!! Full of character and all the people working there are lovely. Very confortable bed. Great views. No heating in the rooms however, but walls are very thick so it is ok most of the year. I would come back again with no hesitation.
Stayed here for two nights with five friends. We took all six rooms in this unspoilt restored house right on the edge of the village. The views over the valley below were stunning. Our host, Fadi, was great. Very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Along with the rest of his team, we were made to feel completely welcome and at home. We used it as a base to visit Petra, about a 10-15 minute drive.
