Room basic - mattress and pillows ok. Great choice of food at buffet for breakfast and dinner, but cash only for extras including drink (great that they had a bar!). lifts were hit and miss - one of the two broke twice while we were there. A little way from the centre so not ideal for exploring at the end of a long day.

When we walked into the room we could smell something nasty coming from the bathroom. The room was freezing cold and we were also given a double bed when we needed two singles. We were told our meal was included so we ate at the hotel Buffet. The food was terrible. There was a cat jumping on peoples chairs whilst they were eating. We did not have a choice of seating and ended up shoved on the end of someone else’s table. At the end of the meal we were told we had to pay for it which is fine but we were told it was included. If we had known this we could have eaten elsewhere. The food was extremely expensive for what it was and we were made to feel like herded cattle. We feel were spoken down to by a member of staff possibly because we are women. The Wi-Fi in our room was also awful.

This hotel has an amazing view across Wadi Musa, being high up on a hill. However, it is a bit of a trek down into the town, and a definite hair-raising taxi ride back up again! The hotel was OK, but seemed luxurious after 5 nights camped in the desert. The food was good and plentiful, and the staff friendly. although some times it felt a bit letchy. There seemed to be a lot of confusion around bar pricing, and about how you were able to pay. We were told cash only on one occasion, but after that they put everything on the bill. When we came to check out, however, they said they didn't take credit cards, which pretty much wiped out our cash. Don't know what we would have done if we hadn't had any cash! The room was OK, but the bathroom was a bit on the grubby side. All told, it was an acceptable 2 night stay.

The hotel is on the top of the hill with beautiful panoramic view on the town. The hotel is nice, clean, with very friendly staff. The food is good, with different kind of salad, fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and cakes. The wine is excellent. The first night we got two glasses of wine for free. Staff (boys who work there) are very kind and friendly.

The only good thing about this hotel are Two things: The excellent view of Wadi Musa. And the friendly staff. The room was OK. Bathroom had no light. The worst part is the breakfast. The worst I had in Jordan..

It says 3* but I’d give it 2* ..typical hotel between backpackers and cheap hotel. Used for our trek from Dead Sea to Petra..big groups of people. Double room was small...rooms varied greatly in size. Some very grubby with very stained carpets. Was ok for a couple of nights. Staff were nice (apart from the men trying to get you back to their room at every opportunity...but that’s normal I believe sadly...certainly would not have wanted to be here alone), rooms well equipped with tv, hairdryer, basic toiletries,a safe and a fridge. Sadly my room had a constant noise all night which was like water boarding torture...like a pneumatic drill on and off all night..no idea what it was but ear plugs did not help. bed was very hard but the linen was good. It’s a taxi ride down to Petra, not in walking distance. The restaurant and food were very good and they even put a full breakfast on for us at 4am so they are very helpful.
