Love Bubble Luxotel Petra!

First the bubble - it was divided into a tiny shower room (and toilet), are almost 360 degree clear bubble sitting room and a bedroom with privacy. Very well equipped. The jacuzzi is a bonus point for this hotel!! Make sure you spare some time for it and watch the sunset in the jacuzzi together with an icy coke (free from fridge). However, the bubble does get very very hot during the day, we spent hours playing around with the air conditioning to adjust to a comfortable temperature. At night can't really see the Stars clearly from the clear bubble top in the bed room as it is a bit dirty. But don't expect to have complete darkness as the moon may be so bright (in our case) that you may find it difficult to fall asleep!

The restaurant - yummy food!! With lots of choices including western and local dishes. No alcohol for sell though. You may want to get your bottle else where and bring it in.

Overall - staff are super friendly and helpful. They dealt with our enquiries and needs asap. They have free shuttles bus to Petra and also you can get tickets to Petra at Night at reception too. The cats at the resort are all very friendly too. They always come to our dome and say hi. :)

Love our stay here. Will definitely recommend people to stay at this resort.

This was an unforgettable experience! The unique location and rooms coupled with the warm hospitality and stunning location equaled a truly remarkable stay in Petra.

Even though the location of the bubbles is remote, Petra is still close by (about 15 min) with a free daily shuttle. The Wi-Fi worked fairly well throughout my stay, and the bubbles are very well appointed with beautiful furnishings and amenities. The shower was hot, bottled water and beverages were provided, and the Jacuzzi was a wonderful addition to the long days of hiking in Petra. The bubbles are lovely in the evening for watching the stars, but keep in mind that the sun comes up early and is very bright. If you want to sleep in, request that your bubble is covered in the evenings.
Also worth noting, the bubbles with the best views are at the bottom of the hill, requiring quite a hike to get to the dining hall and entrance - But worth it if you are able.

I really enjoyed the Bedouin tent in the evenings after dinner with tea, snacks, Shisha, music and dancing - It was a fun way to get to know other guests and the staff.

The food was quite good, and accommodations were made for me being a vegetarian at each meal. The staff is very attentive and makes you feel at home. The chef even accommodated my special requests with a smile; like when I asked for tabouli for breakfast. :) There is no alcohol served on site, so if you want a bottle of wine for the Jacuzzi, bring it with you.

In particular, I would like to thank Dirar, Abdula, and Suahib for going out of their way to make sure my stay was wonderful. As a female solo traveler, I felt very safe staying here and would definitely recommend it for others traveling alone.
Wonderful hospitality and one of a kind experience!

We've been wanting to visit this place for a while, and I must say it really exceeded our expectations.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The bubbles are very well maintained, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the jacuzzi was a game changer.

There are many bubble camps and hotels in Jordan, but this one was for sure the best we've ever stayed at or heard of.

The best experience from this visit was sleeping in your own private bubble under the stars. You literally wake up during the night just to check out the amazing view right from the comfort of your bed.

The jacuzzi was also an extreme plus. This is the only bubble hotel in Jordan that offers a jacuzzi which really makes your trip. The water is heated so you can actually spend the evenings hanging out in the jacuzzi and looking up at the stars.

Since you are so close to the historic sites of Petra, we strongly advise you visit Petra by Night, which can be arranged at the front desk. If you don't have a car, they even offer a shuttle bus.

Lastly, everything at this place was so well organized. Dinner is served right before the trip to Petra by Night, to make sure that you get to enjoy the sunset from you bubble, and then visit the historic sites of Petra.

Since we were trying to social distance during our trip, the staff were very accommodating and actually arranged to have our dinner and breakfast delivered to the room, which was very nice of them.

If you are considering spending the night in Petra, I strongly recommend that you consider this accommodation option.

If you prefer spending the night in Wadi Rum, then make sure to check out the other facility operated by the same owner; Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel.

First the negatives:
Stayed for one night to experience this unique type of hotel. We were greeted at reception by being informed that there was no water supply at that time but that it would be restored within the hour. Stayed with family and it was as well that we did as our hot tub was empty (one of the things we were looking forward to) so we had to share our daughters family's one. Water did come back on but our hot tub was never filled during our stay. We were told the hotel had been open for 18 months but it looked a bit more tired than that. Wooden flooring was coming apart at the joints in the room, door handles had obviously come loose and were held on with screws that were much too long therefore stuck out. The doors in and out were catching badly and you needed to give them a mighty shove to open them. Around the sink unit and at the joints of the rooms was dirty as was the door channel around the shower. Staying on the shower this leaked due to the drain being blocked and flooded into the main room. On the final morning we were told by one of the restaurant staff that the water was going off again at 11.00 am and that we would not be able to shower, wash or use toilets after that time. We pointed out that checkout was 12.00am and check in for new guests was 2.00pm so why not shut the water off during that time. After some phone calls between staff this was agreed to.
Positives:
This was a unique experience and watching the sunset from the hot tub, albeit not our own, was beautiful. Meals were fine and restaurant staff were very attentive always trying to please. There was a Bedouin tent where there was some traditional entertainment which was a nice way to round off the evening.

It was such a shame about the negatives and I firmly believe that with either a change of management or some training for the existing managers this hotel could be really nice instead of ok.

Located about 15 minutes by car from the Petra main entrance, and with a view over the mountains, the property has a great location. The west facing aspect means that you can sit on tour private terrace and watch the sun go down.

The bubbles are very private from one another, screened on 3 sides. Each bubble has a lounge pod, bedroom pod, bathroom pod, and airlock. There’s minimal privacy inside.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner on 2 nights were a buffet. On the 3rd night and 3rd breakfast, these were changed without warning - due to low occupancy.

The main communal spaces are cool and subdued (some might say gloomy). This may be traditional, but we didn’t want to spend time there.

Nice hot tubs. Well maintained grounds. A few small house-keeping and maintenance niggles.

Recommended.

I stayed in UFO luxotel instead of bubble but it was definitely worth it. The room is so cozy and the resort is just another world! The UFO room itself has balcony and cozy room with comfy chairs to enjoy the view! Also we didn't know it's included of dinner but it's good as we don't know where to go to get real hot food. After we checked in the receptionist offered us to see a Bedouin cooking ritual and we were thrilled. Too bad we didn't take the stargazing tour, it was too cold to stay outside. Definitely recommended hotel to stay in Jordan and it was worth it!

Staying at the Bubble Luxotel Petra is tremendous experience! For those fortunate enough to be visiting Petra, these bubbles offer another memorable experience outside of the famed archaeological site.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and stayed at the bubbles for two nights during our visit to the Wadi Musa area. The 'resort' is located approximately 15 minutes away from the main entrance to Petra. The bubbles offer a nice amount of solitude and peace away from the crowds of Wadi Musa town. The accommodation is nicely appointed with all of the mod cons you would expect from a hotel room. Here you will be stunned by the beautiful clear skies at night (star gazing is phenomenal) and remarkable sunsets. The chance to enjoy the relaxing hot tubs after a long day of hiking in Petra is perfect. The contrast between the futuristic & surreal bubbles with the desert environment is something that will stay with you for a long time.

During your stay at the bubble, you will be impressed by the selection of food available in the included breakfast and dinner buffets. My wife and I both do not eat meat but we found that there were plenty of options available for us with the included meals. The food is high quality and made fresh daily, with changing menus. The chef seems to take a lot of pride in the satisfaction of the guests as he was greeting the guests and ensuring that everyone was happy. Generally speaking most of the staff here were very friendly and worked to make sure that the guests had an enjoyable stay.

We would certainly love to stay at the Bubble Luxotel Petra again! It was a fantastic experience for us.

This hotel offers such a unique stay and experience when visiting Petra. We stayed for 2 nights and had an absolutely amazing time.

There is no other experience or opportunity like this in Petra and Wadi Musa. The bubbles themselves are extremely well put together, spacious, unique and offer an incredible experience. The addition of a jacuzzi on the patio is wonderful, no better way to wind down after a long day of hiking and climbing! This truly is a luxury addition to the hotel.

The service from the staff is exceptional, they provide a genuine warm and homely feeling. The staff treated us as if we were family with all sorts of little touches that made the stay that extra bit special.

The staff offer shuttle services to Petra which is very convenient. On the day of our arrival, they took us into the local town for a wonderful lunch. Throughout the entire stay, each member of staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and having a good time.

A special thank you to Hadeel for treating us as if we were family. A huge thank you to all housekeeping staff, they are all wonderful and help massively in creating such a pleasant environment

No complaints whatsoever and will 100% recommend. This hotel is a must when visiting Petra!

I thoroughly recommend this hotel! It is literally 5* and has everything you need. Rooms are beautiful, food is great and staff are so welcoming. The entrance of the hotel is stunning - you forget you’re in a bubble! The rooms itself have heating too but can be dry (bring eye drops!). My first experience of any bubble hotel and it truly was the best. Looking at the stars above your bed was a magical experience and the jacuzzi outside each room is amazing. Staff were always there to help with anything. Thank you to the staff and team for running such a beautiful hotel.

We used a private tour for all of our transportation needs, but I checked the other traveler questions posted here, and it was noted there is a shuttle service to/from Petra. I suggest contacting the hotel about the specifics (cost, timing, reservations).
