A perfect choice to visit Petra on a budget. We spent 2 peaceful nights as a couple in panoramatic room. The staffs are exceptional. They help us arrange private driver to Wadi rum in reasonable price and they can arrange Wadi Rum tour for you too. Dinner and breakfast offered by hostel have lots of choices. You can buy water and snacks there at better prices than the markets around. Box rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Hostel is located 5 minutes walk from the Petra site. Do not hesitate to book with them.
A perfect choice to visit Petra on a budget. The staff is adorable. Dinner and breakfast have lots of choice. They even pack lunch bags if needed for the days on the site. They sell water and snacks at better prices than the mini markets around and everyone in the staff is kind and smiling. Bathrooms are cleaned very often. And the location is literally 5 minutes walk from the site. I spent 5 nights there and would be happy to visit again if I go back to Petra.
I've owned a 50-bed hostel in the US for five years, traveled to 50 countries, and stayed in countless hostels. The only and obvious choice in Petra for lodging is the Petra Cabin Hostel, and I'll tell you why. You won't find a hostel closer to the Petra entrance -- just 5-10 minute walk. The hostel main floor (fourth floor) is open and spacious with lots of seating and a beautiful view of the surrounding desert landscape. Perfect for meeting others or getting a little work done. Their chef, Maged, is a cheerful and enthusiastic woman who serves a breakfast AND dinner buffet daily for super reasonable prices. However, if you have extra time (and extra cash), the hostel is still only 5-10 minute walk from a row of local restaurants. The general manager, Sharif, is a generous, kind, approachable man who speaks good English and is ever present to serve however he can. His calm and thoughtful management approach reveals his wisdom and years of experience. The beds themselves are clean and comfortable in a pod or "cabin" style and there's always available space in the bathrooms. The hostel is connected to all transportation to all destinations as well as local activities including Turkish bath sessions. I was pleased to stay here and would stay here again and recommend it to those looking to connect with others and share adventures in Petra.…
The staff of this hostel is really nice and really helpful! Even so I did not even check in in the hostel, they let me store my bag there for two days, let me use their bathroom, WiFi and Refilling Water. Thank you very much for your kindness and your hospitality! :)

Due to my work and passion for travelling I travel a lot and about this hostel I would like to say the following comments. Honestly is a great Hostel. The people are great and very friendly all the time, the help for all kind of advices, the cabins are very very confortable, good beds inside, very quiet area, absolutely recommend to have dinner and breakfast, badrooms totally clean...., and at nights, there is (if someone want to join) a great atmosphere in the common areas with videos about the history of Petra and great sofas to seat around with other travellers. I am very sure that when I come back one day to Petra, for sure I will stay here. Thanks again to all the people working there.
Abed is an amazing guy that is working his job with his heart. I felt like at homo directly upon my arrival. Ambient is beautiful and cozy, also there were a lot of other travelers to contact with. And breakfast and dinner were really tasteful. Loved it!
Staying overnight at this friendly cosy place has been a great addition to the Jordan adventure, since so many like-minded backpackers flock the hostel, which is literally a couple of minutes walk from the Petra's main entrance. The only thing that was slightly lacking is the number of power sockets at the lobby/reception area. But the hostel staff will ensure you do not leave the place unless you're fully charged, emotionally and otherwise (:
The hostel is 5 min walk away to the entrance to Petra - so perfect place to stay. The staff is very friendly and there is a good atmosphere. The dinner and breakfast is a little bit expensive. The hostel itself it clean and the cabins are comfortable.
