Strange thing where the Expedia confirmed booking was half the price of what the hotel said we had to pay. Nice room though, great views and amazing dinner. Free unlimited turkish coffee for breakfast was great. Ran out of gas for the heater in the room in the night but it wasn't that cold.

We spent one night in this hostel-style hotel on a hiking tour of the beautiful Dana reserve. The owner kindly found us a room last minute and grateful we were as it was full!! The highlight of this place is definitely the rooftop views of the sunset across the Wadi and the incredible dinner spread - the best food we’ve had in Jordan However the room and bathroom setup was very basic - certainly more of a hostel style. We didn’t have a usable shower, the doors didn’t lock, and the room was basic. Overall though, for the price, Dana Tower is the best place to rest in Dana and the owner was both friendly and very helpful with arranging tours. I’ll be back!!

Dana is a small village, most of the houses are destroyed and there are 2-3 hotels. there are not luxurious hotels here, but simple accommodation. The Tower Hotel is very nice, clean and with the best food of the holiday. After dinner we danced all together with the other guests. We loved our night in Dana!!!!

If you want luxury - it’s not for you. If you want a genuine experience with lovely people in a truly special location, and you are to ignore the insignificant- then it is. Friendly staff, good food, magnificent views and overall a great experience.

Room Tip: Parking available, but limited. Uneven floors, you need to be steady on your feet. Great location...

Only had dinner here at the recommendation of the local guide who works there. It was a veritable feast- one of the best meals we ate in Jordan. They had no problem with us bringing our own wine. The place looked great with many lounging areas- full of character.

We arrived at 4pm and leave at 9.30am the day after. In between, it was a fantastic experience : 2h trip over the dana reserve with Salem, a marvelous guy who loves his land and sing some typical jordan songs while climbing the Mountain.. An homemade diner with 10 meals and local foods (one of the best culinary xp we had during our 2 weeks holidays). A night in a charming and quiet room. A wonderful sunrise and breakfast with a view ! Dont hesitate, this is magic !

When we arrived, we were told we could choose our room. Unfortunately, if we had a real choice, we wouldn't have chosen any of the rooms we were shown. In the end, we had no choice but to be in a cramped dark musty room, beds with broken springs and hardly any padding, and no place to put our luggage. We ended up using the blanket as padding for the bed, otherwise, we would have broken springs digging into us if we tried to sleep. This meant we were cold as it became quite cold at night. The hotel was crowded with mostly young backpackers, and dinner in the poorly-ventilated dining room was crowded with no one wearing masks while serving themselves at the buffet and no hand sanitizer in sight. This hotel should be avoided unless you're young, don't care where you sleep, and have no fear of catching covid.

We stopped by to take a dinner. It was average... not very fresh bread, hummus, salad and a few meatballs - portion was small. Not totaly worth the money we payed. It wasn't cheap. Staff was very friendly and pleasent. The place is cozy with nice view.

We stayed in a room with private bathroom and double bed. The room is nice and big with a comfortable and a lot of blankets. Our trip was in december and luckily the room had (gas)heating. The common areas inside and outside and communal dinners are a great way to meet other travellers. The food was delicious and among the best we had in Jordan. The staff go out of their way to help you and are friendly from early in the morning till night. They can arrange guided hikes (we really enjoyed our 3 hour hike with guide and freshly prepared lunch), onward transportation and laundry. I have really fond memories of the days we spend in Dana Tower Hotel!
