Brilliant holiday here, the staff are super friendly, attentive and helpful throughout the resort and made the stay even better. Special mention on that front to Orlando from the preferred club who looked after us brilliantly. He was always offering assistance, finding us at the pool / beach to check things were all to our liking. He was great from the tour of the resort on the first day through to arranging our luggage collection for checkout to make things easier for us, he also took pleasure in helping me plan a special meal down at the beach one night which was above and beyond what you expect but he did a brilliant job! Beach and pool areas are great, really clean and fantastic service of drinks throughout the day, the preferred pool is quiet and relaxed and the main pool a little livelier, with a brilliant range of activities on throughout the day including sports, games, exercises, yoga, dancing and more. They are all put on by the animation / entertainments team who were great, Roger, Omega, and Baby Face in particular got us involved in all sorts of games! The restaurants were spot on, the buffet is great and the a la carte options were brilliant too, couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The gym is basic and fitness focussed but clean and well maintained, we made use of this most days and the staff were really friendly. Good on site casino and nightclub as well! Overall a fantastic hotel, I would definitely return in the future.…

Winter break - PERFECT!
We had a visit planned to the Now Larmar and we were scheduled to arrive on December 21, 2019. I found out prior to our departure, but after we booked the reservation, that the hotel had been closed for renovations. It was expected to open before our arrival. Well, it did not open on the expected reopen date but it did it re-open and allow guests to check in the day we arrived on December 21st. We were upgraded to preferred status (private pool, private lounge with appetizers and top shelf drinks in the lobby and a special bar near the pool with top shelf drinks. I’m not sure I’d pay for the preferred status, pretty good up charge daily per person, but it sure was nice to have! Everything worked out perfect, the property is beautiful, the staff is amazing and the food is delicious. Being newly opened after major renovations, we expected workers to be throughout the property, banging, cutting, painting etc but that was not the case for us, it was very quiet and beautiful upon our arrival. The staff there is incredible!! Jordana at the pool, Beyoncé, Big Baby, Little Baby, Cappuccino, Omega (entertainment staff) was beyond incredible!! Poche at the restaurants was my go to guy! He had my diet cokes ordered for me before I even sat down. The hostesses at the restaurants are amazing as well. Had a mix up for our XMas eve reservation and they fixed it and had us seated quickly. Don’t miss the coffee bar near the stage area!! The Barrista was amazing and as nice as could be!!! Great coffees with Bailey, Grand Mariner etc was a perfect end to a perfect day! They also have incredible deserts at the coffee shop - not that we needed another desert every night! 🤣 We did some excursions, scuba, atv’ing and parasailing. Perfect!! Apple vacations desk was on site at the hotel and they were so helpful with anything we needed. A fantastic trip, we plan on returning one day soon!…

Good, solid family resort
This is overall a solid resort in Punta Cana. It's right on the beach, has an excellent communal pool area which is clean and well organised. There are plenty of things to keep everyone occupied with regular activities organised by the pool and the beach. The beach is exceptional and the service for drinks and food very well run. If you're prepared to tip once in a while you'll get looked after very well.

Great trip, wonderful people
Hands down the best part of our trip was the amazing people, every single one from the beginning of the trip til the end. Some who stood out: Warnes (who never stopped smiling and went out of his way to make our stay special), Miguel (our butler who immediately gave us his what’s app number and responded if we had a question even on his Saturday night off), Bernardo (our waiter who always brought my husband a beer before he even asked), Juan (who made delicious drinks at the lobby bar), and Antonio Bandero (at the pool bar who mixed drinks on top of his head without looking then danced with the full drink on his head). We will definitely be back.

How much does it cost to rent a Cabana on the beach for 6 days? Or are they rented per day? If so, how much does that cost. They look good, travelling mid-June. Thanks in advance for the help.

We don’t smoke so I’m not 100% about this but I’m pretty sure you are ok to smoke on the balcony

We are a party of 4 with deluxe Garden rooms booked April 2020 we booked with travelbag UK.? . I AM VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THE ROOMS ? not being on the Now larimar hotel location ? ...as advertised when booked , so I asked travelbag to investigate this and had a reply from the product team saying the ( Now Garden is not part of AMResorts anymore it's a different hotel now and it USED to be Now larimars sister hotel ,but far from the beach .?.. AND ASSURED US THAT ..we are booked at the now larimar beach front property! with deluxe Garden rooms and also goes on to say about the enhancements that have been made ...... NOW I DON'T KNOW WHO TO BELIEVE ? AND NOW CONCERNED ABOUT BUILDING WORKS TOO ............. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL US WHATS GOING ON WITH RENOVATIONS AND WILL THERE STILL BE RENOVATIONS? IN APRIL AND WHERE OUR DELUXE GARDEN ROOMS WILL BE LOCATED THANK YOU FROM 4 GUESTS MAYBE ! ps there are lots of reviews that's have made us very worried...

what kind of american beer do they offer, also what kind of liquor do they offer top shelf? Captain morgan or Malibu?
The cabana had Presidente, Presidente Light, Coors light and Heineken. Preferred has a lot of nice labels. Johnny Walker, Disaronna, etc.
