What can I say, The Level is something else, they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is completely perfect! We were a small group of family and friends and Nahiomy was able to accommodate all of us in nearby rooms, and Katherine helped us a loooot by taking care of our requests, we wanted yo exchange gifts and needed a private area to do so and she found a nice space by the beach. The food here is pretty awesome, we spent most of our time at the Riviera restaurant, buffet 3 times a day with a a la carte option for dinner, Jose and Roberto and everyone else at the restaurant helped us a lot by finding a place for us to sit together, 16 people!! We also had a great experience with Marian and Dulce at the Riviera bar. The hotel will always have someone to drive you around in a golf cart, Lorenzo and Pichi were always 1 minute away! thanks so much! the team is great. I hope the hotel keeps up this great service. The hotel has great rooms, everything very clean, no complaints there. We are planning on coming back for a weekend in January 2020 and we are really looking forward for the trip.

My wife and I with our daughter (6 years) just spent 13 nights at the Melia Caribe Beach Level for Everyone resort. It was a great experience and we were sad to leave. Overall, it was a “Caribbean paradise island”. It is like the feeling you get when going to Disneyland – you are immersed in a surrealistic themed environment and ultimately decide you want to stay. The resort was vast, clean, the architecture is palatial, the 100’s of acres of grounds were a tropical paradise and the staff were always kind and offering to make our stay exceptional! What’s not to like! Level For Everyone As many reviews have pointed out there are really four resorts in one and while there are certain areas that you may go, everyone generally shares the resort. We were The Level at Melia Caribe Beach – ‘for Everyone’. Our only restrictions were that we were not able to go to the Quimera restaurant/Rooftop Bar nor the The Level at Punta Cana Adults Only Beach – even without our child present. Other than that, the entire resort was open to us. Our daughter enjoyed the Kid’s Club when we wanted to go to one of the adults-only restaurants. As Level for Everyone we had exclusive access to the Riviera Restaurant and Barefoot Grill Beach/Bar as well as the VIP lounge. These have top shelf alcohol. We also had the pleasure of being taken care of by two full time guest hosts. These fine gentlemen were almost always available and checking in on us to assist us with checking in/out, arranging private rides around the resort, arranging our luggage etc. They take a few days off every 10 or so days and their schedule varies but they always made sure we were covered. Our guest hosts were Reynaldo Hodge and Jose Acosta. They were both great and we became friends. When they were sometimes not available in the morning, they gave us the contact information of another guest host. Room Our room was the Level Grand Suite – Building 52, 2nd floor garden view and later Building 50 3rd floor garden view. Both were beautiful but the first smelled a bit moldy, so we requested and were immediately relocated to building 50 which was perfect. I learned that at every tropical location the air conditioners need to be running essentially continually to avoid any moldy smell – this first room may have been vacant for a few days. The views from the garden view windows and patio were of the back of the resort offering privacy and a view of a perfectly manicured Caribbean jungle! You could hear a low hum from a generator from the neighboring resort from 52 but quiet from 50. The Melia Guest services contacted us prior to our arrival and asked us if we were celebrating anything during our stay. My wife and I wanted the event to be like a honeymoon so we told them this. When we arrived, the room was decorated lovely with flower petals arranged on the bed, balloons and Champagne. We twice had room service for breakfast. It was kindly delivered within a half hour of ordering and the omelets/coffee/milk were all warm. You can use the Melia App to order room service the night before if you want. The server brought the items into our room to the dining room table and it was quite nice. We learned that you can be quite specific on your requests or else the standard meals/condiments are offered. Kids Club/Water Park The Kids Club and associated water park were good. The facilities were pretty new and included a private pool for the Kids Club, new play structures as well as several large kids club rooms. They offer the children fresh breakfast and lunch and planned activities. Our daughter participated in kids’ yoga on the beach, a pool party, a “Pirate party” and face painting almost daily. We recommend that you participate when a special Kids Park event is planned because there is more structure at these times. You can find out when the events are happening by checking the Melia App and confirming with the Kid’s Club staff. Julissa and Johanna were exceptional and always had a full heart for the children. The water park is located adjacent to the Kid’s Club and does require adult supervision. It is new and quite nice. There are three pool areas for all age groups including interactive water activities and slides. We always found a spot in the shade and enjoyed a few hours a day there. There is also the O Grill snack bar as part of the water park where kids and parents have snack lunch, enjoy a “El Presidente Beer” and the perfect weather. Alcohol here is limited to beer and you can order Virgin Pina Coladas, Daiquiris, Cokes etc. Restaurants We ate at every restaurant at least once. Our favorites were the two adult only ala-carte restaurants Muoi -Asian and Casa Nostra - Italian. The ambiance, service and food were elevated in both. The associated bar located at the entrance to these two restaurants is called the Jigger Bar. It is elegant and we always had a cocktail here before we were seated. The bartender here is named Keirber – an expert mixer offering friendly service. We liked to arrive a bit early near the opening hour (about 6 to 6:30) and the restaurants were not yet full so we did not have to wait etc. The service at every restaurant however was admirable and we always thanked them with a tip. I did get quite an upset stomach one night at the La Hacienda – Mexican restaurant on, I believe, was the shrimp soup. My wife and daughter were fine. I expressed my concern with the Level Assistant Manager Michelle, and she offered our family a complimentary experience at the premium Hokkaido restaurant (Japanese). I stated earlier the Muoi and Casa Nostra were our favorites, but this was a higher level of food and entertainment. Steak, chicken, scallops and huge lobster tails, all prepared before our small group over the period of over an hour - wow! Since we shared the event with the same 12 or so people - by the end, our dinner group became friends. Beach The Level at Melia Caribe Beach has an exclusive beach area with its own bar/snack bar called the Barefoot Grill. There are always several staff there to serve and assist. No matter what time we arrived there were usually free sunbeds and fresh towels. If crowded, we asked our server, Kristian, and he found a great spot for us. He was always there to assist and bring us drinks of our choice from the top shelf bar. You name it they made it. Two other bartenders here were also exceptional, Jose Guerra and Stephanie. We always kept some dollar bills for our times at the beach which kept the servers and us happy! We made daily visits to the beach and the sand, covered seating areas and service were great. The weather was perfect and we even enjoyed the occasions when it was a bit windy because the air was still warm. We did have to run for cover a few times due to the occasional, short lasting, bursts of rain. The water had that aquamarine Caribbean color but there was some cut up seaweed in the shallow areas and there was a floating barrier about 50 yards out to protect the swimmers from going to the parasailing areas. There were quite a few vendors, but they were seldom rude or overbearing. We merely said “no gracias” and they continued on their way without question. A beach highlight was the free kayaking which allowed us to venture out to the deeper waters. We used a tandem kayak and put our young daughter in the middle. Don’t forget to bring your cooler cups with a top– we brought mid-size Yeti cups. Your drinks will stay much fresher (cooler) and are more protected from the elements! The bartenders rinse them in between drinks. Entertainment Next to the restaurants is a covered stage area where you can bring your drinks over to enjoy the shows. It was always full so you should check the app for the schedule and arrive a few minutes early. We saw a couple of shows – Michael Jackson and the Circus. They were all enjoyable, perhaps not Broadway quality but we were in Punta Cana not Broadway, so we loved to see the local actors perform with a big heart.

Let me start by saying how absolutely beautiful the grounds are at the resort. The resort itself was stunning and huge. I loved the fact that they had staff members drive guests to the beach or to one of the restaurants on the property if you didn’t want to walk. There was also a train cart that had the ability to pick up around 30 people and take them to whatever destination on the property they desired. Our room was really nice. We had a washer and dryer, a kitchenette with a sink and a mini fridge that stayed stocked with beverages. Most of the TV channels were in Spanish but we were grateful that there were a couple in English. We were extremely impressed with the hotel staff. Karina was amazing in helping us find my husband’s money and credit cards he left in a robe while we were getting a couples massage (Gladis and Bayola were amazing masseuses) at the Spa on the property. My husband realized his money was missing after the spa had closed. We went to the Level lobby for help and that’s when Karina stepped in. She had to make several phone calls in search of someone who would be able to travel back to the resort and unlock the doors. After finally being able to track someone down, she grabbed a golf cart and drove us to the spa and waited with us for someone to arrive. All the robes had been removed from the hampers and bagged in preparation for laundry service. As we were going through the bags and checking all the pockets of the robes, my husband found his money and credit cards. We were sooo happy and relieved, we gave Karina a big hug lol…..we could not thank her enough!! There were so many other members of Melia’s staff that we have to mention for the outstanding service they also provided during our stay. Samuel was Awesome!! He was always willing and eager to assist us and drive us wherever we wanted to go. He always made sure we were okay and that left a huge impression on us. When Samuel was off, Alfredo was ready and willing to pick up where Samuel left off. We were also very appreciative of Alfredo assistance. My husband and I loved spending time at the beautiful beach which was a nice 10 minute walk or a fast 3 minute golf cart ride. I swear the water had magical powers. We signed up for 2 excursions while on the beach. We went parasailing and traveled to Saona Island (Definitely a must!!). The amazing service continued while relaxing on the beach at the Melia Resort. We definitely want to shout out Cristian who always looked out for us. He would grab towels for us, find us a couple of beach chairs, and take our drink orders. Santiago was the man behind the bar who made whatever delicious drinks we requested. The Melia Caribe Resort left such an amazing impression on us that we can’t wait to return. The food was delicious the entertainment you provided your guest ie: the Michael Jackson impersonator and the Silent parties with a live DJ was everything. You guys have definitely set the bar high. Thank you and your staff for an unforgettable experience!

Not in the rooms. However they provide ashtrays on the decks and all around the resort.

Within the resort, there is a store. I am not sure if they sell distilled water. The resort gives out plenty of bottles of water, though. Enjoy your stay.

We didn't travel with a baby but were there in July of 2019 and didn't have any issues with mosquitoes or sand fleas. I believe they spray a mosquito repellent nightly throughout the property.
