We stayed at the Green Coast Beach Hotel from June 22-30. We had a great experience. The workers and owner were very helpful and friendly. Given that it was during COVID, the workers did a great job of always wearing masks and bringing food to the room, free of charge, to better protect the residents. I really loved how close the hotel was to the beach (a 10-second walk). I also really liked how private the beach was for the hotel residents. The food at the hotel was much better than expected (be sure to ask for the entire menu). We were given an upgrade upon arriving and happened to be at the hotel during Hurricane Isaias. The staff moved our room to better suit us during the storm. The owner’s name is Alberto and he was fantastic and helpful. The staff (including Ana & Jonny), and the cook, were also great and friendly. You cannot beat the location and the hotel for the price. It is about 30 minutes from the airport, and a taxi ride is $35. The rooms are cleaned daily (which is nice because of the sand) and the breakfast is also good. The one bad thing is to STAY AWAY from the beach vendors. They will badger you and you have to make it very clear (from the beginning) you are not interested because they will all speak to each other and before you know it, one vendor turns into 25 who all know you have money to spend. Overall, great experience.…
When we arrived at the hotel we asked for Melisa; The front desk workers told us she wasn't there... WE DIDN'T LIKE: -When arriving 1h20' before check in time; the proposed us to pay 20$ for immediate check in or to wait...(we waited) -Our room was at the back yard of the main block where parked the cars. we were situated between the "lavanderia" and a utility room with big trash cans. -We didn't have any wifi signal arriving to our room. we had to ask and tell several time that we paid for wifi in the room. Finaly, they gave us a mobile wifi (unfortunetely it was our last afternoon). - Hot water run very fast (1 minutes per heating). dangerous electricity connection for the thermos. -Very polite but no smile to serve the breakfast WE LIKED: - Good breakfast a la carte - Comfy bed - good aircon - Clean PS: don't be afraid to ask for what you paid for...(ex: wifi, lunch,etc...)…
Great hospitality and amazing experience with Melisa and Alberto, receptionist Rosa was great too, sparkling clean, great communication and perfect location! Communication was great with Melisa and Alberto and they waited for me on my check in, showing me great vibes and letting me know they are here for me no matter what I need. They helped me about tour to Saona island (highly recommended) and literally made me feel like home. This place is highly recommended, personally if I come back to Punta Cana I’ll go for the same hotel definitely! Thanks again for amazing hospitality !
