I have been to quite a number of lodges in Naivasha and I got presently surprised when I came to Naivasha Simba. Rooms were very cosy, there was good pressure and hot water in the bathrooms which in Kenya is often an issue, outdoor shower was a treat! Add to that delicious food and excellent swimming pool excellent. Together with my friends, we all wished we could stay longer!

This is incredibly beautiful lodge, with big park around it, the rooms are very nice and clean, you can see zebras and other animals just hanging few meters near your room. This is just heaven garden. I want to personally thank James - the head manager of Simba lodges , that heard that we are on our honeymoon and arranged some nice surprises for us, this is so pleasant, really.
I also highly recommend the Simba lodge in Masai mara!
Thank you for everything, you deserve top rank .

We were a family of 4 and a toddler travelling for a weekend.
Booking was swiftly handled, instructions on the room etc well noted.
Check in was done promptly and front desk staff were most helpful. The manager is a great asset there, being hands on, making guests feel at home instantly. Swift introductions yet briefing us about the property in length was appreciated.

Our room was immaculate on checking in. We asked for a ground floor room with an outdoor shower- this is their little hidden secret that you must always ask for.
The outdoor shower is a great experience. We had a few hitches with hot water during the day, but nothing major and resolved quickly.

Rooms have a fridge and little sunken lounge to chill in. Small balcony to lounge and watch the green lawns and lake.

Meals were spot on. Vegetarian options in plenty too. The manager ensured if we didn't fancy something, an alternative was prepared. This was appreciated and made us comfortable.

Meal staff were courteous and served us well.

Bonefire is set up at night which is pleasant. You can walk to the fence to view hippos, zebra and waterbucks. You can't miss them.

Beautiful swimming pool with a kids pool too. Cold! But pleasant on hot days. Refreshing and a good way to spend a few hours.

All in all we enjoyed our stay, an intimate property that let's you relax in the wild, undisturbed. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel with kids, (they are kid friendly!!) , and anyone looking for for a decent get away in Naivasha.

Naivasha Simba lodge was a perfect home away from home for me and my boys. We booked the getaway with Bountiful safaris and I can tell you from the time we paid to the entire 2 night stay the process was stress free. I want to thank the entire staff at Naivasha Simba lodge from the security at the gate, reception, chef to house keeping for their hospitality. The food was delicious, the green calm environment made us feel like kings, not forgetting the great Lake Naivasha views and the hippos. The stay was memorable and will definitely go back again.

We had a very warm welcome from Collins at the reception he was very nice and gave us a brief before our check in. The rooms are very spacious, the showers have hot water which was really great since we arrived in the evening and it was quite cold. The dinner was fantastic there were many options to choose from and the food is very fresh. The most exciting experience is the wildlife such as zebras waterbucks and giraffes grazing all over the gardens and you can literally see them outside your rooms. A big thanks to Chirag and Naivasha team for making our stay very enjoyable. I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Naivasha.

Arrived there for lunch on 18th December with my family. The ambience of the restaurant and well manicured gardens capture your attention. We were welcomed by smiling staff and ushered to our tables. The food was buffet well labelled chafing dishes and had a lunch to remember before we embarked on our return journey back to Nairobi to watch the world cup finals

A beautiful but slightly outdated hotel. The hotel is mid range class, decent but not amazing food, older rooms that can get cold during Naivasha evenings. The Lake has flooded many hotel areas across town, including this one where parts of the gardens are under water but it's a green space with plenty of charme.

We went to Naivasha Simba for my sons 3rd birthday with the family and it was excellent. The service was amazing. Their staff is one of the most humble, friendly and hard working and always smiling. Nothing was too much for them and they always found a way to cater for us. Rooms are also nice and clean. The house keeping does a good job and fresh towels, toiletries and water is always re-stocked. They are so discreet on turn down and leave hot water bottles which are appreciated in the cold at night. Food was good too. Would definitely come back and recommend others too. Grishom, one of the waiters is still remembered by my son he was exceptional and so was the chef Sylvester. Thank you to Mr. Dhiren also who took great care of us.

The hotel which is located on the serene shores of Lake Naivasha has some of the finest facilities in the region . It is also a preferred destination for current and former world leaders who frequent here for holiday, business or conferences . The rooms are well done and spacious, complimented by a friendly staff and an array of delicious meals We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We stayed here 1 night, and it was 1 night too many. The hotel presents very nice, well manicured grounds, friendly staff. But, that's where the positivity ends.

The room we were placed in should have never been commissioned for accommodation. There was this strong chemical smell that encapsulated the entire room, with no ventilation. Opening the windows wasn't possible because there was no mosquito net.

It was as if the room had just been painted/wood varnished a couple hours prior to our arrival. The chemical exposure was so much, that it started to burn when breathing.

The food was nothing special, not much in terms of variety.

I would suggest staying elsewhere. I wouldn't return or recommend Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge.
