I have been here as a business stop over. Enjoyed it, but it is a bit of a trip from Francistown. If you heading to Zimbabwe it is a great stop over, but a bit of a detour on your way to Kasane. Nevertheless, we had chalet 1 and the small #1 chalet for the children. Great combo. Can self cater or use their restaurant. Both work well. I drove in and out to Francistown for business, but it was fine. Golf course and lots of animals to see. I don’t see this as a holiday destination, but great as a stop over or for two or so days for an unwind. I would think that Francistown residents should head out there for a weekend break.
This is one of the most awesome places I have been in Botswana. The staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful setting. Chalets very comfortable and equipped. Magic views from chalets. Plenty for kids to do. Great breakfast. Easily accessible and only 20 minutes from Francistown. Rates very very good. Highly recommended.
Though there were no predators the place is excellent. The speed water bike is an added attraction. So calm and silent private space. Having wifi & mobile signal is another plus. You can drive your car upto your chalet
Stayed over one night on a trip up to Nata. Excellent hospitality from Jabu and team. Had a great lunch of TBone, veg and salad. Great local and international beers. I didn’t try the golf course, which looked as if the greens were well kept, but some of the fairways would be a ‘natural’ challenge. I’ll play it next time round. I really enjoyed the accommodation, with a lot of wildlife around. Chalet # 1 or 2 are great.
