We arrived at the hotel at 0445- direct from a a flight from Doha (Qatar). Checked in and were shown to our pre-booked room. It hadn't been cleaned/made up from the last occupant. Quickly taken to another room. It smelt, but we were so tired decided to put up with it for a few hours sleep. Breakfast was a typical Iranian one and after breakfast, I asked for a complimentary bottle of water. We have stayed at better back packer hostels all throughout South East Asia and Africa. We put up with it for a day- our room was not made up during the day. The following day, checked out and were charged for the 'complimentary' water.

We arrived at the Park Hotel for a 2 night stay. Shown to our room. It had not been cleaned from previous guests. Given another room and it had a bad smell. They did not make up room the room the following day. No complimentary water given had to purchase. I would suggest they need to look at the star rating as they say 3 star. I would not give it any rating as it is equivalent to a backpacker hostel. If I’d paid for a backpacker hostel I would have been happy but a travel agent booked it and of course it was much more costly

Pretty long waiting for checkin. We didn’t arrive early or so. It was already dinner time and we still had to wait and wait and ... Some off the stuff has been unfriendly. What they call free Wi-Fi is a voucher which works for about 20 minutes. When we stay 3 nights? Seriously Yes! Laundry service is calculated by each single piece of clothes, so single machine run can turn out to be about $15 (no ironing, just washing). So it‘s close to the room price per night.

I was there in April. The building was almost for 50 years ago but it has been rebuilt. It is 4-star but in fact it is less than it. The staff were kind and hospitable. The breakfast is OK but not good for a 4-star hotel. It is very close to Arg-e Karimkhan. The hotel has a nice garden with charming atmosphere.

We were welcomed by the unlimited kindness from the hotel's reception which made a really good impression. They were very helpful, friendly and polite. As a 4-star hotel, the hotel met our expectations with a beautiful gardening in the entrance yard. The rooms were fine and clean. However there was no refreshment and no beverages in the minibar. No electric kettle to make tea or coffee. Limited breakfast for a 4* hotel,no fresh bread no toaster and no free coffee. The breakfast tables were not so clean. A very positive point about the hotel is its location.Very close to the historical texture and monuments of Shiraz. In general, we had a delightful stay in this hotel.

I couldn't fault this place, and after reading some of the other reviews I even wondered if they had mistakenly left them for the wrong hotel! There is another Park Hotel (Saadi). Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the calm and peaceful surroundings with a nice garden near the dining area where you can eat outside or inside. Great location also, very close to the Arg Karim.

There is a garden in the courtyard flanked by sour orange trees so as you brush past them you are enveloped by such lovely odours. Breakfast can be held in the garden but the actual offering of food is quite limited. The hotel rooms have simple balcony with view of garden and the water pool that was empty in April. The rooms were basic but the location is central close to the Citadel and bazaar.

The hotel may not be 4 stars but our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and was was not ok was fixes promptly. The garden is fantastic, locastion perfect and staff friendly. It may not be a luxurious hotel but our stay was pleasent and we have already returned once and would do so again.
