Spent a week here half board towards the end of January. We had a one bedroomed apartment. We chose half board as the price difference between self catering and half board was very reasonable and would still leave us with a budget to eat out two or three nights if we wished. The apartment A nice size with a separate bedroom, an entrance way, sitting room area with two sofas and a nest of three tables, a dining table with four chairs and a small kitchen area. Kettle, toaster, hob, fridge, microwave. There was a dustpan brush and mop and bucket in the kitchen which was very useful for any spills. The bedroom and sitting area had access the the balcony which had a table and four chairs and a full sized drying rack which was great for drying swimwear and towels. Room was swept and beds made everyday and surfaces wiped down. Very clean room. Bathroom had a bath with shower over as well as a separate shower. Plenty of hot water and water pressure was very good. Beds were a little hard. We would have liked the option of mattress toppers. They weren't as bad as some hotel beds we have encountered previously and we slept ok. Hotel and location The hotel itself was very nice. It may have been built a while ago but fixtures and fittings are very good quality and classic. Outdoor pool was closed but there was a good indoor pool that we used a couple of time. A swim cap is mandatory and can be bought there for €4 if you don't have one. The hotel is a little way from the centre. However the L1 bus goes from outside the hotel every 15 mins and is currently free to use. Across from the hotel is a big shopping centre which includes a big supermarket and if you cross the little footbridge to the right of the hotel Lidl is a five min walk away. Restaurant This was very quiet at breakfast and evening meal. I think the majority of people go self catering at this hotel. There was lots of choice and the food was tasty. However due to the slow turn around food was sat a while under heat lamps and was a little dried up and cool. There was a microwave to warm it up if required. The staff were very helpful and drinks were a reasonable price. €2for a soft drink. €3 for a large wine. We would happily go back to this hotel again. It was very good value for money. …
We had a spacious apartment with a well equpped kitchen, a good twin bedroom, a sittingroom with two daybeds and and extra small bed in the corridor. The bathroom both had a shower and a tub, and there was a nice big terrasse with a small table, chairs and drying rack. There was free access to a heated pool and a wellness area with spa, sauna and fitness room where an extra fee was demanded. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the food was good and plentiful. It is not in the city center, but the local bus will take you there, and there are several shopping centers in the area
Lovely place. Clean room. Outdoor pool is close due to non sessional but the indoor pool is open. Incl the jakusi. U got to pay for shower cup. Gym is separate. So u also have to pay for it. Receptionist is very friendly. Our room is been clean everyday for a week. Lovely room. Incl mini kitchen. Opposite the big mall. Lovely location. Outside in the front is bus stop easy access to everything. We only try breakfast. My kids love it. Im vegan and they don’t have vegan option.
We stayed for 2 weeks in November and had a great time. 5 mins to shopping centre with a carrefour, very convenient if self catering. Lidl within 15 minutes walk. We like trying different food so mostly self catered. Town centre when you know where you are going 15 minutes away. We walked to the beach in less than 15 minutes. I understand that if you have young children it is a bit of a walk. The weather was really good when we stayed, which was a bonus. We spent hours walking along the beach. Buses were good we went to Marbella. The train to Malaga was cheap. Both were worth a visit. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. Indoor swimming pool was an added bonus as outdoor pool closed at end of October. We did sit outside by the pool until the sun went down. We had a 1 bed apartment which was clean and comfortable. We had no issues with cleaning, obtaining clean towels etc. We didn't notice noise problems, we had people with either side of us. We are looking to possibly going back next year. All in all a great holiday.…
This is a good hotel with reasonable price. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, and the hostess lady of the restaurant was very friendly and nice. The room was otherwise ok, but doors slamming could be heard from the corridor and sounds of furniture being moved could be heard from upstairs.
The Apart Hotel was quite noisy at night and early morning we had a room adjoining ours and you could hear everything talking shouting and people getting sick, the hotel is nice very good pool a gym and the staff were fantastic just make sure you don't have a room adjoining yours. There is a big shopping centre across the road with super market with everything you could want it's about a 20 minute walk into town or a bus stop round the corner.
Great location with big swimming pool. Spotlessly clean self catering apartment with TV and balcony. Good facilities in apartment. Bar and restaurant on site. Located next to Myramar shopping centre and only a short walk to town centre or beach.
Writing this review as sat around the pool awaiting time to leave for the airport. Lovely hotel for its price, large private pool with no onlooking hotels, bar, Astro around the pool & plenty of sun beds. Food is that of a 3* hotel, satisfying, varied and caters for all, nothing amazing but certainly not bad in the slightest. The staff are helpful and that includes cleaners. The bar pricing is a little off, charging €5.50 for a Kopperberg, while within 100 meters is a large supermarket selling the same drink for €1.99. I believe the Hotel should consider it’s pricing to be more appropriate for the location. Location, 25 minute walk from the sea front, far enough away to get a good nights sleep but close enough for everything. Cleanliness is good, but not perfect, but is to the standard of a 3* hotel.…
Nice Hotel near Fuengirola. We stayed here 4th to 18th September, rooms are spacious and well maintained cleaned every day clean towels every day beds changed twice weekly.Staff all friendly and helpful,Pool area kept clean ,pool doesn’t open until 10:30 which is a little late for some but never had a problem getting a sun bed.Pool bar/Snack bar reasonably priced Drinks and food of good quality.Although we stayed on a self catering basis we did have our evening meal at the restaurant on four occasions and found the food to be of good value and quality. Reception staff will order you a Taxy and it will be at the front door in 2 minutes. The Hotel no longer has foreign exchange facilities but there’s plenty in town. Ten minutes walk to nearest beach ,about 20 minutes walk to centre of Fuengirola. Taxy into town about 7 Euros or 1 Euro 15 Cents on bus. If ever in Fuengirola would stay here again.…
What a wonderful hotel! I had an apartment over looking the pool. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, good amenities, an amazingly sized terrace with great views of the pool and mountains. The bathroom was really big with a bath and a separate shower. The infrastructure of the hotel is top notch, super clean, lovely Spanish feel, great staff - especially Rosa at the front desk. The food was great! Fab breakfast and dinner. What impressed me the most was the wonderful vegan options for breakfast and dinner! Lovely staff in the restaurant too. Close to town and the shopping center. Will return again soon!
