Have to say place is nice apartments need updating but they have everything you need in them washing machine dishwasher etc Beds are really comfortable 😌 walking distance to everywhere. We hired a car and they had under ground parking which was brilliant
I had read a couple of reviews on here and was expecting tired and dated apartments. However, the reception area was open, shiny and really clean with 24 hour staff to greet us upon our post midnight arrival. Yes, the apartments have wooden furniture, wardrobes, and headboards, so they might not look 'up to date', but everything was really clean, and who is coming on holiday to sit looking at the furniture? We had a one bedroom apartment for a family of 2 teens and 2 parents. The sofa beds were plenty big with enough space for 2 tall teens. The kitchen was well stocked with enough utensils, glasses, cups and cutlery for 4 people. Everything worked - fridge, freezer, cooker, roaster, kettle, etc. The washing machine is a god-send - and we had plenty of pegs to put everything out on the airing rack at night. Initially we were disappointed we didn't have a view over the pool, however, seeing the sunsets over the sea and watching the buzz of life in the sports stadium and town in the evening was fabulous. The apartments have an excellent shop at the corner of the block for fresh food, bread, wine and provisions (if you really want to cook). It is easy walking distance to the train station, the beach and the old town as Fuengirola itself is only small. Taxis are available if you have mobility issues. The staff and cleaners were all so helpful. The pool was clean and a lifeguard was there every day. There are loads of areas around the pool including little gardens for sunbathing and plenty of loungers. There are vending machines for snacks on the premises and also a cafe / bar / restaurant. If you like reading there was a huge selection of books to borrow in all languages. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and it was so cheap and cheerful for our ten day stay I couldn't fault it.…
Stayed at the Nuriasol 12th to 22nd September, our second visit. Was greeted by a lovely receptionist who was very helpful and pleasant. Our room was available even though we arrived just after midday. We had a two bedroom apartment on the third floor. It was very spacious and clean. Sat round the pool area every day, which was cleaned every morning before guests were allowed in. Plenty of sun lounges and umbrellas. Nice new addition was the garden area. Food served at the bar was well presented and delicious. Drink prices reasonable. Highly recommend these apartments. Places to eat and drink in the surrounding area, Sizzlers, Sandy’s, Food for Thought, Alley Cats bar, The Windmill bar and Tom’s bar.
My apartamentos was small, clean and quiet. Small things were not as should. One leg on the bed was twisted and I had to straighten it. Bottle opener was broken etc. Small things, not impossible to fix, if management would stay top of the things. Pool area is large but not the nicest I have seen. Service was polite everywhere. I propably would not spend my vacation at this hotel, but to stay few nights is ok. Shower cabin was very small. Price-value was good.
Me and ten other members of my family have just returned from Nuriasol apartment we were in three rooms all on different floors but that was no problem. Me and the wife were in a one bedroomed apartment which was fine accept for the shower which is a bath and shower I had trouble getting in and out and I am 6 foot tall but also 76 years old, my wife who is 5 foot tall or should I say short only got in once as it was far to hard for her. One of my daughters had a two bedroomed apartment for her and her husband and three kids one who is 20 years old it had no balcony and was as dark as dark could be only a couple of windows in the whole apartment they were not to happy with it. My other daughter and her three kids one who is 20 were fine in a one bedroomed apartment. Overall Nuriasol is very good the pool area is great the staff were all friendly and we had a great time.…
This is our third time staying at Nurisol. I love it. Perfect for everything. Great apartment. Lots to do in the area. Great staff. Clean. Highly recommend here for families. Train ride away from Bioparc.
Stayed at the Nuriasol for 7 nights. The appartment building is clean and well presented and the rooms are clean and very well equipped. It's a massive building. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant has a very basic menu so you do need to venture into the centre (5 mins in a taxi, approx 8 euros) where there is an abundance of choice. The super market under the appartments is fantastic with everything you need and very well priced. My main issues were: 1. The air conditioning in our room was blowing warm air and because of the current issues surrounding utility costs and the media suggesting restaurants in Spain were being ordered to limit the inside temp 26 we assumed this was also for residential. It was a stroke of luck that we were talking with a lovely lady from Ireland and mentioned our issue to her that we realised we were wrong. After reporting the issues on day 3 out of 7 the management checked our room within the hour and told us that the unit was only 2 weeks old so there should have been no issue. After a short conversation they offered an alternative room where the air con did work and it was perfect. This was not an over night issue and more than likely placed us in the room knowing full well the air con was down. Dissapointing. 3 days in 35+ degree temps with a three year old was not pleasant. 2. The swimming pool is in desperate need of repair and maintenance. There are 1000's of the mozaic tiles missing and they are falli g off daily and I cut my toe on one in the bottom of the pool. More worryingly there is a build up of black sludge on the pre existing grout. The pool was drained by at least 24 inches on day 7 and exposed the true state of the pool. It's a mess and should be closed off immediately for repair. The black sludge alone will be harbouring some nasty bacteria which will make people ill. Looks like it mayhave been drained during covid and has not been protected resulting in the damage. I would be very cautious about booking here without at least checking the pool availability, as 100% it will be drained and repaired and if they don't provide access to a neighbouring pool etc you will be dissapointed. 3. The pool is way too small to accommodate the number of guests sufficiently. Sun beds were taken up almost immediately at 10am when the gates were opened. 4. The balconies on the upper floors are no way safe for children. The air con units sit on the balcony and if you have an inquisitive child it could be disaterous. There are large gaps between the floor and the glass surround which are large enough for a small child to get through. We Did not let our child anywhere near the balcony!!! Overall it is a nice place and is more suited for couples. It's unfortunate we had our issues with the air con and is more than likely a one off. The pool issue is the biggest problem for the Nuriasol. But when is the right time to close it and lose revenue? The management have a difficult decision to make, but needs to made quickly.…
Plus: Location Room size Price Aircon Minus: Oldish Some traffic noise Overall: Good hotel for a good price. I would recommend it for couples and families. Bar staff was helpful and nice. Food was ok. Pool was not crowded and there was plenty of sunbeds to use at no extra cost.
My family of 4 (2 adults, kids 11 & 15) absolutely loved this place. We expected a pretty basic hotel but our room was big, towels and bed linen changed regularly, kitchen spotless with large fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and lots of cutlery, plates, glasses etc. Air con worked perfectly. Showers had lots of pressure. The hotel reception staff were always polite and helpful. We used them daily to order taxis which cost around €7 to the center of Fuengirola. We did walk it a few times which took around 20/25mins. The bar staff at the pool were great with kids and always friendly. The pool is large with lots of sun loungers. There are 3 areas for chilling - by the pool, by the bar (good mix of sun and shade) and in a garden area which is really pretty and relaxing and has its own showers if you dont want to get in the pool but need to freshen up from the fabulous sun. We booked a massage through the hotel by Jose, a local therapist. He was amazing, highly recommend. There is a large supermarket right under the hotel that is very handy. Los Boliched Beach is a 5 min walk down the road with lots of great restaurants (The Indian Mexican was great) and lots of coffee shops (Granier is so cheap and so tasty) and lots of places to get Churros (Churros and Noodles was our favourite) I recommend The Nuriasol to anyone looking for great value, great location, family or couple…
we had a week here with grandchildren. very large apartment with everything we needed washing machine dishwasher. no cleaners but clean towels whenever we wanted food in the pool area was very nice not to pricy. Very clean everywhere except the pool it was dirty and in need of some maintenance tile were falling of and children picking them off pool guy did nothing to stop this people were cutting their fee. Only one other negative quit a long walk to the town bars and restaurants apart from that we had a great week here great helpful staff.
