We stayed on Kerrigans Saturday night, the location is very central with parking on site available at weekends. The room was really lovely it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous and we were served by two very friendly ladies. A huge thank you to Natalie who pulled out all the stops to get my phone which I had left behind back to me. I would highly recommend Kerrigans fantastic accommodation lovely staff and great value for money!

Myself and my partner discovered this gem of a place a few months ago. Rooms are lovely, two are really huge. Shower is fully stocked and beds are very comfortable. Small fridge in the room with water, juice, biscuits and bars of chocolate ( nice touch). Staff are absolutely wonderful....we even made a collection for Leah's birthday ( fantastic bar woman) Great service. All so helpful.. giving pointers on the hot spots to go to. The owner pops in and out and even left pints behind the bar for us and a family group that we brought to try the place,!!. Converted. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff are friendly to say the least. Ten out of ten to this place. 5 minutes away from the main street. Staying again on Sunday night. Long may we continue 😀

I visited Kerrigan's bar over the August bank holiday weekend for food and a drink. Initially their COVID19 protocols seemed good with a temperature check on arrival & name and number taken for contact tracing. However, we arrived around 8pm and the bar area was already very busy, in fact PACKED to an uncomfortable
degree which meant distancing was difficult if not impossible! There were large groups of older (mostly over 40s) men standing & drinking at the bar, quite close to our table, with NO social distancing, constant physical touching, close talking (it was quite noisy), handshakes, hugs, high-fives etc. Although the staff for the most part (with the exception of an older woman who may have been management), were wearing visors, there was zero intervention by staff or management to stop this behavior and essentially the majority of the clientele were acting as though the Pandemic had never happened. We felt very unsafe and uncomfortable and left as soon as we could.
I realise this review won't deter the many locals who frequented the place this weekend but wanted to post as a warning for anyone unfamiliar and thinking of going for food & a drink that in terms of enforcing COVID regulations on their clientele, this establishment it is sadly lacking.
