The Premier Inn Dublin Airport hotel garners praise for its strategic location, with guests appreciating the proximity to the airport and city center, along with nearby dining options. While the rooms are typically lauded for their cleanliness and comfort, some guests have raised concerns about noise and room condition. Despite mixed feedback on the overall value, due to unexpected charges, the hotel's competitive rates and complimentary shuttle service are often highlighted positively. Cleanliness stands out as a strong point, especially regarding spotless rooms and bathrooms, although guests' experiences with service quality vary.

I have just arrived home from a night in Dublin. I was meeting my old friends from the Rebel county for a socially distanced catch up in Dublin with our teenage girls being very mindful of the increasing numbers of COVID in Ireland. I was apprehensive as I had paid 40 euro each for 2 rooms on a non cancellation rate and really had low expectations. I had rang ahead for reassurance on cleanliness and protocol and actually asked for a room where I could open windows instead of relying on air-conditioning, one less risk to consider in these challenging times!

I need not have worried
I was greated by the beautifully friendly staff members ( girl from Brazil and man from Portimao) and was quickly checked in, nothing was too much trouble, no question was a silly question, reception was safe, plenty of hand sanitiser and everything all spaced out.

Room spacious, plenty of windows to open to get air circulating and very clean.

I thought the area was good as there was a Subway, Centra and a Mc Donalds nearby and a Tesco as well. We drove out to Portmarnock Beach for a socially distanced walk and swim.
I had the opportunity to meet the manager on my departure to compliment her and her staff on their hands on and practical approach to the COVID situation. I am front line health worker and I was very impressed by everything I saw and would without hesitation recommend this hotel for a stay.

Room Tip: ask for a room with windows that can open instead of air conditioning, corner rooms are nice!

I was more than pleased with my stay. I had no issues or problems, staff are more than willing to help and accommodate you. Would highly recommend! Staff are warm, friendly and helpful- I was very well looked after. I felt at ease, safe and relaxed during my stay. When I arrived, check-in was quick and easy, and check out took seconds, just popped my used room card into the marked box at main exit. The food was delicious, I had a full Irish breakfast every morning during my stay because it was cooked so perfectly every time, I couldn't resist! I was greatful and appreciative of the effort of staff in order to make my time there run smoothly , and their kindness was nothing short of wonderful. Especially front desk staff, who worked above and beyond their said job role to assist me whenever I needed it. Even in the middle of the night. I would come back in a heart beat!

I absolutely love this hotel so clean and rooms are always so spacious and warm. From the minute you arrive at the hotel the social distancing is visible. Hand sanitizer and screens up at reception. When your leaving at checkout you leave the room key in the glass box for them to be disinfected they think of everything. The price of the rooms are amazing if you book through the Internet

Just back from my 3 night stay in the Premier Inn , Dublin Airport with my wife and 4 year old daughter. Had a great time. We have stayed in a lot of Premier Inns in the Uk and were impressed with both the cleanliness and comfort and this hotel is no different . Due to Covid , the restaurant only offers a limited menu which is for takeaway . Dial reception and place your order and receive a call when ready. This is in takeaway containers but of good quality. You can also purchase bottles of beer or
Wine with your meal and consume in your room. €8 for main course. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Derek on reception is credit to the premier inn. Very professional, friendly and courteous. Look forward to returning in 2 weeks for another small break. Ideal location to visit Dublin zoo and other attractions . We also visited Bray aquarium (25 mins). Highly recommend this hotel .

Premier Inn Dublin Airport scores because it's a well know quantity. You know the room's going to be big enough and comfortable enough. At Dublin Airport it was also affordable in comparison with the more expensive city centre hotels and convenient because the Premier Inn shuttle bus to the airport and then the Dublin Express were quick, frequent and very reasonably priced if you booked the latter online or easily on phone. The overall time to Tara St was as little as 30 minutes including both shuttles, although connection with the hotel shuttle on the return journey makes it a little longer. To find the shuttle bus from Terminal 1, go across the zebra crossing, into and dtraight through the building in front of you. At the other side cross all the zebras (about 5 bus lanes) and after the last one bear 45 degrees left into a glass tunnel with the church tower on your right. At the end of the tunnel the shuttle will pull up at the right-hand bus stands in front of you. The Premier Inn is also a short Taxi trip from Malahide where there's an excellent Parkrun at 9:30 on Saturday mornings (NOT 9:00 as we expected). Toilets in the park 200m away are opened at exactly 9:00 by the park ranger, for those interested. Malahide itself is an attractive seaside location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, well worth a visit. Then train connection (Dart) to the city is reasonably priced and you can continue down to Bray with its lovely seaside promenade.

We were in Dublin for an even in Swords and wanted something convenient. This hotel was very reasonable and basic, as to be expected, but the room was clean so we were happy. The bed is comfy, pillows definitely reflected the room rate but still got a good nights rest. The showers had good pressure and there was a soap dispenser in the shower if you forgot toiletries. Our only qualm was that the cleaning staff started hovering at 8am. This is just not reasonable in a hotel. There was no chance of a sleep in with woman shouting over the Hoover. If your looking for something cheap and cheerful I think this is a good bet.

We stayed here as a family of four in July and found it to match our high expectations. We are regular Premier Inn guests in the UK and was pleased to see that Dublin Airport hotel matches those standards. Beds very comfortable, quiet at night, clean and helpful reception staff.

The Premier Inn restaurant was not operating in July due to COVID, but there was a nice "Insomnia" cafe next door to the hotel that served up wonderful cooked breakfasts, also a range of other restaurants within a few minutes walking distance for lunch and dinner (Subway, Pig and Heifer, Pizza Restaurant etc). Location was very handy if you have a car, a few minutes from the MI motorway, also they ran a regular shuttle bus service to the airport and back. There is a large suburban shopping mall directly across the road, not pretty to look at, but handy, Tesco supermarket nearby also.

We stayed here for one night before an early morning flight. Check in was fine and the bedroom was great we caught the bus from the airport for €2 each there and back.

What we were a little disappointed at was no food or bar service which we weren’t aware of until we arrived. They actually have a very small menu but there was nothing I fancied plus you couldn’t get an alcoholic drink. I think they might have informed us beforehand.

Fortunately there is a restaurant literally 2 minutes round the corner which serves food and a drink. You must book a table though so suggest if you’re staying there you book a table well in advance.

There is also a McDonald’s 3 minutes away.

Overall though our stay was very good. The receptionists were very helpful and even phoned the restaurant for me at no extra cost. We also ran out of tea and coffee and we were given plenty.

If you are stopping though I would enquire about the bus as I’m not sure I didn’t see that they were stopping or reducing the service sometime this month.

Definitely recommend, especially if you book well in advance for a great rate.

Check in at this hotel was very quick and efficient. Although check in was changed from 14:00 to 16:00 by the hotel management in order to sanitise the room fully ready for the next occupants. However, I was checked into my room the minute it had been fully cleaned and sanitised which was before the 16:00 O’clock. The staff at this hotel were all very friendly, accommodating and helpful from the receptionists to all those working in the restaurant. Everyone were very polite and courteous.
The only snag is the lack of good WiFi connectivity in the room. I’ve stayed in several Premier Inn hotels and one thing that they all have in common is poor WiFi connections. I hope that with the constant improvements in technology, Premier Inn will upgrade its WiFi connectivity.

No, but make sure you know where to pick up the shuttle from the airport as it is very confusing if you haven't been there before.
