Detailed Reviews
Was here for two nights with a G Adventures group and it was like home away from home. Very nice rooms and a hot tub out back. Everything is on one level. The common area was very inviting and the host made a great breakfast. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights the first night.

The property is a very modern and neat (and relatively newly built) property. We had a very comfortable stay. This was a convenient stop but not much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel as it is in the middle of a farm which adds its own charm. The lady owner owns several horses and was a pleasure to talk with. Breakfast is included in the rate but the kitchen is not for use of guests.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part fo a recent group tour and it was such a comfortable place to come back to after a cold day of exploring. Very nice rooms with good size bathrooms, comfortable living area, and great breakfast prepared by the host (including homemade bread and waffles). It was so nice knowing that we had such a cosy place waiting for us at the end of the day. It had a nice outdoor hot tub and we were able to see the Northern Lights there our first night! Would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

This homelike atmosphere was just what we needed following a busy day. We stayed here two nights with a tour company and it was perfect. The shared kitchen and living room area allowed us the space to visit and get to know others. The breakfast provided in the morning offered a good variety and the rooms were spacious and clean. We especially enjoyed the hot tub before we settled in for the night. The visit to meet the horses was a nice treat
Thank you for the excellent hospitality.

Wonderful, accommodations. Windows on all sides of the lounge area allowed for a clear view of the surrounding countryside. Nothing fancy, but very clean, and cozy. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food and there is a well stocked bar. We were here on a G adventures tour and enjoyed 2 evenings getting know each other after busy daytime tours. Bora's quiet hospitality, while allowing us to see her horses through her eyes, was a delight.

My experience was great there. it is a nice, tidy, clean guesthouse. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed. The rooms are nicely done, in March when I visited it was warm and cozy. The floor heating system is enough to make you feel comfy. The owner has nice horses. she will do a demo for you and you can even pet them or sit on the horses. There is alcohol available at a fair cost in the house. Breakfast was fresh( Cold breakfast) and good. Coffee is great. The place would be great for Northern lights but unfortunately we did not have luck as the weather is quiet bad in March with lots of storms and snow! Overall, my experience was great in this guesthouse. I would recommend it to anyone who is planning to stay in that area in Iceland. :)

Perfect location for Northern Lights sightings, and a great base outside of Reykjavik for further exploring Iceland. Rooms great size and immaculate, everything needed was there. Breakfast had a variety of items (including the best homemade bread ever!). Bar was an unexpected surprise and fully stocked for the stay. Hot tub was a nice addition, and seeing the Northern Lights whilst in it is an experience I'll never forget. Bára was a hospitable and knowledgeable host, opening up her stable so we could learn more about the Icelandic horse and spend time with them. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if visiting Iceland again!

Wonderful place to stay! The place is small, with about 10 rooms, very clean, and extremely cozy. Great food and well stocked bar. Great area to view Northern lights (if weather is permitting). We visited Iceland with a G adventures tour group and had a blast here—we were sorry to leave!

We did spent two nights there but I wish they would have been more.
This is such a wonderful place to stay.
It's quiet nature all around you.
The house is lovely, really cosy bar and seating area.
The room was great too.
I'm dependable on a wheelchair. The room was big enough and the bathroom too.
I was able to shower.
Breakfast lovely and we had dinner twice. Great tasty food.
The hostess is very welcoming.

My dad and I absolutely loved this guesthouse! The host was so kind and helpful. The food was excellent and the rooms and kitchen were extremely clean. I would highly recommend this place and wish we could have stayed here longer.

There's one bathroom per room do you will share it with your roommate.
I'm sure there is. We didn't need it whole there. But the host is so accommodating, I am sure she would arrange something. A wonderful place to stay. Enjoy.
