360° Boutique Hotel & Thermal Baths is a new family-run luxury hotel situated in the beautiful countryside of the South of Iceland. The hotel, which opened in August 2018, is placed on a top of a hill and has a 360° view of the most astonishing mountains and volcanoes on the South Coast. This 4-star luxury lodge offers spacious and modern suites and deluxe rooms. All the rooms have high ceilings and large open windows featuring a beautiful view to ensure the best stay possible. All guests have access to a spa which includes a pool with warm geothermal water, a sauna, and a relaxing lounge with fire. Due to the richness of the minerals in the water bathing is said to have therapeutical and healing benefits. The size of the hotel, 13 rooms, provides the owners with an opportunity to offer their guests a very personal and attentive service. The guests frequently say that the hotel feels like a home away from home. Therefore it is not surprising that many of them choose to stay at the hotel for several days while exploring the amazing landscape and nature in the South of Iceland. Another quite unique thing about the hotel is the dining experience which can be explained as a community host table. In the evening a three-course dinner from local produce is served and all the guests are seated together at two long tables. The diners enjoy this culinary experience in the company of each other. They get to know each other and share their travel stories. Some have even formed a friendship with their fellow travelers. 360 hotel is where the past and the present meet – modern, central, and with all the magic of Iceland. All in all, our design style is about minimalistic, timeless, and classy interiors that remain warm and inviting, and are as much about function as style, with strong, clean lines and without a hint of excess.

We stayed for 1 night in March. We were in a deluxe room, there are 13 rooms, 10 deluxe, 2 junior suites and 1 suite.
The hotel is relatively new and in an amazing location, hence the name as you do get incredible views. The most amazing part of the 360 is Anna and Ólafur. They are incredible hosts. It more like staying with friends than a regular hotel. You feel like a VIP as soon as you arrive.
The rooms are fabulous with a great bathroom, big shower with the rainfall or regular shower option and two sinks which is always a treat. The toiletries were a high end spa brand, Comfort Zone. The rooms include dressing gowns and substantial flip flops to use in their thermal pool. The pool and sauna are in a neighbouring building and they’re improving this at the moment. They call the pool a hot tub, but that downplays it. It’s a small pool rather than a hot tub. It’s thermally heated and you can look over the valley whilst in the water.
They offer a dining option and I’d recommend you take it. The 360 is off the beaten path and the supper is a delight. It’s a set menu at a fixed price on two large communal tables overlooking the valley.
We were in a group so they sat us together and various couples were seated together. You could stay here if you were on your own and it would be fine too. The food is all sourced locally and cooked fresh daily. If you have dietary requirements just let Ólafur know and they’ll adapt the menu.
Breakfast was also a delight. Special green smoothies, plenty of local yogurt, pancakes, the usual cooked and continental items.
But the magic was after supper, Anna spotted the Aurora Borealis appearing and those of us requesting the call were advised. We went outside and whilst it was a small display, Anna trained as a photographer and took photos for us.
This is one of those rare places, a boutique hotel in a great location with amazing hosts.

This is a beautiful building in a beautiful place with beautiful people running it. Our room is large and the bathroom is more like a spa with a full body soaking tub and two stone sinks on a granite countertop. The lobby, common areas, and dining area/bar are serene and elegant. The owners are gracious and accommodating and their two dogs are friendly and so well behaved. A little bit of heaven right here on earth!

We stayed here for 3 nights and would highly recommend. It is a beautiful stylised boutique property up a quiet country road. If you want peace and relaxation this is the place. The room was well appointed with everything you need - including usb charger sockets in the bedside lights. Anna explained how everything worked and asked us daily if we would like the evening meal - we did and when each course came it was a culinary delight. We used the spa each evening pre-dinner and were mostly alone there. The hosts are happy to help with anything, and there is a relaxed family atmosphere unless a guest gives the dogs a bone (as Anna says “two dogs one bone is trouble” 😂). Thank you to the wonderful owners for creating this little piece of heaven in Iceland.

Coming home feeling after a long trip. The weather was bad but this hotel and his owners made that we even liked the weather. The interior belongs in a magazine for architecture. Eating together with the other guest was new to me but I enjoyed it so much.
Room was spacious, very clean and the views...amazing.
Definitely coming back one day.

The hotel was quiet when we visited. We were hoping to see some of the northern lights however even though we weren't lucky enough to spot them, I can't fault the hotel. The hotel was in a great location from popular sights so easy to visit by car, even in the snowy conditions we had. The owners are friendly and cannot help enough even talking to us in the bar at the evening about the hotel and the Northern Lights sightings. The dog is cute and friendly. We didn't stay for the evening meal as I'm a veggie and my partner is fussy but the breakfast was good, even catering for my gluten intolerance. We only used the thermal pool in the spa but it was so nice and quiet :) thanks for such a lovely stay and the games in the seating area are such a great touch!

I booked the hotel as a special birthday celebration for my wife's birthday for all my family. The location of the hotel is on a hill away from the main road with spectacular views across to the mountains in the distance.
The rooms are great, minimalist styling with a large bed which was very comfortable.
We all used the thermal pools both indoor and outdoor which were great on very cold day.
The food is exceptional worthy of a five star rating and although the menu was relatively limited the food was delicious.
If you are thinking of staying at the hotel go ahead and book it you will not be disappointed

An amazing brand new ecological hotel with a natural thermal tub in a very picturesque place run by a a really nice family of Olaf and Anna. It is only 10-15 mine drive from Selfoss. From the very 1st second you feel at home and enjoy your stay. Big and spacious rooms, with cry tiny detailed designed and for your convenience. A great continental breakfast with a vast verity of fresh Icelandic ingredients was good to start our day..100% worth the money we paid for and will highly recommend the hotel to our friends…

My wife and I and two of our adult children just got back from a 9 day vacation to Iceland. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and they provided great views of the surrounding area. After a day of travel our family immensely enjoyed the spa and other amenities.
To top it all off our hosts, Anna and Olaf, were gracious and attentive - they knew we were anxious to see the northern lights and they paid careful attention to the sky so we didn't have to! They prepared a delicious morning repast, shared stories of Iceland and the surrounding area, and they were solicitous of my comfort (I've been dealing with a foot injury). All in all this was our favorite stay by far.

This was our favorite hotel during our one week stay in Iceland. Off the main road a few minutes, you will find this family-owned hotel. You will realize quickly that this 4-year-old hotel is different from the rest. It is very modern with a strong family feel, almost B&B like. We were greeted by the owner and later his wife (they also breed horses on the property). Just in case you are afraid of dogs they do have two very friendly ones, Tina and her grandmother whose name I don’t remember.
Off the entry area you will find a spacious area to sit with friends and family to play games (provided) and have a drink. To the right is the bar and kitchen.
The room is just great. Very spacious. The showers and everything else is pretty modern. You turn on the shower with a push button. This is the only hotel we stayed at with LARGE double sinks. The floors are heated in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable with two twin comforters (very common in Iceland) and no top sheet (also very common in Iceland). If you are from the US remember to bring your EU adapters for electric. Lighting was just fine and our window in Room 8 overlooked an expanse of flat land, though much of the window was blocked with snow drifts due to a recent storm.
Don’t miss the spa. I will say this again, don’t miss the spa. A large geothermal indoor and outdoor pool. It was terrific. They don’t use chlorine in the pool as they later use the water to water their plants, but the water was pristine. We had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, Anna, at some length to hear the story about how they built the hotel. They also have coffee table books describing it. It is quite interesting. The restaurant is located right near check in and the food was excellent, with plenty of choices for vegetarians.

From the start Oli and Anna were exceptional hosts, even coming to rescue us when we managed to get our car stuck in the snow in a nearby lane! The service provided was impeccable, the epitomy of Icelandic friendliness and hospitality - it was actually our pleasure to meet and get to know them even just a little bit. The location is ideal for all the sites of the south, just off route 1. Really easy to access the attractions from here with our hire car. We loved the industrial design of the hotel which is still warm and welcoming. The expansive glass and view from our very stylish room (number 8) meant we got to see the northern lights from our bed! (Thank you Oli for the wake up call). The geo thermal pool (spa) was also a real treat and a wonderful after dinner (or anytime) experience. Anna's food is delicious. I ate and thoroughly enjoyed everything we were served. It is a set menu, served up family style on communal tables so that everyone staying can share their adventures from the day - another highlight of the experience. Skrumpa is the cherry on top. She is an utterly beautiful, loving and laid back Icelandic sheep dog who enjoys the company and attention of guests. Breakfast is wide selection of cereals, toast/breads, meats, cheeses, scrambled egg, beans and bacon, juices, pancakes etc. Really tasty and very well presented and tended too during service. In summary 360 is a boutique hotel in every way with the added benefit of really being made to feel at home. I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay here. Thank you x
