We were lucky to experience this beautiful hotel as part of our two day tour of Delphi and Meteora.
Upon arrival, we walked into a spacious Grand lobby, tastefully decorated. We were immediately shown to our room which was for the three of us, a converted triple. There were French doors that allowed you to walk out into the courtyards and enjoy the scenic surroundings. The bathrooms were immaculate and products available for each guest.
Especially welcoming were the pools at this facility which were large, deep and beautifully kept. Towels were available at poolside, and the large dark-wooded bar is conveniently located along side.
Free breakfast is included for each guest, and like the welcome dinner we received on our night of arrival, had a buffet style set up with an enormous quantity and variety of food— all fresh and tasty.
Pleasant staff added greatly to the relaxing casual elegance that permeates the feel of this location.

The stay took place between December 26-30, 2023.
The reservation was made with half board through Manessis Travel (at a cost of approximately 140 euros/night).
While it has very nice common areas (bar, coffee shop), everything you need for families, tables, etc., it was rather disappointing (especially if you compare it to another Amalia hotel, eg in Nafplio):
1) The breakfast buffet was exactly the same on all days of the stay. Also, the muffins and cakes were very average to below average in terms of freshness and taste.
2) The evening buffet was exactly the same on all days of the stay (with only a change in one of the sweets, i.e. one day there was strawberry paste, the other lemon paste).
3) The horizontal grill of the air conditioner (in the area where the wardrobes were) in the room had not been cleaned (had webs).
4) In the room:
(a) there was no hand soap and when I called reception I was told that they don't have any and that we would have to use the shower gel/shampoo dispenser that was in the tub to wash our... hands. However, in the next room where a related family was staying (who were booked with the same package) there was normal hand soap. Finally, I asked the other day and they brought it to us.
(b) while there was the kettle set, sugars, there were not the usual coffee and/or tea bags. I called the reception on the 2nd day of the stay and asked if they are not provided in our case and the answer I got was "not provided but tell me the room no and we will get you", which they did. Anyway, in the next room (with the same package) everything was there normally, without being asked for.
Every day was missing after cleaning the room and some necessary towel(s), hand and/or bathroom.

At this point I should point out that there was no provision for NOT changing the towels for water/energy saving reasons. I personally don't want towels to be changed EVERY DAY, as I don't think it's necessary, but it also doesn't show environmental sensitivity on the part of the hotel. In most large hotels, if you don't want your towels changed, you simply leave them where they are and when you want them changed, you leave them e.g. in the bathtub. This should be considered by the hotel in order to save resources to invest them in other necessary areas.

On the plus side, the staff were very polite and (eventually) helpful (as they should be in a 4 star hotel). We also asked for 2 extra pillows and they were given to us.

It's pretty much a hotel. Fairly well soundproofed, fairly well located for visiting the fabulous meteors, fairly well cleaned both inside and in the common areas. Far, very far from the standards of a 4*…the fact remains that it’s pretty much okay for one or two nights. Note a huge hall whose only explanation is that the architect was inspired by Soviet standards

Very nice place to stay when you are visiting the Meteora Monasteries. You are like 10 min away by car. As they all close pretty early (between 4 and 5 PM) you will appreciate the swimming pool to enjoy some resting time after climbing all these steps!
Our family room was huge: a 2 bedrooms appartement with 2 bathrooms (and a spa shower: OMG), a huge balcony to enjoy the view of the Meteora by night (lovely).
Bedding was really good, you had some shutters which is perfect to sleep in the Morning.
Breakfast was diverse, the food was Ok (I won’t say it was the best… it was decent).
Just for you to know when you are at the pool you hear the noise of the road but honestly you forget about it pretty quickly.

From our personal point of view, the hotel is not suitable for long-term stays, at best for an overnight stay. It is quite far from the city, so if you want to go out in the evening, even for a simple dinner, you have to get to the city either by car or by taxi. Or you have to rely on the hotel's own restaurant, which is not particularly inviting and closes at 9.30 p.m. There is a bar with snacks, but we were told that snacks cannot be served after 9.30 p.m. The lady at the bar was not particularly hospitable in our opinion. There is also no shop within walking distance where you can get something to eat. The hotel is on a busy road and even at night, but especially in the morning, it was very loud in both of our rooms. Even from inside you can hear everything that is happening in the neighboring rooms. The curtains are translucent, but the street noise wakes you up anyway. The hotel has a pool, but it is hardly usable out of season because it is not heated. The breakfast is very simple. The rooms did not look clean, especially the carpet. We left early and would not book the hotel again or recommend it.

One positive thing to note is that when we left early, the lady at reception tried to find a solution to partially refund us the money. It didn't work out, but it was nice nonetheless, which is a plus point, otherwise the rating would have been worse. Overall, the price is OK for one night. There are enough parking spaces and they are free. The waiter in the bar on the first night was very friendly.

Located out of town with no views to Meteora at all. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and sufficient for an overnight stay (we were on a tour otherwise you'd need a car). €7 per night room tax payable upon check in.

Breakfast and dinner were buffets with enough variety to satisfy most, however it is a huge barn of a dining room full of large tour groups.

It was a spacious room. There is also a bathtub and hairdryer, and Nespresso is also available.
It was October, and it was 8 degrees in the morning and it felt cold, but there was no blanket (it was in the dresser, apparently).
The food was great with a wide variety of buffets.
The wifi was also easy to connect to.

I absolutely loved this hotel for my visit to Meteora. I had a car so this was fine for me to have a short drive into Kalambaka. Very spacious hotel, very clean, and comfortable for sleeping. Great breakfast buffet. But most importantly the service at the front desk was superb. I checked in late and needed to schedule an e-bike tour for early next morning. Gyota at the front desk called the e-bike tour guide and booked me for 9 am the next day so I wouldn't have to miss it. I felt great about staying at this hotel!

If you are looking for calm, authenticity, intimacy at the foot of the meteors ESCAPE THIS HOTEL
a factory of tourists (Chinese, Americans) arriving in groups by bus.
The food (I mean food) is disgusting and expensive
No place to sit at the table when you are not part of mass tourist groups
Brief ! The rooms are very spacious and clean, the bedding is of very good quality,
That's just why I
