We needed two hotel rooms (one single, one double) at very short notice due to a mix up at another hotel. The Alexiou were able to accommodate us at a very reasonable price, the owner was a cheerful man, and the English-speaking reception staff wererexceptionally helpful. The rooms were fine, with nice balconies, and the breakfast was fine too. There is a free public car park only 100 metres away, and residents can load/unload directly outside the hotel - which is also well-placed for the town centre.

Very cozy and beautiful hotel.
The room was big, clean, comfortable, modern and provided with all the necessities!
Breakfast was included in the offer but quite a small buffet with a limited variety of choices was provided.
The stuff was helpful and very friendly.
It's very close to the city centre and the main square, next to cafés and restaurants.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The shower was just a shower head from the ceiling with a glass partition to separate the toilet. It did not drain so started to flood the bathroom. I turned off the water (soap still in my hair) and grabbed the bedspread to stop the hall and room from flooding (never washing the soap out of my hair) No one was available to help when I came to the lobby-the woman setting up breakfast told me someone would be there at 7:30 am-it was about 7 am at that time! So at 7:30 I told the desk clerk what had happened to me. Not only were they not apologetic, she and some manager man were actually mad at me because “now they had to wash the bedding” and charged me an extra 20 euros. I couldn’t believe it. Don’t ever stay here.

Wonderful family-run hotel with fantastic views! This hotel exceeded my expectations: clean and spacious rooms - request a room on the third or fourth floor with the balcony, you won’t regret it. The sunset was magnificent.
Theodora and the whole Hotel team went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. They held Luggage far beyond check out time and accommodated in every way possible.

▪️Room - clean and comfy beds, Netflix, aircon working well, fridge was very old and so noisy we had to switch it off during the night.
▪️Balcony - gorgeous but extremely noisy from the street
▪️Bathroom - simple showerhead with very bad flow. Hubby brushed his teeth and the shower went ice cold then super hot 😜
▪️Elevator - actually working🫶

Ambience and overall look from hotel -dated, stuck in the 70's Vegas era with everything added from a garage sale to old memorabilia from Granma🕺

Breakfast- WORST we ever had on all off our trips all over the world and we are NO fussy travellers. Weird combinations from pickled veggies, stale bread, very soggy omelette type egg. Cut up pieces of what should have been a pie of sorts. Very very sweet syrupy cut up cake. 'fresh fruit' was one bruised old apple. The coffee..... Dont get me started. It felt like the scrape all the food from the previous day together and re heat it over and over and over again.

Overall - Very disappointed in our money spent booking a Meteora tour and THIS hotel was included (wich we had no knowledge before hand) We saved for months to tick it off our bucket list & will deff have negative memories off the ⭐⭐⭐ stars this hotel deff doesn't qualify for. 2 stars at most.

Wonderful staff! They stayed late to check us in! Breakfast was fantastic and fully prepared for us! They even brought out some extra traditional Greek food we hadn’t ordered. The room was spacious and clean. My favorite hotel in Greece so far!!

Helpful front desk, great view of Meteora from balcony, especially in fading light. Train station and bus stop nearby. Same with the natural history/mushroom museum, well worth a visit. Bus takes you to and from monasteries. You are at start of a street (Trikala) of squares turning left out the hotel with a plethora of restaurants surrounding. The covered balcony stayed dry during T-storm. Hotel stowed luggage for our later departure.

Very beautiful hotel with simple bedspreads and room setup. The rooms are spacious, beds and pillows are comfortable and the breakfast is amazing. Convenient location to Meteora. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a morning tour the day of checkout. When we checked out the front desk held our bags for us from 9 am until our back to Athens at 6 pm. We had 2 rooms and both were clean and ready for check in upon arrival. This hotel has basic necessities nothing fancy, if you’re looking for luxury this is not for you.

"Ask for a room with upper balcony for views of Meteora. It does face the main street, so some traffic noise is to be expected with the balcony views. Staff is very helpful. "
