Nestled in the heart of Recoleta, the Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires garners acclaim for its pristine cleanliness and sophisticated elegance. Luxurious amenities, such as the lush gardens, indulgent spa, and multiple dining options, are popular among guests.
While the service and rooms are generally praised for their comfort and attentiveness, a few visitors have experienced inconsistencies in service and room features. Despite mixed views on value, the hotel's prime location and elegant atmosphere continue to impress travelers.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed at The Palace for one night after our Antarctica cruise. I wish we could stay for longer! This is the best hotel in Buenos Aires! It's not just because of the elegantly decorated suites, the grandiose façade or the beautiful garden, it's the service which won my heart over! Everyone from the front desk to the concierge at the Park Hyatt and The Palace ( there are two different entrances) was so helpful and friendly. We had a stressful time at the airport as one of our luggage was missing when we flew in from Ushuaia. We arrived the hotel much later than expected and missed the pick up transfer for our Gala Tango booking. The front desk staff at Park Hyatt was super efficient in checking us in. The upgrade to Alvear Suite really brightened our day! Our luggage were delivered to our suites in no time. The concierge team was so quick to arrange alternative transfer to the Gala Tango by taxi. The female doorman at The Palace was very thoughtful as she checked if we had cash to pay for the taxi. Lucky she asked as we were in such a hurry and forgot to bring cash! She even provided us some cash to pay for the taxi ride! This truly was the best service! This truly is the best hotel in Buenos Aires!

Stayed for just one night on way back to US but wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel itself is really beautiful and the staff was very friendly / strong service element. The rooms were very spacious and matched the rest of the building and the 4pm checkout allowed us to hang around the hotel longer to catch a late flight - made it feel like we were getting an extra day there. The location is right in the heart of the most upscale area of Buenos Aires and we were able to walk to many of the places that we wanted to see. It is located on a busy street so there is some street noise but it wasn't too bad. The hotel isn't cheap - most Park Hyatt's aren't - but if in budget, I would recommend staying here

We found th Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Hotel to be truly exceptional in terms of service, accommodations, food service, ambiance and spa facilities. Staff was super attentive and any request was quickly provided. The room was especially spacious and well designed. The bathroom is very large with plenty of room for two people to dress at the same time with ample room. We enjoyed the spa - specifically the gym facilities and the pool and equipment were perfect. We enjoyed meals at the Oak Room Bar, the Gioia Restaurante & Terrace, and in one of the banquet rooms. All three offered wonderful cuisine and beverages. The location of this property is very convenient to both Recoleta and Palermo districts. This will definitely be our choice for our next stay in Buenos Aires.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff is great-- very welcoming, very helpful and they know how to let you know you're valued as customers by the little touches you see in your room. The welcome cookies or macarons is a wonderful touch.

Our 25th wedding anniversary began at the Park Hyatt and our expectations were simply blown away. We had heard great things, and we had trepidation that this would be a case of overpromise and underdeliver...boy, were we wrong. The friendliness of the staff was nothing short of remarkable--professional, yet it had genuine warmth. The meals we ate at the two dining rooms were the highlights of our gustatory sampling of BA, the rooms were contemporary, well cared-for, and I do admit to a bias when a hotel room includes a Nespresso coffee maker! We would return here in a heartbeat, if it weren't 12+ hours of travel from our home.

For more than ten years I have stayed, at least, twice a year at the Park Hyatt. I considered it to the best hotel in Latin America. The service was impeccable, and there was great attention to detail. However, starting two years ago, the service began to slip. One of the things that was most annoying was that they started to sell gym and pool access to local residents. I once had to wait 20 minutes meanwhile a local actress took her acting lessons on the treadmill. I also had to sit on the bench while local senior citizens finished their swim lessons. On top of that, the last time I called in, the person who took my reservation did not look up my previous record and she promptly told me that the only thing they had was single beds for more than $350 USD per night. Last of all, with competitors providing more amenities, such as welcome gifts, free breakfast, free happy hour and upgrades, what is the point of staying at a hotel where everything is a la carte. These are easy things to fix. I complained once to the management, but the comments fell on deaf ears. I guess the Sheraton Towers will now get my business.

This top-notch hotel is located in the upscale Recoleta area and is simply awesome. There are 2 buildings, one an old french-style palace and one a modern building, connected by a little park on different levels. Public areas are amazing with a beautiful blend of modern and old, lots of artworks and great decoration everywhere. Rooms are spacious and contemporary with nice furniture and decoration. Bathrooms are extra large with walk in shower, bathtub, double sinks and a separate toilet. The spa and indoor pool area are on the smaller side but nicely appointed.
There are different restaurants and all are highly recommended. The bar has a terrace overlooking the whole property and is the perfect spot to enjoy the well prepared cocktails. Breakfast is very good with a mix of buffet and a la carte service. Staff all around the hotel is very friendly and professional.

A stunningly beautiful property with superb service.
The garden is a dream, where u can relax and have a drink. The staff are very helpful, polite, and accommodating, the same goes for the managers and the concierge.
One of the smartest hotel room design I have seen; the dressing area and the bathroom separated with a very thick door, so no noise from bathroom to bedroom.
This is the new wing, I am not sure how rooms are in the old wing of the hotel

We recently stayed in a beautiful corner room with a view of the gardens. The room was spacious and nicely decorated in keeping with the historic portion of the property. We found the service to be excellent at the bars and restaurants on the property. We especially enjoyed the quiet and safe location and we were able to walk easily to several excellent restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

What a disappointment! We have stayed in Park Hyatts before and this really didn’t live up to the name.
We had a suite which wasn’t a great lay out with few windows and tatty furniture. The bathroom, while huge, did not have one single towel rail or hook so you had to throw everything on the bath. What hotel designed doesn’t put towel rails in the bathroom?
We asked what types of beer they had in the bar and were told they were out of everything but one!!! And it took us 15 minutes to get that one – the bar tender was really quite rude. The bar is also ludicrous – old furniture that is too big for the space making it feel cramped and uncomfortable.
We had booked a table at the restaurant for dinner and asked to be seated outside. They said they had minimal tables outside but would do their best. We left and had dinner elsewhere and when we returned we discovered that the entire garden was turned into a restaurant – but that was a different restaurant in the hotel – no-one ever told us there was a 2nd restaurant!
The final straw was that we didn’t even get turn down service – at $1,000 a night I believe we have paid for it.
While people were apologetic, it really shouldn't have been this way in such an expensive hotel.
