Detailed Reviews
We feel that the A Hotel is the perfect location to explore the neighbourhood. From being able to walk 30 seconds out the front door to the delicious gelato place on the corner where all the locals go, to going in the opposite direction two blocks to “the” neighbourhood restaurant and being the only tourists there :). We walked to parks, the famous cemetary and took the bus and subway...all close by.
The staff are super helpful, friendly and efficient. The warmth of their welcome and willingness to help us out (I.e. write out the Spanish to get our laundry done locally) made it a pleasure. Our room was cleaned well everyday and the bed really comfortable.
We hope to come back to the same hotel, same room in two years time. We think that says it all...

Excellent value on a safe quiet street . Conveniently located to transit, grocery, western union, main thoroughfare.
The front desk has 24/7 attendant. English speaker during the day. We had a room with twin beds. The room is small and clean. It is a good place if you are out touring most of the day. There are many light filled lounge areas that you can read, work, or visit in. A continental breakfast is available for a small fee. Wi-Fi is good. The A hotel communicates by what’s app TEXT only.

Each member of staff was excellent and really went out of their way to make the stay very pleasant indeed. The room was fantastic and comfortable. The location perfect hidden away on a very quiet street but still very central. Not to be missed.

+1
Hotel room was clean but the rest of the hotel minus lobby and eating area in desperate need of repairs. Pool not cleaned in a very long time visible grime on bottom of pool, exercise room had visible mold growing on walls horrible smell, Wi-Fi didn’t work. Part of hotel not in use but easily assessable for one room on bottom floor missing window allowing anyone to come into hotel. Will never stay here again online description deceiving shows older photos when hotel was Ramada inn. Landscaping overgrown, building itself on the outside needs a lot of repairs.

We recently booked a weekend at the Sheraton Times Square. I started my expected 7-hr drive by initiating Apple CarPlay from the calendar entry sent by the Times Square Sheraton confirming my reservation. The address turned out to be somewhere in Brooklyn. When we got there my 12-year old son said "Dad, I expected the buildings to be bigger" LOL. With the right address, another 2-hours later.. we arrived.

We feel so lucky to have stayed here . Perfect location in a quiet street yet not far from the famous cemetery (10 minutes walk) and subway station (5 minutes) . Originally designed rooms . Friendly and efficient staff . An amazing deal

We were very happy with the Art Hotel. Nice character building, rooms (though small) are finished nicely. Good hot water/pressure in shower. Fantastic location. Breakfast (included) was v. good (juices, cereals, yogurt, pastries...). Staff very helpful. Free internet access provided in lobby (often a wait for the one PC). Good deal for the price!

This hotel is a unique, stylish boutique choice conveniently close to the subte and near some of the major shopping streets of BA. We loved the friendly staff, the lovely rooms, the art gallery downstairs, and the delicious breakfast. We suffered from no noise problems in our first floor room. Our stay was so charming that it was easy to overlook the relatively small size of the rooms (the exposed brick ceilings were soaring) and the paucity of daylight. With choices like this, I can't understand how anybody chooses to stay in big boring chain business hotels.

This hotel is quite special. I stayed there for 5 nights in December and enjoyed it. The staff was genuinely interested in getting everything right and helped me to no end with restaurant and tour reservations, as well spending some time at a top notch spa in the neighborhood. The hotel is a completely renovated 7-story former house with a good art gallery on the ground floor and a terrace on the roof (where I read in the sun every morning). Attention to historic detail is a plus with large wood/glass doors leading to each guest room and large heavy drapes for privacy. The breakfast was quite hearty and is included in the price.
The main drawback is that there are no carpets on any of the floors, including the spiral staircase, so each footstep echos from room to room and through the staircase which sometimes made sleeping difficult (I wore earplugs a few times). The lack of carpeting made the interior noise sometimes worse than the exterior noise and the heavy drapes were not always effective (although quite stylish). The price is great for the location and service. Because the hotel did not have room for me I moved to the Etoile, which is a 5 star hotel in the same neighborhood, and missed the Art Hotel. I want to go back!

Love, love, love this place. This place is superb. Conveniently located to a major shopping blvd. The rooms are beautiful, modern meets cozy. Clean lines. Beautiful gallery downstairs with different artist's work displayed every couple of weeks. The staff is extremely helpful and speak excellent English. Always ready to lend a hand. On-site computer to check email for free. Cleaning service is outstanding. Will do laundry onsite, but I did mine down the street. The place was so nice to come "home" to after a day of shopping. Tell Javier, the main staffer that Tonya sent you. I told him how much I loved the place and want others to know. I would stay there again and again. It felt like home, I spent 2 weeks there. Happy travels in Buenos Aires! I've included photos
