We stayed at this hotel for a night at the start of our G-Adventures tour of Patagonia and then again at the end. It’s conveniently situated close to the centre of Buenos Aires so it’s easy to walk and see some of the sites.
Check in was quick and we were soon up in our room. As others have said the rooms are fairly basic without a window but was fine for what we needed. Bathroom cramped but clean with hot water for a shower.
Rather than risking changing money out on the street we changed it at the hotel with a good rate.
Over all it was average but fine for us

This hotel has a good location. The lobby and room is clean and has good air conditioning. The room itself was like a cell a window opening to a wall with a very small shower and bathroom. The elevator was very old and slow. The air conditioning provided a Very quiet sleep

Good stay.
Very nice breakie, good wifi. Great location. Nice interior and nice reception room.

Very good and friendly service. The room was well designed, clean and comfortable with a big bathroom attached. Noise level was low (air conditioners outside). Breakfast offered a great variety of cakes, fruits, etc. Eggs had to be paid extra.

This place is amazing for the price! Look no further. In the heart of downtown Buenos Aires located near all the popular attractions and less than a block away from the Galleria shopping mall. All kinds of restaurants around and great architecture everywhere. The building was very elegant looking, European style. I'm glad I found this place!

I checked in (The receptionist was kind enough to upgrade my room free of cost) and had inmediately to go on my business. When I came to the room late I forgot to buy water, so I check the minibar and it was empty. Why had a minibar that’s empty? Soap and shampoo where put on bottles sticker to the wall so you had to press the bottles… well It was a pain to get shampoo out of the bottle. The worst thing was when I got to bet: only the sheets and a thin blanket was on, so I was cold the whole night.

Dear Guest, thank you for your review. The minibar is a service at your disposal for you to put your belongings and keep them refrigerated. There is also the possibility of ordering any drink at our SEIS50 bar or through our room service system. The use of shower gel or liquid soap is due to ecological purposes. The Hotel has extra blankets on request; Any guest who needs more can request them at the reception or with our floor staff. We hope to receive you again as a guest in our hotel. Best regards!

I picked this hotel as my tour with G adventures was leaving from here.
I agree with many of the previous reviews, lovely reception, breakfast was okay, bad rooms.
The rooms were barren, however my main issue was the lack of safe.
Secondly the bathrooms need updated. The shower was so small, there was no way to avoid flooding the bathroom every time you shower.
Good central location, however would not recommend

We stayed here for two nights after staying in the 3 Star Waldorf hotel and then a hotel in Mendoza, and found the hotel to be good. The breakfast was the nicest out of the three, but still the same as they all are in AR eg. crossoints, cheese, ham. We stayed in a twin room and found the rooms to be spacious, and the bathromm quite big as well. The rooms were clean, but old. Location is quite good, close to Florida st.

Mniature rooms and bathrooms, bathroom door didnt closed and faucet leaked, non smoking rooms and public areas are unavaliable, air conditioning is set up from lobby- cannot be controlled in room-, no internet service for guests, noise from gay disco next door was upsetting, hotel turns off air conditioniing and lights in corridors at midnight in order to save energy, hotel staff is rude and unwilling to help, this hotel needs a serious update, everything is old and rundown.

I don't even know where to begin. I would have never booked this hotel myself but it was the starting point for my G Adventures trip. We arrived before check in so we left our bags with the concierge and went about our day. We returned in the afternoon to check in and grab our bags but for some reason they kept delaying us. The front desk agent told me that the bell boy had pulled my luggage handle too hard and had broken it and were now trying to fix it. They invited me to inspect it and indeed it was broken but they said they were going to handle it and they would bring up my bag when it was fixed. 3 hours later the front desk agent and the bell boy returns my bag even more broken then it was and basically tells me there is nothing they can do. NO APOLOGY NO SOLUTION. Just that the bag was probably faulty to begin with and it's not their fault. I know we're in South America but when a hotel breaks a guests' bag, they need to offer some sort of compensation. They offered none. Not even to have it fixed professionally. I tried to get the manager involved but he was never there and I was departing the next day. In the end nothing got resolved. Other members of my group also experienced stolen clothes and a missing phone (that was returned when police got involved).
I would never recommend this hotel for multiply reasons.
1) Terrible customer service
2) Old and dated
3) Small and cramped rooms and bathroom (the shower is so claustrophobic!)
4) Wifi is expensive
Save your money and book elsewhere.

From Ezeiza airport the cost is $ 700 (pesos). The payment is arranged directly with the driver, in pesos or dollars. For dollar payments you must check the exchange rate applied by the agency.

I flew from Lima to Buenos Aires, I was exhausted when I got there so I paid 40USD for a taxi straight to the hotel door. it took about 30 minutes my taxi man had very little English and had only v.basic Spanish before I went through the arrival gate there was a tourist information and a taxi rank you pay there and tell the girls where you are going. The public bus is 10USD one of the other girls got and said it was great it brings you to a bus station then takes you to your hotel. takes a bit longer as there are bus stops along the way. I kinda think if I went back I'd get the public bus but when you are arriving judge it when you get there as there could be no buses so taxi could be your only option. if you want to save money maybe say to the girls at the taxi rank if anyone is going the same way?
The hotel is on right hand side of the road no big sign but the taxi man will find it the numbers well labelled so have the address in your hand. The hotel is really central lots of little food shops near the hotel. Don't eat the food in the room well over priced.
