The South Beach Camps Bay was just fabulous. We stayed in a massive suite with a huge balcony (with fantastic views of the beach as well as Lions Head) with access to our own pool. Just perfect. All very clean and minimalist and white. Kitchen was so well stocked and the fridge had bacon and eggs and fresh orange juice for breakfast. Freshly baked baguettes we’re delivered first thing in the morning! Just great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and daily housekeeping was great too. The communal rooftop pool is also a brilliant spot for sundowners (as has a bar) and watching the sunset. Overall I can’t recommend South Beach at Camps Bay highly enough.

What a place to stay! Located at the end of Camps Bay away from Lions Head so no bustling crowds outside but very short 2 minute walk down to the front to the beach and the numerous restaurants. It is everything that the website says and more. We were lucky enough to get upgraded into the Penthouse Suite with Pool which was a fabulous treat. It was as close to perfect as you can get. Our room had everything you needed.. and more! The fridge was stocked with ample food choices for a delicious breakfast (yoghurts, ham, cheese, eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, butter, jam, milk, OJ, water) as well as champagne, wine and beer (extra charge). Delicious croissants and mini baguettes are left on your door handle at about 7am. The bed was supremely comfortable and the room so quiet! The hotel is stylish. The front desk staff were brilliant and incredibly on the ball and helpful. Everything just works! Each room gets a free parking space under the hotel and there are beach/pool towels. Try an get a room as high as possible. We went up to the roof bar to sip a sundowner and watch the sunset.. something not to be missed. Tip: book restaurants in advance if you're staying during busy periods. Lots of restaurants to choose from. We visited 3 : The Cod Father, The Bungalow and Hussar Grill and all were full to the gills and we wouldn't have got in if we hadn't booked!…

One of the stops on our Honeymoon trip and they really did make us feel special! We were welcomed by friendly staff to check in and then when we got to our beautiful room we were greeted by petals on the bed, a beautiful card and a nice cold bottle of bubbles! The view from the rooms is incredible over the beach. the room was clean and tidy and well stocked with breakfast supplies as well as drinks. The kitchen area had all of the things you would need to cook meals if you choose to. We didn't use much of the equipment that was there but it all looked as thought it was in working order. Hotel staff were helpful in terms of aiding anything we needed like cabs and especially pointers for timings of activities we wanted to do during our stay. Our stay at South Beach was really amazing - our suite was very spacious and modern and had a fully kitchen equipped kitchen as well as a stocked fridge of complimentary foods - they even leave fresh bread and croissants hanging on your door every morning! The hotel is on a quiet road on the edge of camps bay so was really peaceful whilst being close to everything - and they have a very nice roof terrace with a bar, the perfect spot for sunset! I would highly recommend staying here

We absolutely loved this hotel, everything about it was beautiful, including the staff. The rooms were amazing & the views just stunning, you must also use the rooftop bar at sundown, we could have sat there forever! I would definitely recommend it for a stay.

Great hotel in a perfect Camps Bay location. Just steps away from the beach and very swimmable tide pool. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Good parking, we’ll stocked fridge. They even left us a hand crocheted penguin in our pillow on the last day! ❤️ I would definitely stay here again

The resort is beautiful, safe and secure. Beautiful views from the room. We got upgraded to a bigger suite with private pool that felt and looked more like a dream home than a hotel room. The staff was beyond excellent, I can’t say enough about them. Everyone is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond for you. Fridge is stocked daily with breakfast items, drinks, snacks, fruit, or whatever else you want them to get you. Fresh bread delivered to your door every morning. Parking garage has plenty parking and is secured. Key needed to enter. Area seems safe, I’ve read a lot about crime in South Africa but never did I feel unsafe in the neighborhood. The resort is a short walk to the beach, market, restaurants, etc. Perfect place to stay.

Really lovely stay at this small boutique hotel. Fantastic room with great amenities. Fresh bread was delivered to the room each morning and the fridge was full with cold meats, fruit and also bacon and eggs with a fully equipped kitchen. We loved it, it was like a mini apartment.

I can’t say enough positive things about this property. To be sure, there were some problems related to load shedding /blackouts in SA, but the mark of a great hotel is how they respond to problems. They had LED lights to use and the generator they have would run lights , TV, and internet. It takes some getting used to, but the power outages will occur no matter where you stay. They upgraded our room on arrival and we had an entire apartment with hyper modern appliances including convection oven and microwave with convection stovetop The refrigerator was stocked daily with cheese, eggs, bacon, Turkey, juice, milk, and fresh fruit. Two baguettes and two croissants were placed on the door at 8 AM each morning. The rooftop pool bar was tres chic and the drinks cost a fraction of what they would in the US. Best recommendation: pay whatever airfare it takes to get to Cape Town and enjoy Camps Bay at the South Beach Hotel! …

I started there with my husband and we had a good time! We were just there for 2 nights and we had busy days so we didn't get to use the hotel amenities. Breakfast is ok. They provided gluten free bread given my dietary restrictions. Staff is very friendly.
