To start up with, this is one of the best villas I have stayed in :)
the location was amazing, in top of a hill facing the ocean and you can see camps bay, such a beautiful view. the area was super comfortable and safe as my family loved it.
the villa has 4 bedrooms, and each one is greater the the other ( couldn't decide which one to pick hahahah ) the finishing around the villa and the color ( marble and stones in the interior design make it incredible and you don''t want to leave the place )
top notch services, cleanliness, comfort, WiFi .. etc ) couldn't have asked for better.
last but not least, the staff from the Manager to the maids was so kind and nice to me and my family, my kids loved the people there and they still talking highly about them.

i just can't not recommend this villa to anyone as i'm sure they will have a great time.

Luxurious to the limit, stunning interior decoration with marble staircase, huge bathrooms with shower and jacuzzi bath tubs. The rooms are stunning and the bed so comfortable, I slept like a princess. Great hospitality and surprise gifts and lunch on arrival. The Staff are super friendly and helpful. Spectacular views. In Camps Bay so you have a view of Mountain , Sea and Signal Hill, central to all the fun things to do in Cape town.
HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!

Fantastic view, beautiful house, wonderful friendly staff and a marvelous welcome when we arrived. We had such a nice time in this self-catering villa. And we were actually very well catered for with laundry service and a fully packed fridge when we arrived. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Atlantic suites in Camps Bay for 8 nights in the middle of November as part of our Honeymoon. This Boutique guest house is little known and we had a difficult time in finding it (Google search – Atlantic Suites Camps Bay) but, I cannot stress how pleased we are that we did!

The owners Sally and Ian are extremely friendly and accommodating people, when we arrived they showed us to our room (I will get to that shortly) and gave us information about the house and surrounding area. They then left us to unpack but did bring us a gorgeous Strawberry drink and some nibbles.

The Room

There are only 4suites at the guest house, 2 on the ground level and 2 lower ground level next to the pool with the owner’s penthouse on the top floor, and that helps to create a very personal and homely feel to the accommodation. Our suite had ample clothes storage, a TV with digital channels, a DVD hi-fi, microwave, kettle and a fridge with beer, wines, sprits, water and soft drinks which were complementary.

The layout to the room was incredible, there was a king size bed looking out of a large window and also a patio window onto the balcony which all then look out over the 12 Apostles to the left, Camps Bay ahead and the Lions Head to the right. Both the window and the patio window could be locked open, there was air conditioning but the weather was not that hot while we were there to require its use. Also in the bed area were 2 very comfy chaise longs looking out over the fantastic views

The bathroom was equally amazing, to get to it required walking through the middle of the wardrobe, almost Narnia-esc! Within the bathroom was a separate toilet room, two sinks with a massive mirror flanking which were toiletry storage cupboards. The shower was huge with a shelf and seat below the window. The bath, a corner Jacuzzi bath big enough for 2 adults, was near to the shower. But, the best thing about the bathroom was the fact that there are large wooden shutters that opened up and allowed you to look out over the fantastic views of the Atlantic, there is something very freeing about being able to shower with a sight like that.

Food

We stayed on a B&B basis (not sure if anything else is available but there are enough restaurants in Cape Town to keep you occupied for a long time) but it might has well have been full board! Sally greeted us on the first morning with an amazing fruit platter each. This contained melon, strawberry’s, apple, mango, yoghurts etc, then a plate of breads, muffins, cold meats and cheeses, there is also an endless supply of fruit juices, water, tea, coffee and cereals. By this point you are well and truly stuffed thinking you could not possibly eat any more, then Sally asks what you would like for a cooked breakfast! The whole process usually took an hour but the dinning area is between the 2 ground level suites and overlooks Camps Bay and the Atlantic so my wife and I could have stopped there a lot longer, generally when it came to tea time we were still not hungry after the breakfast we had eaten. One thing that must be noted is that the fruit platter differed every day and it became exciting to see what Sally could conjure up each day.

The House

Parking was a little tight on the drive and if the house is full someone will have to park on the road outside the house. Up stairs is the dinning area, then downstairs is a lounge area with a small ‘bar’, sofas, books and collection of DVD’s. There is also a laptop for internet use along with wireless internet access if you have your own. Outside is the infinity pool which is solar panel heated and a small garden area lovely for relaxing in, each room has its own sun lounger’s on each respective balcony area. The house has large windows throughout and as a result is very light and airy, it is a shame we were sight seeing because we could have just stayed in all day.

General

This accommodation is not to be missed, it is a little expensive but that is more than repaid by the service and standards applied. We had a fantastic time at Atlantic suites and would definitely return should we visit Cape Town again, a massive thank you to Sally, Ian, Hilda, Ellius and Socks for making our stay in Camps Bay an extremely memorable one.

It's indeed a piece of heaven in camps bay! The breathtaking view, service, cleanliness, tastefully decors, friendly and thoughful owner and staffs is more then excellent, it's beyond words.. Was there in 7th Oct, it's a beginning of summer hence sometimes the sun can a giant spotlight, hot and it burnt.. after a tired and hot day trip back to the room, was worried the room gonna be oven hot, but to our surprise, the air con was already on by the staff to cool down the room! how thoughtful can that be?! Sally, Helen and Albert was so attentive make our stays even more perfect. Needless to say the unblocked view of the ocean and Lion's Head mountain outside of our room. we probably die with no regret by choosing this outstanding guest house! picture is worth a thousand words. I uploaded day and night pics and you be the judge.

We stayed in Atlantic Suites for the last two nights of our trip to South Africa. We only wish it had of been longer now as absolutly everything was perfect and beyond expectations. Sally is an excellent host who has thought of everything and who made our stay a very personal experience. Breakfast, high tea, the views, the ambiance, the staff and the accomodation were all perfect and we will definitely be back. Excellent value for money.

I must admit that when looking for accomodation in Camps Bay Atlantic Suites were not the first place that appeared on our search - however we were very glad that we did. We wanted a place that had amazing views with high quality accomodation and Atlantic Suites was a great find.

Atlantic Suites is owned and run by Sally and Ian and on arriving at Atlantic Suites having following very straight forward directions form the airport we were met by Sally who quickly showed us to our room and explained how eveything worked in the house.

The room was very well presented, clean, spacious and well equiped. The room contained a nice sofa area with a TV, DVD and CD player. It was also well stocked with toiletries, towels, slippers bathrobes, hairdryer, iron and the small pantry was stocked with snacks fruit and the fridge was stocked with various drinks, spirits and mixers, loads of crockery, cutlery and even a picnic hamper. The batroom was large with 2 wash basins a shower and a very large wirlpool bath. Our room opened out onto the pool area with a stunning view over Camps Bay.

After giving us some time to settle Sally arrived with an amazing welcome tea. This was an example of the breakfast. We arrived for breakfast after a very good nights sleep to be met with a a selection of food that was of excellent quality and variety, this was fruit cereal, pastries, cold meats, and then followed by a hot breakfast. A meal which was throughly enjoyed with the most amazing view over the bay.

Sally and Ian were always happy to call a taxi or reccomend a place to eat or go to for the day, there local knowledge was so useful and appreciated.

As for Camps Bay / Cape Town and the surrounding area - were few words can descride the amazing sceneery, the great people and the food is out of this world.

Atlantic Suites is a fantastic place and worth every penny, the service and hospitality makes some the worlds top hotels feel cold and impersonal. Worth a vist you won't regret it. We are sure to go back one day.

The B&B very well kept and clean. We were provided with a afternoon tea set, which was really sweet and welcoming. Most staff were very friendly especially during breakfast serving but some were quite awkward during our stay. I am not to sure why, may have been the ethnicity and type of the clientele they usually cater to. Can't pin point the exact issue but we didn't feel comfortable during our stay for the whole week, especially for the price we paid. I travel and jetset for my job and with my company. For the price we had to paid, I dont believe it is 5 star, especially for a B&B. I have paid less for the St Regis and Four Seasons for impeccable service. I guess you just have to pay up for South Africa and for the summer season. Our room was lovely and smelt very nice. We just didn't feel welcomed compared to the other guests, which we could see infront of our eyes.

Seldom do we find somewhere where everything is truly perfect and where I honestly cannot suggest anything which can be improved upon. Atlantic Suites really did surpass our already high expectations. Sally and her team are perfectionists. The welcome high tea was fantastic, just beautifully done. The breakfasts were equally fabulous. The room was stunning, with an extremely comfortable bed with lovely bed linen - the Atlantique (but all were beautiful), a Jacuzzi bath and loads of storage space in both the bathroom and bedroom. The views were amazing from the top floor bedrooms such as ours. The hosting was unobtrusive but highly professional, with Sally, Helen and Dale, booking restaurants, suggesting trips and booking taxis. Their staff were equally fantastic. And to have candles lit in the bedroom and in fact throughout the house every evening - what a personal and romantic touch. Sally lights them herself and waits for the last guest to return before she puts then out. As I have said, it really is absolutely fabulous and as perfect as it gets! We have stayed in many beautiful and well run guest houses in South Africa but this has to be the best!
