The staff took exceptional care of me. My room was spacious and had everything I needed. The breakfasts were outstanding. I have special dietary requirements and the staff went out of their way to provide my needs. I enjoyed a daily swim in the well-maintained grounds. I always felt safe and well cared for.
Last minute booking during peak time was good value for money with clean and spacious room in great location. Someone was there to check me in, but not thereafter, only an issue when I could not get wifi to work. Thin walls of beautiful colonial building an issue in morning if you have a room next to kitchen. Security guard was super friendly and helpful!
Very good reception on arrival by security in spite of no admin staff, as it was late. Good clean and well kept establishment with curteous staff, nice secure onsite parking, fresh clean towels daily. Centrally positioned to Durban yet offers tranquility from daily hustle and bustle of mid city life. Will recommend as a good value for money accommodation. Can do with an addition of variety for breakfast as my wife could only get eggs and tomatoes as a hot breakfast.
