The places is marketed as a 4 star Bnb but due to age and what what seems to be insufficient funding the Bnb is no where near that rating. Extra friendly staff but a misleading rating as this is in no way a proven 4 star place

The management and staff at Mandalay work very hard at maintaining the standards required by the Tourism Grading Council to ensure compliance of our rating. Furthermore, we have very stringent check-lists in place, that are monitored, and reported to senior management on a daily basis, any deviation from requirements is rectified immediately.

Lovely bed and breakfast. The actual property could do with a bit of "sprucing" up ... Towels were a little "hard" and should possibly be softened by tumble drying. Just a thought. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Rooms 7&8 wall paint were like peeling off , moist and mold smelled through out and the dark linen made the room dull and boring. The other rooms were perfect though...room 7&8 need some revamp..The terrace furniture was dirty .The sofa in room 8 was dirty and dusty not pleasing to the eye and didn’t go well with bedding and painting...my friends who occupied those rooms weren’t satisfied at all.The beds were terrible you could feel the springs
